The Expendables 3 hits screens this week, and when Hale Ceasar himself – Terry Crews – came to visit IGN’s London office, we asked him about the future of the franchise.

Crews kicked off by saying he’d like to do a Bond-style Expendables in which the guys get to wear suits. Then he discussed his desire to see a potentially mouth-watering crossover for fans of celluloid testosterone.

“Let's mix the Fast and the Furious franchise and put them together with the Expendables and have a mash-up. They did Alien vs. Predator. I have no problem with the guys from The Fast and the Furious meeting up with The Expendables. That would be killer!"

Of course any kind of crossover would have to get around the fact that Jason Statham appears in both series’ – as Lee Christmas in The Expendables and as Ian Shaw in the forthcoming Fast & Furious 7.
