- According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the decision to keep Cesaro a heel and cool off on him a bit has been somewhat of an intentional decision. While Cesaro was planned to get a major babyface push late in the summer, it was decided that it would be best to focus on Roman Reigns primarily in order to establish him as a main eventer.

There is still a plan to turn Cesaro face and push him, though it is said to be a "when we need it" situation, after Reigns is fully established and they're looking for another rising star.

This actually makes sense to me. Part of the reason I am so skeptical of KENTA getting a huge push is because he'll need to work a style very similar to Bryan's and I think that's potentially too much of one thing for the WWE.

Both Reigns and Cesaro can be mega stars... both have an insane amount of talent and both can be huge.

If Creative wasn't so stupid it would be easy to make both Cesaro and Reigns big stars. Hell a lot of the guys could be big stars. Not Main eventers, but big stars still.

Cesaro acts like a goof half the time. Reigns acts legit.

That's because of how Cesaro has been booked over the last year. Reigns has a LOT of work to do when it comes to his mic ability and his in ring work is subpar right now. Cesaro is the complete package.

Cesaro is FAR from the complete package. His look is boring, his mic skills are worse than Reigns imo and his music doesn't even fit him. None of that has changed at all since he joined the WWE, either. His in ring skills are more than solid, though.

Reigns looks legit, acts legit, his in rings skills are obviously solid and is believable as a WWE Superstar.

He's a samoan in swat gear, of COURSE he looks legit. That's all he has going for him right now, his look. When he stops wrestling in tag and multi man matches on a constant basis then we can take a look at his true potential.

But seriously, I don't like Reigns current attire...well, I like his new tights/pants (whatever you call them) as they look a little more relaxed rather than Police like, but his upper vest thing I don't like. Still better than the one he wore in the Shield, but I think he needs something else...a little Badass Taker or Diesel like. Or something similar Sting wore at the very beginning of the Crow deal.

So he'd keep the baggy trousers and just something more fitting on the upper portion of his body. It's actually refreshing seeing stars not wearing regular tights tbh.

I agree with you Chilly. That's actually what Maddox Paine wears. I don't like the bulletproof vest, never made sense to me. Something like Sting/Undertaker would suit him perfectly, as long as he keeps the cargo pants.

Also, Reigns is not sub-par in the ring. He is great in the ring.

Reigns is excellent at execution. While he doesn't have too many moves, his execution of those moves is excellent. His spear is one of - if not the - best spears ever, his superman punch is awesome, his basement dropkick is awesome, the way he hits lariats is awesome, the way he brawls is great, and etc. He is excellent at executing moves, he just needs to add more to his list.

His spear is better than Edge's but not as good as Goldberg's, and I hated Goldberg.

The superman punch looks awesome though. 5 Knuckle Shuffle - although I like the set up and the entire thing behind it - looks really weak.

Reigns always looks small for a Samoan to me. Though that might be because I'm used to rugby and those Samoans are fucking huge...

More than adding moves to his list (which I agree he could use a few more staples), the real test for Reigns will be his ring psychology and how he incorporates those moves. He hasn't really had a huge one-on-one match yet, so we'll have to wait and see how he operates on that level. Right now he's used to being one of several guys (multi-man matches like MITB or the upcoming Fatal Four Way) or in six-man tags. In these matches he can just come in at the right time and hit an awesome-looking move for a spot. That won't work when he's a top guy, but I'm sure that if he can't already perform at that level he has the capacity to learn. Working with guys like Cena and Orton will do a lot to help him in that regard.

Goldberg's Spear is the best one ever. Period. Everyone else does almost like a Clothesline to the mid section or approaches it from the wrong angle (ala Batista. His look SOOO weak).

Goldberg just smashed the living fuck out of his opponent's head on...so much so he knocked himself out at least once doing it.
