Wrestle-1 is advertising several of their own talents for TNA Bound for Glory that have not yet been announced in the U.S., including Ryota Hama, Minoru Tanaka, Kazma Sakamoto (the former WWE manager for Tensai), Kaz Hayashi and Shuji Kondo. It’s worth noting that while everyone will be wrestling at the event, which will be recorded in Japan, that doesn’t necessarily mean all of the matches will air on the PPV for American fans.

Update on TNA/TV Network Deals

As we have been reporting, it is all but official that TNA and Spike TV will part ways at the end of 2014, when their current TV extension comes to an end. TNA executives are, or were, in talks with at least four other networks. The two being talked about frequently are the Velocity network and WGN America, but the Wrestling Observer is reporting that at least two more networks bigger than either are in the picture. One of the unknown networks is said to have a larger viewing audience than even Spike TV, but without the same target demographics.

There is one more set of television tapings later this month, followed by the October Bound for Glory PPV, and then another set of Impact and One Night Only tapings. Other than that, the company has cut all the way back on live events and wrestler appearances. They are some wrestlers whose contracts have expired in the past few months, that are still working on a per-appearance basis, as there seems to be a freeze on everything until they work out their television situation, and figure out how much money they have to work with. There were a few talents who got new contracts recently, and it will be interesting to see if Bully Ray is given the new deal he’s looking for, as he’s seeking more money in a time when TNA is cutting every cost they can.
