As we have been reporting throughout the week, WWE has shut down the WWE Magazine and WWE Kids divisions of the company, and the last issue of the Magazine will be issued in the fall.

According to The Wrestling Observer, the Magazine has been at a mostly break-even point, or slightly profitable, with sales recently on the steady decline. Gross revenue for the magazine was down $500,000 this quarter compared to last year. That said, WWE is willing to license its name to a publishing company that might want to pick up the magazine, so it’s possible we could see its return in the future.
