| PWInsider.com has provided the following updates from last night's TNA NYC tapings:
-TNA reportedly really liked The Manhattan Center and the atmosphere surrounding the building.
-Abyss and Samoa Joe were backstage but were not used.
-The show was not sold out, despite previous claims. There were about 550-650 fans in attendance.
-The 6 sided ring was a new purchase for TNA, as the old 6 sided rings were converted into traditional 4 sided rings.
-Mike Tenay and Taz were not at the tapings, as they will be doing commentary in post-production.
-TNA is reportedly using less backstage segments and trying to focus more on what's happening in front of the live crowd. |

That's good to hear. It's really TNA should have been doing all along. And it's official. ROH draws a bigger crowd in New York than TNA ____________________ |

| Actual accounts from people there says it was more in the region of 800 - 1000 fans. Either way, I'd imagine selling tickets for the same place three days in a row rather tricky really. |

| Yeah I thought the shows were going to be separated by a month. Not a day or two. Taping shows like this hurt ROH and they stopped doing it last year.
But TNA is doing it the other way around. They're having their smaller show first and then having Destination X afterwords. We'll see how that works out for them. ____________________ |

| Yeah. It's better than how they were doing it last year, though, I think. I know I prefer it when a show is live as it always more fun, but if they just did it in blocks like this in smaller arenas for a while, it'd surely only be a good thing for them. They had to get back out of that damn Impact Zone - the life in that place is well and truly gone.
Plus they appeared to have actually advertised this time around too. I imagine at the next set of tapings there in August, a No Surrender TV special will be wedged in the middle of them before the run in for Bound for Glory. |
