There was talk within WWE about possibly working out something to involve Ronda Rousey at SummerSlam. Ronda is a huge WWE fan and has shown interest in doing something with the company. Unfortunately Rousey will be a “no-go” for SummerSlam. The reason being is that Dana White doesn’t want any UFC fighters to appear on WWE programming because he doesn’t want to bring the stigma of pre-determined pro wrestling into the world of UFC. He had the same stance with Brock Lesnar when Brock was under contract to UFC and has said the same thing about Kurt Angle when Angle showed interest in fighting for UFC.

Also, Rousey wanted to get her whole group the Four Horsewomen on TV but WWE only showed interest in her.
