ME | Hitman Alex vs. The Pirate Empty
PostSubject: Re: ME | Hitman Alex vs. The Pirate   ME | Hitman Alex vs. The Pirate EmptySat May 24, 2014 9:04 pm

...The World Heavyweight Champion takes off his belt and slowly hands it to the referee. The crowd rains boos upon him as he turns his nose up to the entranceway. All night, the main event had simply been advertised as "Hitman Alex in action!", without naming his opponent. As strange as that may be, Alex wasn't worried. He'd just won the belt last night; he was on top of the world. Nobody could touch him now, or so he thought. A cocky scowl crosses his face as his theme music fades out. The crowd goes quiet as they await his opponent. But none of them expected who exactly it was...

"I've been away...searchin' for a reason..."

*BZZT*

A huge roar arises...

"What?! WHAT?!"

"What the fuck is this shit?"

All of a sudden, a swashbuckling tune begins to play, and a man wearing a cheesy 17th century pirate getup, eyepatch and all, emerges from behind the curtain and starts jogging down the ramp, high-fiving fans along the way. As the crowd realizes what's going on, they begin to cheer even louder. Hitman Alex's jaw is on the mat, and the announcers stumble around this strange development.

"Th-that---that's Lawson! That's Tyler Fucking Lawson!"

"Is it?"

"...and his opponent: From the High Seas; weighing in at two hundred forty one pounds....THE PIIIIRAAATTE!!"

"THE WHAT?"

"They've lost their minds! They've all lost their fucking minds! Damn them all to hell!"

The Pirate dives into the ring under the bottom rope and springs to his feet, glaring at the world champion who is still taken aback. As Alex actually rubs his eyes to make sure he's not hallucinating, Pirate gets up onto the middle rope and motions to his left side with his right arm, pulling out an imaginary sword and raising his fist to the sky. The crowd roars with excitement, and Hitman Alex just shakes his head. As Pirate sheathes his invisible sword, he jumps off the ropes and back into the middle of the ring, rolling his shoulders and hopping back and forth on his feet. Alex, accepting the fact that he's gotta fight this weirdo, steps forward toward him, and after Pirate removes his hat and eyepatch, the referee quickly calls for the bell.

DING DING DING!!!

Alex extends his arms up and forward for a lockup, as Pirate continues bouncing. However, instead of obliging, like one would expect Tyler Lawson to normally do, he lunges forward through his opponent's outstretched arms and nails the world champion in the forehead with a hard right hand. Alex jerks back, shocked. Wide-eyedly staring at his opponent, he accepts that Pirate wants a brawl, and swings hard back at him. Pirate immediately ducks under it, and after circling around the Hitman, nails him again with an hard elbow shot to the back of the head. Alex goes stumbling into the corner, and by the time he turns around, is now fuming mad. He angrily steps forward and throws a punch...but it is blocked by The Pirate, who then launches one of his own...which itself is blocked. With both arms of both competitors preoccupied, Pirate, thinking fast, jumps forward and kicks Hitman Alex in the stomach, doubling the champ over. Pirate quickly backs him into the corner and throws off an Irish Whip across the ring. After Alex hits the turnbuckles and starts to stumble back out to the center of the ring, Pirate swings around and connects with a huge back elbow to the jaw. Alex's head snaps back, but he falls forward, landing right on his opponent's shoulders as Pirate lifts him up and drives him back onto the mat with a Samoan Drop. Quickly following up, the swashbuckler rolls over and hooks Alex's leg for the first pin attempt of the match...one..and Alex kicks out quickly.

"And this...Pirate, here, seems to be getting the best of our new world champion here in the early going."

"I think the more pressing issue here is why the hell Tyler Lawson is here dressed like a pirate after disappearing on us after XtremeMania!"

