According to a new interview with former WWE Spanish commentator Hugo Savinovich, Rey Mysterio leaving WWE for AAA in Mexico will happen.

He said Rey is looking to work out his contract issues with WWE before he can return to wrestling in Mexico. Savinovich also confirmed recently released wrestler Alberto Del Rio will appear at AAA’s TripleMania event this week.

Mysterio couldnt stay healthy, so WWE did what they thought was best by extending a contract to get back time lost.

Honestly, lots of people should've seen this coming.

I sincerely hope Kallisto is able to keep the market with WWE. I heard RAW gets like 10.3 ratings over there, if that's true, it's a huge bump.

Kalisto is a massive talent. My first thought when I seen him was "That's Rey Misterio Jr..."

Hopefully "leaving for AAA" also includes joint dates with GFW.
