Bellator Fighting and TNA star Quinton Rampage Jackson was fined $10,000 by the Mississippi Athletic Commission for his behavior during the weigh-ins for the Bellator 120 event this past weekend.

For those unaware, when Jackson and his opponent Muhammed Lawal were placed face-to-face, Quinton Jackson's shove of King Mo at the weigh-ins on Friday may have hyped the crowd and been done for dramatic flair, however, the incident cost Jackson $10,000 and nearly cost him his chance to compete on the card.

And Rampage, at least, was in TNA for a little bit in the MEM...but it was incredibly stupid no matter what. The fact TNA clearly are still holding onto this pisses me off.

The whole "bringing MMA to TNA" thing was a joke to begin with. What ACTUAL fighter wants to do kayfabe shit, 'specially in a company like TNA, which has the lamest story lines in wrestling history, a boss who knows nothing about wrestling aside from knowing somewhat of who Hulk Hogan was and abysmal financial planning?

Bellator wanted them two/three to be on TV as much as possible to promote their stupid shit, so they made TNA make Ortiz and Rampage into a big deal. It wasn't until it looked utterly ridiculous on Impact did they pull the plug.

Plus I'm certain Spike/Bellator watched Lesnar in the WWE and went "yeah, we can do that" and proceed to fail miserably with it.
