Former WWE Champion John Cena underwent surgery earlier this morning with Dr. James Andrews to repair a partial triceps tear. Cena commented on the surgery, writing on Twitter, "Surgery went very well, Dr Andrews has more than done his part, now I will do mine. #playitclean #roadbackisnow @WWEUniverse @ESPN @eonline"

He also commented on his farewell on Monday's Raw, "Bit of a rough crowd for a farewell address, but I would have it no other way. I will miss @WWEUniverse I love ALL you guys see u soon!"

At this point I think a lot of fans boo as a sign of endearment. Sure, there are legit Cena haters in every crowd, but as much as he talks about loving the mixed reaction I think some of it is playful.

I think Cena earned a lot of respect for putting on a great match hurt, and putting over a guy like Daniel Bryan clean at the same time. Even the haters have to tip their hat at that.
