Stan Lee has suggested plans to make a Black Panther movie are still in development.
Lee, the former president and chairman of Marvel Comics, says that Marvel Studios will look to make a film based on the first black superhero in mainstream American comics.
He said: ''Eventually, all the superheroes are going to have their own movies.
''They are already working on Ant-Man, Dr. Strange and the Black Panther and there are others I am not allowed to talk about.''
Marvel has a list of films mapped out until 2019, though it's yet to be confirmed whether a Black Panther movie will be among these.
Meanwhile, it was reported last week that Joaquin Phoenix is in final talks to play Doctor Strange in a new Marvel movie.
The Academy Award-nominated actor is said to be the top choice for the superhero role in the latest Marvel film.
Collider.com said that a deal between Joaquin and Marvel for 'Doctor Strange' is ''currently being finalised'' after several months of negotiations.
The source added that the actor's contract is ''essentially at the 1 yard line, about to pass into the endzone''.
