A bookmaker has suspended bets on Harry Styles leaving One Direction to pursue a solo career. This comes after a flurry of bets were placed on the singer leaving the world’s biggest boyband over the weekend.
The bookmaker, Coral, was forced to suspend betting after a large number of punters bet on the Harry leaving the band. Styles had previously been considered the favourite to be the first to leave the band.
It also emerged over the weekend that Harry has set up his own company, HSA Publishing Ltd. This has added further fuel to the split rumours, as Harry is the owner of this company along with accountant Alan McEvoy, and this company would likely be used to financially separate Harry’s solo efforts from 1D as a band.
The star is also said to have been spotted visiting recording studios in London on his own in recent weeks. Styles has also taken to travelling separately to his 1D band mates when on tour, and was said to be furious at the antics of band mates Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson in the recent ‘spliff’ video. Kodaline star Steve Garrigan also told Digital Spy lately that the band had worked informally with Styles on a track which may appear on a forthcoming solo album.
