As seen and heard earlier this week on WWE Main Event, Michael Cole is now on the WWE Main Event announce team with Byron Saxton. Saxton previously worked the show with Tom Phillips, who has been doing more backstage interviews during Raw.

Tom Phillips is now working Smackdown with JBL and Michael Cole, as seen from last night’s edition of Smackdown. Phillips commented to WWE.com about being on the announce team:

“It was incredible to do that in front of the WWE Universe here in Phoenix. They are loud, they are having a blast. Sitting out there with Michael Cole and JBL, they’re pretty intense, but it was fun, man. I was a little nervous, but it was fun.”
