Caleb Spires vs. TK Empty
PostSubject: Re: Caleb Spires vs. TK   Caleb Spires vs. TK EmptyFri Aug 02, 2013 9:52 pm

We are now just moments away from one of the most anticipated matches in XWA for the last 2 years. The current GM/returning superstar stands in one corner, a mere man compared to his giant adversary in the returning T.K. The fans grip onto their sodas tightly, shovel popcorn in their mouths, and get wide-eyed as humanly possible in anticipation for two of the most prolific stars in the history of the business. Just as the two start to head to the center to get the match underway, there is a sudden change in the reaction the fans are giving. The boos start coming in and this causes Caleb and T.K. to look around to find the cause. Oh, there it is. Smoke Xtreme advancing toward the ring holding a microphone, the last thing you want any of the Xtreme’s to have possession of. This immediately does not make either competitor very happy as they are ready to steal the show, and this reject thinks he has the right to try to ruin that. Spires is especially unhappy because he and Smoke have not been seeing eye to eye, and The Elite One can only tell that he has ill intention toward him. Smoke gets closer to the ring and he raises a microphone to his mouth to explain why he is out in the ring area.

Smoke Xtreme: “Don’t mind me, I’m simply coming out here to observe the match. Good luck you two.”

The fans and the competitors aren’t buying his explanation, especially when the smirk on his face after he is done talking. He makes his way over to the announce table as Caleb tries to forget about the former Mayhem GM and focus on his 6’9 task. And T.K. focuses on his task at hand; to overthrow arguably the biggest legend in the history of XWA to seal his legacy as the greatest. And with those thoughts in their heads, the bell sounds to start it off.

Ding! Ding! Ding!

The Crimson Giant makes the first move lunging forward slightly, which makes Caleb flinch and jump back, giving T.K. a grin, knowing that he has the intimidation factor due to his size. Spires shakes off the slight embarrassment and starts to circle around his adversary. He rushes to the 6’9 former World Champion and attempts to lock up. This doesn’t work very well for the 192 pounder as he just gets shoved backward about 8 feet, not even coming close to moving his much larger opponent. The Elite One shakes it off, and bounces off the ropes, coming to The Evolution of Man at full force. This doesn’t work very well for Caleb, who is met with a simple, yet extremely effective elbow strike right to his temple, catching him off balance and making him plummet to the mat. Spires clutches the side of his head as he tries to not let the strike get to him and reach his feet again. What he doesn’t see is T.K. standing behind him in a crouched position as he stalks him. Caleb gets back to his feet and turns around to see The Crimson Giant attempting a clothesline. As crafty as ever, the Hoosier veteran ducks the clothesline attempt and runs to the ropes, bouncing off to gain momentum. He returns with lots of speed, but before he can get any offense,  T.K. shows that not only is he big, but also agile as he leaps over Caleb. Spires rebounds off the ropes again, but is stopped completely this time as he runs into a flying knee strike that could have given him a concussion as he falls to the mat dazed.

”And down goes Caleb for the third time! What can he do to gain any offense against this monster?”

”He can’t do anything! Look at the size difference, T.K. is a foot taller. Everyone has referred to this as a dream match, but Spires is a child compared to this specimen.”

Smoke Xtreme: “He brought it upon himself. When you disrespect the chief operator, you don’t get away with it. This match is just getting started and it will only get better from here.”

