Wrestling legend Mick Foley took to Twitter during Monday Night Raw this week to send a warning to the WWE, in regards to the current feud between WWE World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan and Kane.

I hope @WWE treads VERY carefully with this @WWEDanielBryan situation.Feels eerily similar to the story that derailed @ZackRyder's career.

Foley is referring to Zack Ryder's 2012 feud with Kane that also involved now former Diva Eve Torres, which was the last memorable program Ryder worked before returning to lower card status.

But WWE wants to push Bryan as a top face. What makes him think D-Bry could end up like Ryder. Plus Kane was feuding with Cena at that time. Ryder wasn't the guy Kane was feuding with.

^^ he was still part of the storyline. And That was the feeling I had last night during every second of the Daniel Bryan and Kane thing. It has a lot of the same elements. Kane trying to drag someone to hell, a bad female Actor, and Zack/Daniel running away scared.

If Daniel Bryan gets chokedslammed through the stage next week or Kane breaks his back, it will officially be the same goddamn story.

The biggest difference between that angle and this one is that Ryder had a side story going on with Eve and Cena that just so happened to cross over with Cena's feud with Kane. There's nobody to cross over into this current angle, so it's nowhere near the same thing.

Actually, the biggest difference in the storylines is that Daniel Bryan isn't Zack Ryder, so he's safe.

Although, after watching that whole thing play out on Raw, I have to say Bryan's acting was very lame and Brie's screams was probably the worst I've ever heard. Plus I hated the fact the cameraman was in the car. Like, the hell? Were they all going back to the hotel to record a three way or something?!

You're right, it does.
Smaller guy gets viciously mauled, his girlfriend is also at risk, spends the whole show shitting himself over Kane, trying to escape in a car but there's an issue that stops it pulling away.
Same feel, just with fewer people.

Okay tell me why it doesn't? Daniel brayn and Zack run away from Kane instead of fighting him. The fucking car angle was pretty much the same expect Daniel got away. And two bitches that are ruining any hope of making it decent by being such shitty actresses. These two stories don't share the same elements? They look a lot alike to me. Apart from Cena being in the story.
