Before Wrestling: Before moving to prowrestling Andre was an accomplishe Muay Thai and kickboxing champ. He then competed in MMA but was banned from it for not stopping after the referee declared the fight done. He was stripped of his titles and kicked out of any MMA organization in the U.S.
Debut to XWA: He was in need of a job and tried out for a spot on XWA and won a match to get an official match.
