Jaylon Brown vs. JHalc Empty
PostSubject: Re: Jaylon Brown vs. JHalc   Jaylon Brown vs. JHalc EmptyThu Aug 22, 2013 2:34 pm

Jhalc is not himself anymore, some believe. Others say he came back so suddenly after such a long time, that he needs some time to get back in his game. Whatever was accurate, we didn’t know, but what we do know now, is that Jhalc has been eliminated from the World Title tournament. Not backed out, not removed by choice, but eliminated. This confused many. However, whatever he still has in himself that he is picking the pieces of, he’ll bring all of it out tonight. And everyone knows it. Though, Jaylon Brown is tied for second place in the tournament, so he must not be taken lightly by the slightest. And if anybody knew that, it was Jhalc.

The Jack of Hearts versus The Huffman. The Huffman versus The Jack of Hearts. Whichever way you look at it, this first ever match-up against these two magnificent faces of the XWA company will shake the ground to the core. While both men give a threatening glare to each other from across the ring, the bell sounds thrice; signaling the beginning of what was sure to be an epic bout. Jhalc, who is not in his best mood tonight, coming off with some serious losses in his previous matches, seems to be radiating confidence. As they begin circling the ring in traditional fashion, the two competitors lock-horns at nearly dead even weight. The struggle is monumental, each man focusing on trying to overpower one another with a grin etched onto their face. No quick transitions here, just raw power as each man tries to get leverage behind them. As evident as it seemed, Jaylon is able to overpower early on, wrapping his arms around the back of Jhalc, transitioning the hold into a Waist Lock. The hold is applied for several seconds until Jay sends consecutive elbows into Brown’s abdomens. This causes Jaylon to release the hold, and while he moves back, Halc is already on the run, running at the side ropes and darting back with some serious speed, extending his arm out, hoping for a Clothesline. However, the Floridian realizes this and evades the move by ducking under the sailing arm above, and when Jay turns around in confusion, The Huffman takes him down with a Clothesline of his own!

Jhalc props back up rather immediately, only to be taken down via a second Clothesline. Once more, he gets to his feet quickly, but this time he's nailed square in the face with a Dropkick that echoes throughout the arena, knocking him onto his back. Fluidly, Jaylon goes for the pin, however the result is only a one and a half. Not letting up on his offense, the Florida native picks up Jay’s head and repeatedly drills his foe in the head with Elbow shots. Though the charismatic Halc halts to the onslaught quickly, taking the unexpected yet clean way out; grabbing Brown’s head with his bare hands and propelling him overhead, all while keeping a grip on him, locking in a Headlock! The clamp-like hold is not gratifying, it’s powerful and strong. The referee comes into play, consistently asking for Brown if he wants to quit, but he knew better that Jaylon never gave up. With that in the former Intercontinental Champion’s mind as well, Brown grabs Jay’s hands and separates them with raw power, then attacks with the back of his bald head against Jhalc’s face, that causes him to break the hold and move back. With the meager seconds he had gained, Jaylon hurriedly recuperates and rolls over, jumping to a vertical base, causing the fans to cheer wildly at his resilience.

Now, both men are at their feet and stare directly at one another. Jaylon and Jhalc circle the ring once more, and they knew better that they’d be here all night if they didn’t exhaust the other opponent soon. With this in mind, both men come forward at the same time and lock horns for the second time tonight, however there is barely any time put into it before Jhalc backs out, not by fear, but by choice. Halc moves back further, and as he expected, Brown dashed forward instead. The Prominent Persona is in for a surprise, as the Jack of Hearts ducks under the rising boot of his opponent, and runs directly at the side ropes. While Jaylon is turning around in sudden confusion, Halc is darting back with tremendous speed, leaping in the air and splashing on top of Brown with a beautiful Diving Crossbody! The crowd is excited, but to a limit, there are more jeers than cheers, of course. However, Jay hasn’t stopped there, and people can’t tell much about what he’s going to do next. He gets up, and runs at the side ropes, however, he doesn’t rebound, yet he leaps onto the second rope, pushes himself back mid-air in a flip, and splatters himself on top of Brown with his signature Lionsault maneuver! The resounding ‘SMACK’ that is heard throughout the arena from the move assures people that Jaylon is done for, though they figured they were speaking too soon. As Jay hooks his opponent’s leg, hoping his big move had done the trick, it irritates him as Brown picks his free shoulder up at two and a half!

