| - It was previously reported that there was another network that was not only interested TNA Impact, but also offered them a deal. Word is the rumored channel is The Discovery Network's VELOCITY channel. The channel is available is 48 million homes, and only in HD. For a comparison, Spike TV is available in just over 97 million homes. Along with the channel being available in less homes, the deal offered to TNA is reportedly only one fourth of what they make from Spike TV.
TNA officials are said to be relieved that they have something on the table, but are disappointed by the financial offer. The hope from officials is that the offer from VELOCITY will lead to other offers.
At this time, TNA has a deal with Spike TV to air Impact through the end of 2014

| They dont have to be made public. There could be 4 other networks interested in negotiations that would rather keep them private. |

| Legitimate question: should TNA even bother trying to maintain a presence on television? Unless they landed on a broadcast network (which obviously will not happen), they'll clearly reach way less viewers through a new cable station. Plus, with Hulu, Amazon, and Netflix producing original content, and ad revenue from the internet rising above that of cable television, why do they want to be on the dying medium that is television? |

| If they tried that they would have looked like such a such a bigger joke if their iPPVs were fucked up like Ring of Honor's.
I think they should do more in terms of online content. I tried to see if there was any way I could buy their pay per views online since I couldn't watch pay per views at the mine. And well you can't. And now out of the top three promotions in America TNA is the only one where you can't buy their pay per views online. But that makes since because they're getting dryer and dryer on money and doing quality pay per views online costs money. |
