A new report by TMZ says Sean O’Haire was in rehab sponsored by WWE for a few years before his death, trying to beat his addiction to alcohol.
O’Haire was checked in to WWE-sponsored rehab six times in the past six years, including one stay in treatment earlier this year. WWE tried to get in touch with O’Haire after he left the latest rehab stint, but had no luck reaching him.
Sean O’Haire was found dead on Tuesday in Spartanburg, South Carolina, after he committed suicide. He was 43 years old.