As Ted Cedar ignores Joey Miles, The Pirate gets off of Alex and stands back up, reaching down to grab his opponent. After pulling him to the middle of the ring, Pirate gives a hard stomp to the forehead before pulling the champ up to his knees. As he holds Alex by the jaw, Pirate raises his fist in the air and lets out a loud "ARR!", bringing the crowd back to a roar. After this, he pulls the Hitman back to his feet before forcably jerking Alex's legs into the air and depositing him onto his own knee with a Tilt-A-Whirl Backbreaker. The fans begin a very loud "Pirate! Pirate!" chant, clearly enjoying this match a hell of a lot. After chuckling to himself for a bit, Pirate shoves Alex off onto the mat and falls back on top of him for another cover...one...tw-but Alex powers out again. Mr COA arches his back a little in pain from the impact as Pirate gets back up and ponders his next move. After dusting off his shoulders and cracking his neck, The Pirate has an idea, and sizes up the Hitman as he climbs back up to his feet. After he's up, Pirate throws another kick, doubling his opponent back over again, and then applies a Front Facelock. The crowd goes nuts, assuming this is about to lead to the Toxic Spike they've seen out of Lawson time and time again. Contrary to their hopes, however, as The Pirate lifts Hitman Alex up, the champion counters in midair, throwing his weight and dropping behind his opponent, clutching Pirate around the head. Quickly, Alex falls back, driving his opponent's head into the mat with an Inverted DDT. Both men fall limp after the impact, struggling to get up.

"And a great counter by Hitman Alex. If he wants to get the upper hand in this match, that's surely a good way."

"But considering the fuckin hellacious match he went through last night, he's STILL at a disadvantage against Lawson."

"...Pirate."

"Fuck you."

Hitman Alex is the first to his feet, apparently not feeling as much of an effect from his title match as Joey thinks, and reaches down to grab Pirate, who, while grabbing the back of his head, is also on his way up. Immediately, Alex goes on the offensive, nailing Pirate with a European Uppercut. His head snaps back, and Alex wastes no time in nailing him with another one. Pirate stumbles back into the ropes, and Alex quickly runs off in the opposite direction. After coming off the ropes, Alex charges back across the ring. Pirate steps forward, only to eat a Dropkick right to the face. He drops to the mat as Alex flips over and reaches across for a pin...one...two-Pirate kicks out and quickly rolls under the ropes. Alex puts a leg under him and pushes himself to his feet. He goes over to the ropes as Pirate is pulling himself up, but as he reaches over to grab his opponent, Pirate immediately drives his shoulder into the midsection stunning the champion. As Alex steps back, holding his ribs, Pirate pulls back on the top rope and springs over it. Alex, however, sees this in time and sidesteps the attempted highflying move, using his right arm to throw Pirate with even more force onto the mat. His opponent faceplants on the canvas, the force bouncing him across the ring and back to his knees. As The Pirate holds his own midsection and tries to get back up, Alex hurries over to him. Mr. COA plants his feet in front of his Pirate, wraps him up, and after a second of dramatic tension, throws him backwards with a Belly-To-Belly Suplex.

"And Hitmal Alex is firmly in control now."

"And rightfully so. He's the world fucking champion."

As The Pirate sits up, dazed, Alex pops back up to his feet and heads back over to him. Pirate starts to get up, but Alex is right behind him, and after grabbing him from behind, throws him back again with his Death Note move. Pirate's head looks to smack off the canvas after that one, and he seems to be out of it as Alex rolls over on top of him for the cover...one...two...No! Pirate kicks out at two and a half. Alex looks a little irritated after that near-count, and as he gets up, he has a little back-and-forth with the referee about it. However, it's clearly a lost cause, and he turns his attention back to The Pirate. As his opponent slowly tries to sit up, the Hitman grabs him by the head and powers the larger Pirate back up to his feet. Holding him in a side Headlock, Alex takes his opponent over toward the corner and throws him up against the turnbuckles. Pirate leans forward after the impact, only to be picked up under the arms and thrown back onto the top turnbuckle. With Pirate's arms back over the ropes as his feet hit the ground again, Alex takes the opportunity to grab him by the hair and whack him in the face with a straight right hand. Pirate is woozy, and Alex continues, picking him right back up and putting his legs over the ropes, sitting him down on the turnbuckle. The crowd starts to boo a little as Alex is going for a big move. He climbs up to the middle rope as Pirate stands up.