At this point instead of going for the cover, The Evolution of Man stays standing, daring the Vendetta general manager to get back to his feet. Rather or not it’s the smartest idea to get back up, Spires will not stay down and he gets back up to his feet, shaking the cobwebs out of his head. Once the veteran gets back to his feet, T.K. wraps his arms around his waist from behind. Not even giving Caleb the chance to try and fight it off, The Crimson Giant takes Spires backward, hoisting him in the air and attempting to slam him down with a German suplex. However, the 5x heavyweight champion uses his agility and athleticism to do a back flip in the air and land on his feet, free from harm as he stumbles back into the ropes. His larger adversary gets up quickly and turns around straight into a thunderous knife-edge chop as hard as Caleb can muster. It may be not be devastating, but it’s enough to make T.K. cringe and clutch his chest. The only way it seems like the Orgasmic legend can wear the big man down for the time being is knife-edge chops, so he leans back and fires yet another loud one into his chest. This causes the former XWA champion to stumble back a little bit, seeing as it was harder than the first. But 2 chops aren’t going to keep him down. The Evolution of Man fires back, attempting a decapitating lariat. With cat-like reflexes, the 5’9 Spires ducks his arm and fires yet another knife-edge chop into T.K.’s chest that sounds like a gunshot. The crowd even “oooh’s” at the last one. Not giving The Crimson Giant any time to retaliate, Caleb leaps in the air, plants both feet into his adversary’s chest, and flips backward delivering a dropsault with enough force to catch T.K. off balance and make him stumble back into a corner.

”The Vendetta general manager finally begins to build some offense, using his brain to keep a distance and strike at just the right times.”

Smoke Xtreme: “Yeah, yeah, yeah. So what? We’re just getting started. Caleb can’t keep up with The Crimson Giant in the long run. It’s only a matter of time before he gets crushed like the little bug he is.”

With T.K. out of his element for a short time, The Elite One wastes no time in trying to keep his offense moving before the former TNL and XWA champion can get back in the groove of overpowering him. Spires takes charge into the corner as fast as he can and leaps into the air for a stinger splash. The Evolution of Man gets out of the way just in time, causing Caleb to collide chest-first into the top turnbuckle. This knocks the wind out of The Orgasmic Legend, who fumbles backward, turning around, and having the tides turned yet again as T.K. leaps in the air grabbing Caleb by the back on his head and bringing the face of The Elite One into his knee for face breaker knee smash, shades of Triple H. Spires’ head snaps back and he stumbles backward into the ropes, rebounding off and coming back to The Crimson Giant. This is just what the 6’9 superstar was hoping for, as he catches The Elite One behind both knees, hoists him in the air as he makes a 180 spin and plants Caleb on his back and neck to complete his signature Adaptation Slam, a spinning spinebuster. Immediately after the move, T.K. slumps on top of his downed opponent for the first cover of the match.

1-2-

The Elite One proves that he will not be shut out that easily be forcing his shoulder off of the mat. The 6’9 former world champion gets off of Caleb with intentions of keeping the pain up. Although the match is still early, the pace is already beginning to slow down a little bit to keep the stamina of both competitors going. Spires begins getting up, but T.K. gives him a nice boot to the gut to make him double over in pain. The Evolution of Man wastes no time in grabbing Caleb by the arm and Irish whips him into the corner as hard as he can. The much smaller Caleb hits the turnbuckle hard enough to the point where he bounces off the padding, walking forward in a groggy manner. This gives the cunning T.K. a chance to leap in the air, grab The 5x world champion by his hair, and bring him down into his knee, delivering a devastating, Triple-H like jumping knee face smash so impactful that it causes Spires’ head to jerk back in a very scary fashion and make him stumble between the top and middle rope and plummet to the outside.

”My dear Lord! T.K. may have broken Caleb’s face and neck with just one knee. He has to have whiplash after that.”

Smoke Xtreme: “Oh no, the horror. I hope he’s alright. Can’t you tell how sincere I am right now?”

The Crimson Giant has a smile on his face that even Satan himself would fear. He knows that he has the veteran under his pinky, and with the size difference there’s not a damn thing that can be done to stop him. As The O-Legend quivers outside on the very thin padding, T.K. takes his precious time in dropping down and rolling out of the ring. The referee begins to count both men out, but The 6’9 monster couldn’t care less. While Caleb rolls around like a fish out of water, T.K. devises his next plan as his eyes catch the steel steps on the outside. The Evolution of Man has bad intentions of potentially maiming his adversary as he pulls The Elite One up to his feet with absolute ease. Spires is groggy and his fans are extremely concerned for their beloved superstar who is being handled like a rag doll. T.K. grabs Caleb by the head and back and begins to rush him into the steel steps, pushing him with all of his might. Unfortunately, the first XWA Hall of Famer knows exactly the right way to counter this. As The Crimson Giant tries knocking Spires unconscious, Spires is wise enough to drop down long before he hits the steps and drop toe hold T.K., making him lose all of his balance and knocking him off his feet, sending him face first into the steps and sending the top steps flying 10 feet off.

