VLADIMIR STRIFE VS MADDOX PAINE
SINGLES MATCH
GRADER: PROGGY

Vladimir Strife
First off, I like the analysis on the feud up to this point. It really puts forth what's at stake in this match and why both of these behemoths want to win. Props on that, something I wish others would write in their matches. The action in the beginning was really strong and it flowed marvelously. Part of the reason why it flowed so much was the great description you pout forth into your match. It really lets the reader imagine the happenings in their mind, as it paints a clear picture. Off topic, but the Czar of Scars is a really cool nickname. I love the psychology shown from the beginning of targeting Maddox's knees. The Boston Crab spot really showed that psychology. Commentary doesn't count, but you really nailed it. Had me rolling at "Or a raging hardon" and "Shits a unicorn". The diving clothesline into the guardrail was a sick spot, by the way. Crowd fighting is awesome. The part where Vlad is taunting Maddox during the ten count was actually really cool. Once again, it added to the psychology of the match. The close ten counts really had me interested. A good showing that Maddox didn't want to die, and it really put him over as well as yourself. A few spelling errors down the long stretch, however nothing too bad and it didn't take me out of the setting. The ending was fucking sick and it really showed the evilness of Vladimir. I really liked the part where you focused on the young child crying. This was a really strong match and you should be proud of it.

Maddox Paine
The starting of the match was nice, and it really showcased how much these two men want to rip each other's heads off. Some parts were a head scratcher, including some words in the description that shouldn't have been there. "The more rookie competitor" is one of those. I really like how you put down Vlad got a cheer for the table. That added realism to the match, since it would be something to happen in real life. One thing I didn't really like was you mentioning how many rookie mistakes Maddox had, he is a former World Champ after all, so he should not be making too many rookie mistakes. Punching the table in half was, umm, innovative to say the least. "They approve - they approve", I really didn't see the need for the second they approve in that sentence. I liked the description of Vlad hitting the ring post with the steel chair, nice and creative. SPANISH ANNOUNCE TABLE! SIIII! The announce tables spot was insane, and I mean that in a good way. I really liked that. The crimson in the match was a nice touch, and I had Eddie Guerrero vs JBL amount of loss in my mind. And it fit with the gruesomeness which is this match. I liked the inclusion of Goodman, including the distraction it led too for Paine to use a no-hands suicide dive. SALT! I fucking love salt in matches like these. It adds a dynamic to the match and it really hurts. An inferno table added too. Nice. The ending was sick, and I'm pretty sure you killed Vlad.

Conclusion:
I have to say, this is one of the hardest matches I've ever had to grade in any fed I've participated in. Both of you had fantastic showings and very violent encounters. Vlad has excellent psychology and storytelling throughout his match, where as Maddox had a lot more innovative spots in his. Overall, both of you should be proud of your works. But in the end, I am going to have to give this one to Vladimir Strife. His storytelling, psychology and the description painted a better picture in my head throughout his posts. Awesome work both of you.

ACE ANDREWS VS DC HENNIG
SINGLES MATCH
GRADER: NONE

Double no-show.

KENDRICK BAYNE VS ROB CHAPMAN
SINGLES MATCH
GRADER: RURO

Kendrick Bayne: As always, you're writing ability makes for a great read.  My main complaint however, is that it felt like Rob had next to no offense, which felt off for a champion, even one at a distinct disadvantage.  It real felt more like Shade vs. Rob than Kendrick vs. Rob, and I think that took away from what could have been a really good story with Rob struggling both with Shade and with Kendrick's relatively unpredictability.  I don't feel like the idea was used to it's fullest.  However, the ending with Rob thinking he won because Shade rang the bell was genius, and it's probably one of my favorite endings to a fed match in quite some time.  So kudos for that.

Rob Chapman: I don't think I've read anything that wasn't solid from you man, and this continues it.  The action was evenly paced, and the description was spot on.  Both characters got more than enough spotlight to make them both look good.  The only thing I feel was missing was that, while Shade was certainly an aspect of this match, I feel he'd do more towards the very end when Kendrick was starting to lose, just me though.  Also, that uppercut/suicide dive spot is brutal every time I see it in a match.  Just absolutely brutal.

Verdict: I'm not going to dwell on small details, you're both pretty familiar with the small stuff, and both of you put in some pretty damn good matches.  However, there has to be a winner, and I have to give it to Rob Chapman, as his felt more like a title match.  Myke, you're had some good story, and if it hadn't been a title match, you probably would have taken it.  However, I think Rob nailed the title match atmosphere a little better as far as making both himself and the challenger look good while still telling the Shade/Cult vs. Rob scenario.   Good job to you both though.

DANTE CROSS VS AKIRA KOBAYASHI VS JAKEB AZAZEL
SINGLES MATCH
GRADER: RILEY

Akira Kobayashi: The first paragraph had some nice action going on as it did help create a setting that was chaotic but also, exciting. Dante who has yet to make it into the ring begins to throw a few Chairs inside the ring one of them almost hitting Ryn and Akira. You also did a good job on bringing Azazel into the match. While Akira picks Dante up they slowly turn around and see Jakob going over the top rope and crashing onto them with a Springboard Crossbody. Again in the second paragraph you did well using all three of the participates. I liked the spot where you had Jakob land a missile dropkick onto Akira causing him to stumble back against the ladder that Dante was climbing on and knocking it over. I can see the match beginning to change with the weapons now being involved. I liked the counter from the German Suplex from Azazel to Dante with Dante landing on his feet before doing a full backflip. Overall, I think you did well in the Action department and in the Description department as usual, and nothing felt rushed. There were a few spots that I thought were good moments, they were pretty cool. Especially in the finish, having Dante and Jakob fight on top of a bridging ladder. Jakob throws a few punches which rocks Dante onto his ladder before low dropkicking him off and onto the set of Tables beneath him. Good Stuff from you Akira.

Dante Cross: I legit laughed at the beginning of your match. Azazel walking over to Dante with a Purple cloth in hand before putting it over on his hand and then pulling it off with a Middle Finger. Good Descriptions, I notice right off the bat following this little sketch. Azazel whipping Dante towards the table as Dante runs up the table and does a backflip while Azazel is running behind him and comes to a complete stop before Cross lands behind him, wrapping him up and over with a T-Bone Suplex. The Ring Psychology where you had Dante being beaten down for abit by Azazel I really liked how you had Akira and Dante going at it for abit in the middle of the match. Also, The DropKick/ German Suplex I was a fan of and enjoyed. Your Action throughout was great as well.

Verdict: I gotta admit, these two matches were really close. Though they were parallel in the beginning and both had different Stories going on, I thought both Akira and Dante did very well in almost everything I was looking for. Both did well in Descriptions, and Selling. But in the end, I must pick only one person. I gotta give this one to Akira Kobayashi  He just edged Dante out in Action and I found his match to be enjoyable to read then Dante's.

RILEY WILLIAMSON VS DANNY DIAMOND

Danny Diamond wins via no-show.