"And Alex is gonna put him away right here!"

"OH! I don't think so!"

Ted Cedar's reaction was that to Pirate landing a hard punch to the gut of Hitman Alex. The champion recoils, but doesn't fall off the middle rope. Pirate punches him again in the stomach, but he still holds on to the middle rope. One last punch, this time to the head...WHACK...BOOM...and Alex tumbles to the mat as the crowd roars back to life. Pirate gets up and tries to balance on the top as Alex struggles back to his feet. Giving him more time to stand, Pirate once again pulls out his imaginary sword and raises his fist to the air. Once Alex is up, stumbling around where he stands, Pirate leaps off the top rope, driving his knees into Alex's shoulders, his forearms into his head, and just clobbers him with his Flying Pirate move. Upon landing, Pirate nearly flips off of his opponent, and has to slowly crawl back to his writhing opponent in order to hook the leg and make a pin...one...two...Alex kicks out just before three. After the close call, Alex rolls onto his stomach to regroup and Pirate shakes out the cobwebs from his head. Both start to get up, each having taken their fair amount of punishment so far in the match. However, Pirate is tenacious, and has the wherewithal to get behind his opponent and go back on the offensive. He quickly hooks up both of Alex's arms in the Full Nelson, then quickly throws him back, popping the hips beautifully as he executes his High Seas Suplex, bridging at the end for another cover...one...two.but Hitman Alex kicks out once again.

"And The Pirate has actually got the champ right where he wants him."

"Heh, a few new tricks won't be enough for Lawson to keep Alex down."

"Now how are you so sure that that's Lawson, huh?"

"wha-It-Cause it's him! Just fucking look at him!"

Much quicker this time, both men get back up to their feet. Pirate wins this race, however, and as Alex is still regrouping, he grabs the champion's arm and throws it over his shoulder. However, Alex gets out of what would actually have been Pirate's finisher with a well-placed elbow to the top of the head. As Pirate jerks his head back, Alex reaches over with his other hand a deposits his thumb into his opponent's eye. 'He may actually need that eyepatch after that one.' and related commentary ensue as the crowd begins to boo the dirty move. However, it's highly effective, as Alex has a moment to catch his breath as Pirate stumbles around, hands glued to his face. After Pirate comes back to, lets out an angry 'ARR', and charges forward, Alex lunges for him, hoping to catch him with the HKO. Pirate knows full well what's coming next, though, and dives off to the side as quickly as he can, pushing his opponent away from him. Pirate rolls on his back and pops up near the ropes, then bounces off and comes running back toward the Hitman. Mr. COA, after having to catch his balance, sees his opponent throw a clothesline at him, and manages to duck under it at the last second. Pirate, off balance, stumbles forward into the ropes on the other side of the ring, and by the time he gets back, Alex is able to pick him up and plant his larger opponent into the mat with a Sidewalk Slam. He simply stays on top of Pirate, hooking both legs for the pin...one....two..kickout!

"Looked like fuckin' three to me..."

"Well if Alex keeps this up he'll get that three count eventually."

