While it's been expected that Brock Lesnar would return by this year's WWE Summerslam event, The Wrestling Observer recently reported that Lesnar is being considered for Night of Champions as well. It's expected that WWE will have him take part in a two-show feud, meaning he would likely work the same person at both pay-per-views.
A big round of WWE Network subscription renewals will be coming in around September, so it's being said that WWE is wanting to stack the NOC event with major star power.
There is no word as to who will Brock Lesnar will face when he returns, but Cesaro and Daniel Bryan seem to be the odds-on favorites at this time.
The Shield Drawing Big
The overrun segments for RAW the last two weeks featuring The Shield have been the highest rated quater-hour segments of both nights, reports The Observer. While this certainly looks good for The Shield, it doesn't hurt that they are working a feud with three of the biggest names in the business either.
