Night In The Woods is coming to PlayStation 4, it has been confirmed.

Developed by Infinite Fall, the adventure-platformer focuses on story, character and place.

"Night In The Woods is a story about letting go and holding on," animator Scott Benson said on the PlayStation Blog.

"We wanted to create something that got into some ideas that were kicking around in our heads, themes that hopefully resonate with a lot of people."

Set in the crumbling town of Possum Spring, the game revolves around a cat named Mae, who returns home after dropping out of college to reclaim her teenage life.

Night In The Woods started as a Kickstarter project in 2013 and was fully funded in less than 26 hours.
