PWInsider.com is reporting WWE now has the goal of getting SmackDown up to par with WWE.

The current deal with Syfy expires next month and it's expected a new deal will be signed. There is talk of more focus being put on SmackDown to make the quality of the programming better as well as considering expanding it to three hours to feature more stories.

I love the idea of making SD! competitive again, maybe this will lead back to the brand split, however I don't think it should be 3 hours. If anything, make RAW 2 hours again. Make them even that way.

You dont expand the time of the show to make it better, you improve the WRITING of said show to make it better

Exactly. For WWE, extending their show another hour means more last-minute changes, match nixing, etc.

wow three hours of a show they stopped caring about years ago. Unless this means the brand thing is getting life again, this is just stupid

Brand split is over, has been for a year now
