The Fault in Our Stars has made Fandango movie chart history.

The highly-anticipated romance adaptation is breaking pre-ticket sale records ahead of its weekend debut in the US.

Fault in our Stars has already out-paced all three previous Nicholas Sparks adaptations, The Vow, Safe Haven and Dear John, Variety reports.

Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort star in the film as two teens involved in an epic love story, after they meet at a cancer support group.

The film has also found success on YouTube as the most liked trailer.

The Fault in Our Stars opens in the US on June 6 and in the UK on June 19.

When I first saw picture of this on Twitter, I thought it was about a group of disney celebrities.

Fuck this teen angst movie when it blows up on the internet and when people hop on the TFIOS bandwagon.

My friends went to the Thursday night premier for this, they said the entire theater room was literally weeping during the entire movie.
