A second trailer for forthcoming sci-fi thriller The Giver has been unveiled.
The film is based on Lois Lowry's young adult novel, and is being directed by Phillip Noyce (Patriot Games).
The film centres around Jonas (Brenton Thwaites), a young man who lives in a peaceful but colourless world.
When Jonas is selected as the Receiver of Memory by the elder (Jeff Bridges) who stores the secret history of his world, he learns the price that his society has paid for its dystopian state.
The Giver will hit US cinemas on August 15.
A UK release date has yet to be announced for the Lowry adaptation.