Jay, having never tested Jaylon Brown’s intensity and perseverance before, is surprised to see how much charisma the young man holds. The Florida native slowly starts to reach a footed base, not noticing that Jhalc was right behind, crouching against the corner. As The Huffman turns around, he spots the oncoming Jay, and simply side-steps to the right. Though, Halc briskly halts as he notices he’s missed his target with whatever he had planned to execute. However, Jaylon gains the advantage here, but he doesn’t go for anything big, just a rigid European Uppercut that even the audience could feel the pain of! Two more follow, and Brown looks poised to do whatever he wants, seeing as the former World Champion has become completely dazed at this point, and would fall any second. Though his stamina must not be tested, as Jhalc is clearly a man fighting agony every step of the way in the ring tonight, and he will continue until he is successful. When Brown is going for his final uppercut, making sure this one will be delivered with extra strength in order to have his opponent fall, The Jack of Hearts surprisingly grabs a hold of Jaylon’s arm! He quickly sends a hard kick to Jaylon’s mid-section, and starts punching away at his face! This time, when Brown is almost completely dazed, Halc rushes in for the kill, running at the ropes and rebounding back to dive once again, however, Brown suddenly captures Jay’s throat by his bare hand, lifts him high in the air, and slams him down with his great Lifting Side Slam finisher, The One Hit Wonder! This happens so fast that the crowd doesn’t know when to begin cheering, but they don’t yell at the top of their lungs until Brown hooks the legs of the downed Jhalc. One.. two.. three!

Man, I had to force myself to finish this. I just could not write this match, but whatever I could do for it, I did. Sorry; this is not my best.

Jaylon Brown vs. JHalc Empty
PostSubject: Re: Jaylon Brown vs. JHalc   Jaylon Brown vs. JHalc EmptySat Aug 24, 2013 11:08 pm

Bell sounds.

The referee steps out of the middle of the ring, and allows the two men to finally come face to face. Jay takes two quick steps forward and causes Jaylon to flinch in reaction. That was all Jay was looking for, as he backtracks away and the two start to circle the ring, Jaylon with a scowl on his face and Jay with a smile. The two nearly make it a full circle around the ring before Jaylon raises his arms and JHalc meets him in the center for a lock-up. Jaylon quickly outmatches JHalc and forces him back towards a corner. JHalc plants his foot behind himself and gives one final push forward to avoid being slammed into the turnbuckle but Jaylon instead doubles him over with a kick just above the belt. JHalc stumbles back towards the ropes, and now it is Jaylon with a smile on his face while JHalc is left grimacing. The referee goes to step in between the two while JHalc is in the corner, but he gets batted away by JHalc, as he rushes into another lock up. Jaylon is caught off guard at first and has to give up a few steps. Instead of trying to stand his ground, Jaylon turns on his heel and swings JHalc around with him, putting his opponent's back into the ropes. JHalc calls for a break, knowing that the referee will bail him out of the bad position, but Jaylon backs off with his hands raised into the air without needing to be told. JHalc immediately rushes forward and throws his shoulder into his adversary, trying to knock him off balance, but the collision results in a stalemate. The two lock eyes for a moment, and seem to come to some sort of agreement, they then take off in opposite directions, each of them rebounding off the ropes, and coming together in the middle of the ring. Jaylon throws his shoulders towards JHalc, but the smaller man has a different plan, leaping into the air and throwing his feet at Jaylon. The two impact hard, this time with Jaylon taking the full force of the dropkick and falling hard to his back while JHalc lands somewhat gracefully at his side. Jaylon turns away and pushes himself up off the mat, but when he gets to his feet JHalc is waiting with a series of chops to the chest that force Jaylon against the turnbuckle. Jaylon feels his back hit the turnbuckles and snaps back to life, ducking the next chop and stepping behind JHalc. The Jack of Hearts turns, only to get another stiff kick just above the belt. Jaylon grabs JHalc by the head and lifts him up so that he is sitting on the top turnbuckle. JHalc fights back with a right hand into Brown's ribs and then kicks off the turnbuckles as hard as he can. Jaylon finds himself spiked head first into the canvas with a tornado DDT. JHalc scrambles to hook the far leg for the cover.

1!

2!

Kickout almost before 2!

Dennis:
JHalc seems to have surprised Jaylon with that counter out of the corner.

Cedar:
However, it was too soon, and not enough for the pin. Too much fight in these two to see a quick finish.

Dennis:
I don't know, with how JHalc has been performing lately, I wouldn't rule out a quick loss.