Alex seems to be in agreement with Joey Miles, as he gets up and questions the referee on that 2-count. However, the official isn't gonna give it to him, and insists that Pirate kicked out in time. Still shaking his head, Alex turns back to The Pirate as he sits up, holding the back of his head. It's better inflicting more damage than arguing; even Alex knows that. He reaches down to grab Pirate and pulls him up to his feet. Quickly, he hoists Pirate up and drops him down hard on the mat with a Scoop Slam. As Pirate arches his back in pain, Alex stands over him menacingly. After a few seconds, he lifts his foot up and drops a stomp on Pirate's head. Pirate grabs at his forehead, but his opponent offers little respite be nailing him with another stomp before strolling off across the ring into the corner. As Pirate, still holding his head, struggles back up to his feet, Alex crouches in the corner, waiting patiently for him to get up. He rolls his shoulders in their sockets as Pirate pulls himself up in the opposite corner. The crowd begins chanting again..."Pirate! Pirate!". Pirate gets to his feet and slowly turns around; it's time for Alex to charge. He does, and throws himself at his opponent with a Spear...it misses! The Pirate sidesteps out of the way just in time. Hitman Alex goes shoulder-first into the ringpost, and the crowd roars in approval. Mr. COA stumbles backward out of the corner, clutching his right shoulder in agony, and then falls flat on his stomach as Pirate is on one knee in the middle of the ring, catching his breath.

"And Alex could very well have ended it there. Huge missed opportunity."

"Speaking of missed opportunities, Butt Pirate's too busy just sitting there to do anything about it. What a bitch."

As the show hits the top of the hour and we head into the overlap, it appears that this match has taken a lot out of both men, and we could see a decision at any time. Pirate gets back to his feet, still a little groggy, but begins to head over to his opponent. Meanwhile, the referee is checking on Hitman Alex, making sure he can continue. The champion waves him off, favoring the shoulder, but still making an attempt to get back to his feet. However, this attempt is for naught, as Pirate reaches him first. The larger man grabs his opponent and pulls him to his feet before turning around and putting him in another Front Facelock. Alex, knowing that the ref is still behind him in the corner, thinks fast and avoids the imminent Suplex, placing his hand on Pirate's back and pushing him off. Twisting with all his might, the Hitman sends his opponent off into the corner toward the referee...but Pirate manages to get his arms up and stop himself before he takes out the official, and Alex's dirty move has failed. It does, however, give him time to regroup, as he catches his breath over in the middle of the ring. Pirate chuckles and dusts off the cowering referee's shirt before turning around...but immediately gets grabbed around the head by Hitman Alex, looking once again for the HKO...No! Pirate pushes him off, and the champion stumbles forward, empty handed. Alex turns around...The Pirate kicks him in the shin! Alex's immediate reaction is to double over, but that's exactly where Pirate wants him to go, as he takes his opponent's head and uses his own momentum to drive him into the mat with a massive DDT.

"Cunning move there by The Pirate!"

"More like a dirty move. What a dirty fucking Butt Pirate!"

As the referee scrambles out of the corner to safety, Pirate slowly uses the ropes to pull himself up as Alex lays limp on the mat. It's a slow task, but Pirate eventually gets back up and reaches down to grab his opponent, who is starting to come to himself. The fans are hot, it's time to end this. After pulling Alex to his feet, The Pirate throws his arm back over the shoulder, and after letting out another 'ARR!' to get the crowd going, he lifts Alex up, shifting position to hook the other arm before driving his opponent's face into the mat in a Full Nelson position. This is his finishing move, the Tidal Wave. Hitman's head smacks off the ring floor, and he is knocked loopy. It's a done deal at this point, and all Pirate has to do is roll Alex over and the pin is counted...one...two...three-Alex kicks out a split second too late! The match is over!

DING DING DING!!!

"No! No! He kicked out! He fucking kicked out!"

"I don't believe it! The Pirate has pinned Hitman Alex!"

"The winner of this match: The PIRATE!!"

The Pirate's music plays as he gets up and celebrates his victory as the crowd goes bonkers at the upset. However, after he gets his hand raised, he leaves the ring after only once getting up on the ropes to celebrate, instead opting to high-five fans on his way up the ramp. After Pirate's hasty exit, Alex slowly recovers, eventually realizing what just happened. He stands up, trembling, quaking in anger. How the hell could he have lost to The Pirate? The referee, still in the ring, checks on the champion, but in a fit of blind rage, Alex lashes out, hitting a vicious HKO on the official. The Hitman gets back up and stands over his limp frame, seething, as the fans boo the crap out of him. The show ends on this, our champion exploding in anger after seeing his momentum...walk the plank.

