Former WCW star Scotty Riggs wrote on his Twitter this evening that former WWE and WCW star Sean O'Haire has passed away. Riggs wrote:

"Just got a message that former wrestler Sean O' Haire has passed away. #RIPSeanOHaire"

An obituary for O'Haire can be found at this link. He died at his home in Spartanburg, South Carolina on Monday. He was 43.

A Celebration of Life visitation will be held from 1:00-3:00pm on Saturday, September 13th at his home at 510 Hampton Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29306.

Damn. I really liked him during his short stint in WWE. He was young, as well. R.I.P.

I always thought he could've been bigger in WWE than he was. RIP to the guy with one of my favorite entrance themes.

They did. Apparently he hung himself on his bedpost.

TMZ.com is reporting the following in regards to the death of former WWE and WCW star Sean O’Haire:

12:50 PM PT – According to local police, O’Haire was found in his bedroom, beside his bed, with a red rope tied around his neck and connected to the bedpost. His body was discovered by his father, who then called 911.

Former WCW and WWE wrestler Sean O’Haire was found dead Tuesday at his home in South Carolina … TMZ has learned.

The coroner in Spartanburg, SC tells TMZ a cause of death is unknown at this time, but no foul play is suspected. They are awaiting toxicology reports that might shed light on things.

Unfortunately I wasn't surprised when I read this.

RIP, what a sad, sad story of Sean O'Haire. He had all the potential in the world.