JHalc scrambles back to his feet and Jaylon moves back towards the corner for help in getting back to his feet while trying to shake the stars from his vision. JHalc backs away from him, sizing Jaylon up as he rises to his feet. The crowd starts to come to life, wanting to see some vintage JHalc offense, but as JHalc starts to run towards the corner, Jaylon moves out of the way, letting JHalc smash his shoulder into the top turnbuckle, while seating himself on the second rope. Jaylon isn't content to just let his opponent sit there though. A viciously thrown haymaker nails JHalc across the brow as he turns to swing his legs back into the ring. Before JHalc can lift his right leg back over the turnbuckle, Jaylon follows the first shot with a second closed fist that lands on the jaw this time. Now that JHalc is the one seeing stars, Jaylon backs up and takes his shot at sizing up the prey in the corner. He backs up nearly to the center of the ring and surges forward hitting a running boot to the face that JHalc didn't even see coming. The smaller man almost falls down into the corner, but Jaylon lifts him, making sure that JHalc stays on his feet, at least momentarily. He backs away from the corner once JHalc finds sure footing, and then runs forward again. Whether by having his eye on the ball, or shear dumb luck JHalc falls down in the corner, and Jaylon's boot doesn't find its mark. Instead, the larger man has his leg hung over the top rope and hooked under the middle rope. Jaylon starts to fight to free himself, and the refereeing tries to step in to help, but JHalc pops up out of the corner, and shoves the referee clear out of the way before turning back towards his defenseless opponent. JHalc gets two running steps in before landing a dropkick the planted leg sending Jaylon off balance and hanging from the top rope. JHalc hops up and stays on the attack beating on the leg that is hung on the top rope with left and right hands before the referee finally manages to pull him off and push him away.

Dennis:
That was a particularly vicious assault by JHalc. This guy becomes more unstable every week.

Cedar:
He hasn't been himself since coming back, and clearly losing is also taking its toll.

Jaylon's boot finally comes unhooked from the middle rope and he falls flat to his back. JHalc again tries to maneuver the referee out of the way, but this time he gets a face full of screaming from the smallest man in the ring. JHalc turns his head away from the official, and looks at Jaylon, ignoring the lecture he is getting. JHalc looks from Jaylon, and then to the turnbuckle, and then shoves his way out of his scolding, leaping across the downed body of his opponent and then hopping up to the second turnbuckle Jay gets his balance enough to bounce from the middle turnbuckle up to the top, and then springboards backwards with a moonsault. Jaylon has his eyes open, and the move scouted, and raises the boot of his good leg into the air towards JHalc's face as he comes down. The Jack of Hearts sees his demise coming a second before it is too late, and adjusts his trajectory, landing on his feet and stopping his face just inches from smacking against the outstretched boot. The light fades from Jaylon's eyes, and he finds himself at the mercy of his opponent, who has none for him. JHalc grabs the boot with both hands, and wrenches the ankle, turning Jaylon over onto his stomach and sinking in an ankle lock. Jaylon reaches out and finds the bottom rope within his reach, but as he goes for it JHalc falls to the mat, and grapevines his leg. In doing so, he pulls backwards just enough to put the ropes temporarily out of reach. The official moves in between Jaylon and the ropes, but before he can even ask, Jaylon stretches out and finds the rope with the tips of his fingers, and then gets his fingers around it.

Cedar:
Good counter but JHalc has to break the hold!

The referee turns from Jaylon and to JHalc, telling him to release the hold, but getting neither a response nor compliance.

Dennis:
I don't think JHalc and the referee are going to see eye to eye on that fact.

The referee tries to wrench JHalc's arms off, but finds himself having to resort to his five count instead.

1!

In Jaylon's opinion, the count comes way too slow. With the pressure that is on his ankle each second feels like an hour unto itself.

2!

Jaylon fights back a scream just like Jay tries to fight back a laugh.

3!

The referee thinks to stop the count and immediately disqualify JHalc but knows that wouldn't be the right way.

4!

JHalc breaks the hold, and holds his hands up in the air like he had done nothing wrong. Jaylon pulls his heel away, and pulls himself under the bottom rope, but the damage has clearly been done.

Cedar:
JHalc used every damn second that he could. Has he no respect for the rules?

Dennis:
I don't think he has respect for much of anything anymore.

Jaylon keeps as much weight as he can off of his foot, and hops up onto his good foot on the apron. JHalc rushes before Jaylon can all the way up, not wanting to give him any time to stall the momentum JHalc has built. JHalc runs to the corner that Jaylon is facing, and leaps off of the adjacent ropes, springboarding back towards his opponent while stretching out like he is looking for a crossbody. Jaylon spots him in the air and drops down off the apron, and to the floor on the outside. JHalc gets nothing but air, and plummets towards the apron, smacking his face off of it before dropping to his knees on the arena floor.

Cedar:
That one's going to be hard to just shrug off.

JHalc lifts his head and the camera catches him spit blood out onto the floor. He tries to stand up, and Jaylon grabs him by the back of the neck. The bigger man is only on one foot, but that doesn't stop him from grabbing JHalc by the waist of his pants and whipping him head first into the barricade as the show starts to fade to a commercial break.

Dennis:
Something tells me that one might be just as hard to shrug off

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Commercial breaks are great....

…but David Michaels don't take no shit from Mack.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The feed comes back from commercial and Jaylon has JHalc down near the middle of the ring. The fans seem to be on his side, and are up and active about how he has taken control of the match during the break. He takes a hobbled step forwards, still feeling the pain shoot up his leg, and reaches down to pick JHalc up by the head. The smaller man snaps to life, grabbing Jaylon by the wrist and then sliding around to hook Jaylon's bad leg and rolling him over with a surprise inside cradle.