"And Maddox Paine has got to be loving this, doesn't he?"

"Y'know, I'm surprised Maddox wasn't out here trying to fuck Alex over."

"Well he will be out here next week, as he challenges Hitman Alex for the World Heavyweight Championship...next time on XWA Vendetta. Good night everybody!"

Note; I Prolly won't have time to put in announcers....I hope it doesn't count against my grading.

DING DING DING

Hitman Alex is confused as hell as who he's facing, but he tries to remain focus. The crowd behind his opponent, The Pirate. Both men try to go to lock-up, but The Pirate quickly connects with a Knife Edge Chop, dropping the champ onto one knee. Alex drops to one knee, but quickly gets back up, but The Pirate quickly goes for a Standing Forearm, knocking the champion back down, but this time with his back on the mat. Alex quickly rolls back up, but The Pirate quickly grabs Alex by his arm and Irish Whips him towards the opposite side of the ropes. Alex bounces and returns back to his competitor as he goes for a Back Body Drop, and connects with it. Alex's back arches at he connects with the canvas and quickly rolls outside the ring. The referee tells Alex to get back inside, but Alex ignores him and stays outside. The referee quickly begins his count as the crowd is booing Alex who is just resting outside the ring. The Pirate gets tired of waiting and the referee hasn't even reached his second count, so The Pirate runs to the ropes in front of him as he holds onto the ropes and Springboards onto the top rope to jump outside. Alex turns around and sees The Pirate crashing down onto him as the crowd begin to cheer for him. The referee didn't see him running behind him towards the rope to jump, but the referee has to restart his count. The referee begins to count as The Pirate begins to get back up, while grabbing onto Alex's head picking him back up as well.

The referee yells out for "1" as The Pirate has picked up the champion and turns him towards to the apron only to send his head straight to it. Alex connects face-first against the apron as he drops to his knees while leaning against the apron. The Pirate picks him back up as the referee yells out for "2" as The Pirate sends Alex on the apron once again. Alex's head bounces off and returns to The Pirate's hand as he sends him again. The referee yells out "3" as The Pirate has Alex by his head and drags him away from the apron only to grab him by his arm and Irish Whip him to the Steel Steps, but as he sends the champion Alex counters it. Alex counters the Irish Whip as he sends The Pirate towards the steel steps, disconnecting it from the corner. Alex falls onto his knees as he then places the palm of his hands onto the floor, being on all fours, as he's trying to regain some momentum back. The referee yells "4" follow by "5" as both men are down. Alex starts to get up as he uses the apron to lift himself up. The referee yells out "6" as The Pirate begins to wake up, while Alex begins to slide under the bottom rope to get back inside the ring. The referee yells "7" as The Pirate starts to get back up slowly as the referee yells out "8". Alex begins to slowly get back up on his feet as The Pirate has crawled to the apron. The referee yells out "9" as the crowd thinks The Pirate may not make it, but he quickly jumps upwards over the apron, and slides under the bottom rope to the inside before the referee could make his tenth count.

