TNA's recent move to Wednesday nights on Spike TV through the end of the year does not mean the company is staying with the network.
In fact, the latest speculation suggests that there are no serious negotiations between TNA and Spike which could mean TNA will be gone from the network by the end of the year.
Spike decided to air a mini-marathon of Cops on Thursday night, in Impact Wrestling's old timeslot. The show drew more ad revenue from old episodes of Cops than they do with pro wrestling at a lower cost. |

| ^ that is true TJ, good you are learning. Wrestling is in a dark period right now. It goes in cycles of highs and lows all the time. In a few years if a company wises up and gets with the times it will become popular again. |

| The way you keep acting you are making it seem like in 10 years from now Pro wrestling won't be around anymore. No Indy shows, NO WWE, No companies outside of the USA. |

| That's not what I meant at all. There'll always be new indies, it's in good shape in Japan, I only meant wrestling as the 'institution' it became in the 80s. |

| Wrestling isn't dying. The demographic Impact reaches isn't what advertisers are looking for right now, mostly because advertisers are convinced only poor, low-bro morons watch wrestling.
If people like TJ, the really intelligent people, were less embarrassed to watch wrestling, Impact would do fine with advertisers.

| That does really piss me off when people get scared to admit they watch wrestling. There are millions of people who will proudly admit they watch Honey Boo Boo, duck dynasty, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, The Walking Dead and would admit they use to watch Jersey Shore. There are grown ass men who will proudly wear a fucking My little pony shirt. Yet most wrestling fans are scared to death to admit they watch pro wrestling. |

| According to F4WOnline.com, there is a feeling amongst those backstage in TNA that the company will not remain with SpikeTV when its extension to the end of the year runs out.
As for why, SpikeTV reportedly wants out of the pro wrestling business, and while negotiations are ongoing between TNA and Spike, they aren’t said to be serious and Spike is considering TNA a lame-duck product.
The impression being given is TNA has found a new network to bring Impact to, although it’s not a very big one. SpikeTV is said to be willing to allow TNA to remain on the network, possibly on a week to week basis, until it transitions into the new network after the end of the year. The question keeps getting brought up backstage in TNA how willing SpikeTV will be to work with TNA on transitioning to a new network, so it appears as most believe Spike will be done with the company after the end of the year. |