”And that’s where the experience of Caleb Spires comes into play! He’s been around the block enough times to know how to counteract.”

”Shut the hell up, you sound like such a nerd.”

As The Evolution of Man writhers on the ground in agonizing pain, Caleb leans up against the ring apron, trying to regain his composure while T.K. is still out of it. The referee’s count is up to 4, and Spires holds onto the bottom rope as leverage, and hoists himself back into the ring as he rolls toward the center. He notices on the outside, his larger adversary is beginning to get to his feet, slowly and trying to recover from being rammed into the steel steps. The fans look at the face of The Elite One and they know that he is pondering what to do next. With a little bit of hesitation, and hopefully perfect timing, Caleb runs to the opposite side of the ring and bounces off the ropes to get momentum. At full speed ahead, the 5x XWA heavyweight champion leaps over the top of the ropes, lands on top of T.K., tucking the big man’s head under his arm, and drives The Crimson Giant’s head into the ground, performing a breath-taking suicide dive tornado DDT that has the fans in an absolute frenzy.

“Holy shit! Holy shit! Holy shit!”

”My dear Lord!! Spires still has it!”

Smoke Xtreme: “He put his own body on the line! He probably hurt himself just as much as he hurt T.K., and is it really worth it? Always has to be the center of attention..”

The roar of the crowd is intense right now as both of the competitors lie on the outside, unmoving at all. In the midst of that, Spires has found a new target; weakening the neck for his submission, The Orgasmic Crossface. It takes a little bit of time, but eventually The Elite One manages to make it back up to his feet, using the commentary table for support so he doesn’t fall back down. It takes much strength, but Caleb manages to get T.K. in a front head and hoist him at least up to his knees and drag him over to the ring apron. The O-Legend props the 6’9 giant up against the ring apron and with all of his strength, pushes him into the ring while the count is at 4. The referee bends down to check up on T.K., making sure he doesn’t have a concussion, and that takes his attention away from the outside. This gives Smoke an opportunity. With the referee’s back to the outside of the ring, the CEO of XWA gets out of the announcing chair, rushes toward Caleb, and blindsides him by pushing him with all his might, causing a head-on collision with the ring post, much to the dismay of the crowd. Spires hits the ground outside and holds his forehead that can show a lot of blood beginning to pour out. Smoke picks Spires up and tosses him back into the ring, a battered and beaten man, as he retakes his position at the commentary table.

”Hey, what the hell was that all about?!”

Smoke Xtreme: “What are you talking about? He has bad balance and tripped into the post. I didn’t even touch him.”

The referee finally looks over at The Elite One in confusion and sees blood trickling down his face. He doesn’t know how it got there, but he didn’t see anything and can’t fault anyone. This gives The Crimson Giant, who also has no idea what happened, his chance. He rolls over on top of Caleb as the crowd boos a potential cheap loss.

1-2-

Spires shows his heart and determination by kicking out as hard as he can, causing his fan base to once again, be happy. Of course, the kick out does not make T.K. happy and he is only just getting started with the now-bloodied, smaller Caleb. The Evolution of Man pulls himself up to his feet using the ropes as leverage and he waits for The Elite One to even try getting back up to his feet. As Spires tries getting up, he cannot even see T.K. or what he might be planning next. What he does see when he turns around is a roundhouse kick catching him in the side of the head and making his legs buckle out from under him, falling to his knees, unable to keep his balance. At this point, The Elite One may not have any clue what is actually going on due to a couple decent head shots. Giving Caleb hardly any recovery time, The Crimson Giant marches over to him and tucks his head between his knees. T.K. grabs his small opponent around the waist and hoists him into the air, on top of his shoulders. Spires knows what is coming, and tries his best to fight out, but his attempts are in vain as he gets dropped to his back from a powerful power bomb that practically makes Caleb’s back crumble. T.K. thinks that it was surely enough to put The Not-So-Elite-At-The-Moment One out for good. The former world champ drops on top of Spires, ready to kill a legend.

