Microsoft has announced the sequel to 2012’s Forza Horizon. The title, which will be coming from Microsoft and Playground, is slated for Xbox One and Xbox 360 this fall.
IGN has the reveal and says that the title will have players racing across southern Europe (and not the American south as concept art previously led us to believe). More details will be revealed later this month.
Update: Sumo Digital, the studio behind Sonic & All-Stars Racing and Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed is handling development of the Xbox 360 version. The Xbox One version will be built on the Forza Motorsport 5 engine. The Xbox 360 edition will use the Forza Horizon framework.
