| Subject: X-Men: Days of Future Past could have starred Cable, Jubilee Tue Jun 03, 2014 1:12 pm | |
| Cable and Jubilee were considered for X-Men: Days of Future Past.
The two long-standing members of the mutant team were in line to appear in 20th Century Fox's film at various stages.
Early on, when Matthew Vaughn was still attached to direct the movie, Cable and Bishop were considered for the main time-travelling role that eventual went to Hugh Jackman's Wolverine.
"Initially, we explored the notion of Bishop being sent back, Cable being sent back, a new character being sent back, who we could cast old and then sort of cast in the prominent part of his life as a new young actor," producer Simon Kinberg told Empire.
Two designs for Jubilee by costume illustrator Phillip Boutte Jr have also been posted on Concept Art World.
Bishop remained in the movie in a smaller role, portrayed by Omar Sy.
Bryan Singer's X-Men: Days of Future Past - which stars Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Nicholas Hoult, Evan Peters and Peter Dinklage - is screening in cinemas now. |