1!

2!

Kickout just after two!

Cedar:
Signs of life from JHalc after he got dominated during the break.

Dennis:
The damage has been done to Jaylon's leg though, and JHalc can pick up on that in the blink of an eye.

The two shove each other away, and then turn to get back up to their feet. JHalc wipes blood away from his mouth, and Jaylon has slight difficulty planting his bad foot on the mat. The half second distraction let's JHalc have the upper hand and he whips Jaylon into the ropes and then dropkicks the leg out from under him as he rebounds back towards the center. JHalc hooks the bad leg, and covers with a forearm against Jaylon's cheekbone.

1!

2!

Shoulder up!

Cedar:
The Jack of Hearts is cashing in on the damage he got done on that ankle.

JHalc is back up quickly, almost as if he knew Jaylon would kick out, and the pinfall was just a technicality. He lifts Jaylon by the chin and then chops him across the chest with garners a "WOOOOO" from the crowd. JHalc drags Jaylon to his feet, and chops him across the chest again. He grabs him by the wrist as the crowd chants again, JHalc pulls back as hard as he can and whips Jaylon from the ground and into as much of a sprint as a one legged man can get into. JHalc lets go of Jaylon's wrist, but finds the bigger man hasn't let go of his own grip. Jaylon whips around to face JHalc and pulls him in before lifting him up into the air and powering him down with the Backbiter spinebuster. Jaylon falls into the cover as the crowd rallies behind him.

1!

2!

Kickout right at 2!

Cedar:
I thought it was over!

Dennis:
I bet JHalc feels like he just got hit by a truck.

Jaylon drags him up and whips him towards the ropes. JHalc hooks the ropes with his arms to stop his momentum and then ducks under the bottom rope and sits down on the middle rope so the referee breaks up the action and gives him a moment to compose himself. Jaylon tries to push past the referee and Jay uses the distraction to step out onto the apron and up the turnbuckle. Jaylon catches him in the act and rushes up for the superplex but JHalc shoves him down. Jaylon lands funny on the bad leg and hobbles back a bit. JHalc stands up on the top rope and then leaps, hoping to catch Jaylon off guard, but falls right into the Disaster Piece bicycle kick.

Cedar:
HOLY SHIT WHAT AN IMPACT!

The fans are up and find some kind of higher level of excitement as the whole arena feels like it is vibrating from all the noise.

1!

2!

Shoulder barely up before three!

Dennis:
It turns out Jay is still alive after all.

Jaylon pushes himself up and with his good leg stomps on JHalc. JHalc tries to rolls away, but when he gets to his knees, Jaylon sends a boot to the side of his head even though the kickback on his ankle sends a flare up his leg. Jaylon steps forward and grabs Jhalc with a front face lock and hooks his arm up before taking him up and over stalling suplex. Jaylon floats over and hooks JHalc's leg once again.

1!

2!

Shoulder barely up before three!

Cedar:
JHalc stays in this thing by nanoseconds.

Jaylon with the big knee into the back of JHalc and puts him in the chin lock. Jay gets to his feet and chops Jaylon. Jaylon and JHalc trade chops and punches. Whip, JHalc goes for a dropkick, but Jaylon avoids and stomps on JHalc's head. Jaylon  with another stomp to the back of the head for a two count as he tries to get up and then falls into the pin attempt.

1!

2!

Strong kickout just before three!

Jaylon  with a snapmare followed by a kick to the back. Headlock applied. JHalc gets to his feet. Jaylon  with headbutts. He whips JHalc chest first into the turnbuckle. Jaylon  with punches to the back of the head. He sets JHalc on the turnbuckle. He climbs up and goes for a high risk move, but JHalc climbs up and cuts him off with an elbow to the face. Jaylon, shoves JHalc off, and then jumps down himself. Jaylon  goes for a clothesline, but JHalc ducks and lands chops. Jay runs to the ropes and springboards off. JHalc with a flying forearm. He grabs Jaylon  and tries for a suplex, but gets blocked. Jaylon goes for the One Hit Wonder (rock bottom) and JHalc elbows his way out.  JHalc and Jaylon  get up. Jaylon  kicks JHalc in the gut and puts him at the turnbuckle. He runs and JHalc side steps ducks again, and again Jaylon is hung up on the top rope.  Jay goes behind and chop blocks the leg but holds Jaylon up. Jaylon tries to get unhooked and Jay chop blocks it again. The referee pulls Jay away, and helps Jaylon get unhooked. Jaylon turns around into the Flying Triangle. Tries to fight out but his leg buckles. He tries to lift and powerbomb Jay, but he can't stand on the leg. Taps out.
Bell sounds.
