As we previously reported, a WWE production truck in the parking lot of The Laredo Energy Center featured a new ad for Smackdown airing on Syfy at 8pm on Thursday nights, leading to speculation that WWE has plans to move the show from its Friday time slot.

According to F4WOnline.com, WWE is in talks to move the show back to Thursday nights, however a final decision has yet to be made. A WWE spokesperson issued the following statement to F4WOnline.com:

“Someone was overzealous in updating our production trucks. The trucks are being fixed to reflect the current and accurate information of Fridays at 8 p.m.”

Lol. But yeah, it would be pretty idiotic to update production trucks when their isn't even a final word if they're going to change the dates.

I still fail to see how this benefits SD!

Going head-to-head with Impact doesn't benefit them...both shows will lose viewership to the other and SD! is already #1 on SyFy every Friday. So why fuck up a good thing, even if it has been boring since forever?

haven't watched Smackdown in 6 months, even if it move I still won't watch it.

Not to mention NXT is on Thursdays as well.

Yeah, add in the NFL and college football run on Thursdays and it is a big question mark...

NXT will move for sure if SD! goes to Thursdays.

And I forgot about sport over there. Impact's ratings can often hurt when that's on, so SD's surely will.

When you bring up all those things, hopefully they'll be smart enough to not make any changes with the days.