The crowd gets hyped as The Pirate rolls back up only to find Alex running towards him connecting with a Clothesline. The pirate drops to the mat as the crowd boos, but The Pirate rolls back up having some type of energy rolling through his system. Alex sees that and goes for another Clothesline, knocking him back down. The Pirate turns over and gets back up going for a Clothesline of his own as Alex ducks and The Pirate runs into the ropes. He bounces off and returns to Alex and Alex catches him in a Snap Powerslam. Alex quickly goes for a cover, but The Pirate kicks out quickly right before the referee could even make the first count. Alex is mad as he goes for another count, but once again The Pirate kicks out. Alex gets up as he grabs The Pirate back up as well, but The Pirate fights back. The Pirate connecting with some right and left punches, trying to fight back. The Pirate quickly runs to the ropes behind him as he returns towards Alex, but Alex goes for a clothesline. The Pirate somehow seen that happening and ducks and slides right behind him, wrapping his arms over Alex's neck, and picking him up backwards connecting with his signature that he likes to call "High Seas Suplex" also known as "Bridging Dragon Suplex". The crowd cheers as the referee slides next to the bridge cover and begins to count. "One"......"Two"...but Alex kicks out. The crowd are shocked, but Alex begins to roll outside the ring as he steps outside the ring. The crowd begins to boo, but Alex doesn't care. Alex walks over to the timekeeper and demands his title. The referee yells out for one as Alex is taking his title as he holds it with his left hand, and with his right hand he has it placed on the back of his neck. The referee yells out "Two" as Alex walks around the ring and towards the entrance ramp. "3", The Pirate is confused watching this but he quickly knows he's not letting this match end like this. "4", The Pirate quickly runs to the ropes and slides outside the ring. "5", Alex is walking up the entrance ramp, but the Pirate quickly connects with an Elbow to the back of Alex's neck, stopping him from continuing up. Alex drops to the title as The Pirate Irish Whips him to the apron. Alex's back connects against the apron as The Pirate walks down to him. The Pirate turns Alex around and throws him under the bottom rope to the inside of the ring.

The referee's count is broken as The Pirate looks to end this. The Pirate picks Alex back up, but as he bends down to pick him up, Alex raises his right arm in-between the Pirate's legs and connects with a Low Blow. The Pirate lets out a roar as he holds his groin and drops to the mat. Alex, standing on his knees, smiles as the referee sees it and yells to the timekeeper to ring the bell. Alex rolls outside the ring as the bell rings.

Ring Announcer: Your winner by Disqualification...........The Pirate!!!!

The crowd cheers as Alex smiles and the Pirate is down on the canvas. Alex walks over to his title that he had dropped earlier as the fans near the entrance ramp area begin to yell at Alex and boo him.

DING DING DING

Alex picks his title up as he smiles, and as he's about to walk up the entrance ramp, he decides to walk back down the ramp and inside the ring. The Pirate is slowly getting back up as Alex goes back inside the ring with his title. Alex stands back up holding his title in his hands as he has a distance from himself and The Pirate. Alex looks like he's about to hit The Pirate with the title. The crowd immediately boos the World Heavyweight Champion as all of a sudden, the Hardcore Champion Riley Williamson comes running down the ramp. Alex sees it and quickly runs outside the ring. Alex runs around the ring and up the entrance ramp as Riley stands tall with the Hardcore and one of the Tag Titles around his waist while the crowd cheers. Riley and Alex switch words as Alex is mad that Riley is getting in his business. Alex raises his World Title as he tells Riley he's never getting his hands on that. Riley gets angry, but lets those words be motivation than taking his anger out. While Alex is in the middle of the ramp, continuing to go up the ramp, Riley remains in the ring. The fans cheer begin to get louder as Maddox's theme begins to play throughout the arena as Alex gets scared and turns around to look up the entrance ramp. Maddox comes out from the back and looks at Alex, who's scared. Alex looks back and sees Riley in the ring. Alex knows he's trapped, so Alex turns his back on Riley and focuses on Maddox. Maddox quickly runs towards Alex as Alex runs towards him, but Maddox connects with a Charging Spear before Alex could do anything, taking the champion down onto the steel ramp. The fans cheer as he drops his title and holds his waist. Maddox gets back up as he looks down at Alex, and then turns to look inside the ring at Riley. Maddox looks at the World Title, and then back at Riley, but then he looks back at Alex as the XWA Vendetta logo appears on the corner of the fans watching from television as Vendetta is coming to an end for the night.