1-2-

With as much as he can possibly muster, Caleb manages to shoot his shoulder off the mat, angering The Crimson Giant even more. Then he remembers to keep his cool, because he still has control over the match. T.K. grabs Spires by his hair and pulls him into his legs once again, possibly going for yet another power bomb. He lifts him like he’s going for another power bomb, but instead puts Caleb back-to-back with him and hooks both of his arms. T.K. leans forward, locking in a De-Evolution(gory special submission) that arches Caleb’s back in torture and pain. The look on the face of the 5x heavyweight champion says it all as he has already had enough back pain in the match so far. And having it contorted even more while suspended in the air… Ouch. Nonetheless, T.K. bounces a little bit to apply more pressure on the hold and more strain on Caleb’s back. Spires begins to look for any way out, from wiggling out of it, reversing it somehow, or grabbing the ropes, but none of his attempts seem to be working. It looks as though he might have to put his pride aside and submit. The thought crosses his mind, but the thought of losing a point in the world title tournament is too much to take to start right off. He shakes his body as much as he can, trying to get out, but The Crimson Giant keeps it locked in. Caleb manages to elbow T.K. in the back of the neck, which weakens the hold. He does it again. And a third time. By the time Caleb elbow him for the fourth time, he relinquishes the hold to tend to his neck and back of his head. As the hold is relinquished, the 5x heavyweight champion lands on his feet, arching his back in pain. Both men’s back are to each other. Spires turns around and begins charging T.K. The former world champion acts fast and lifts his leg into the air, thrust kicking The Orgasmic Legend in the face with what he likes to call the Cambrian Explosion.

”There it is. I really don’t see how much more of this Spires can take. These last few minutes have just been him being dismantled. This immovable force is too much for him to withstand.”

”Good. You can’t just abuse your power, come back, and expect to be on top. T.K. is teaching him a lesson and I couldn’t be enjoying it any more.”

The impact of that last kick nearly knocked Caleb’s head off of his shoulder as he falls back to the mat, rolling around slowly to try to absorb the blow a little bit. The Evolution of Man wisely drops down for the cover, ready to end it.

1-2-

Perhaps on instinct, Spires managed to take his leg and put it on the rope to stop the count. T.K. wonders why the count stopped and noticed the referee pointing to Caleb resting his leg on the bottom rope. Yet again, this frustrates T.K. who has been putting the beat down in The Elite One for a few minutes. He shakes his head in a motion of “Why is this little bastard so persistent?” All the fans begin to stomp their feet, cheer Spires back to life, and make any other noise trying to bring one of their favorite stars back into it. As groggy as Caleb is right now, the upbeat energy is getting to him, almost bringing him back to life. He begins getting back up, giving The Evolution of Man the chance to get him into his clutches. T.K. pulls Caleb in closer and throws him up by his thighs. The Crimson Giant plans on doing his signature toss up powerbomb, but Spires flies so high in the air that he actually goes over T.K.’s head. Without even looking behind him, Caleb back flips through the air, and manages to Pele kick The former XWA champion in the head with his uncreatively named Encore to get the crowd back into screaming for him. While Caleb catches a breather on the mat, T.K. rolls out to the apron so that he can recuperate. The fans are hollering loudly for The Elite One to capitalize off of his possible come back. Both men begin reaching their feet at the same time, and Spires rushes to the apron where T.K. is and begins clubbing him in the back of the neck yet again to wear his neck down for a crossface. The Crimson Giant bends over between the second and top ropes and he 5x heavyweight champion decides to utilize this. Spires puts his back into T.K.’s head and traps both of his arms in a killswitch position. The Orgasmic Legend walks forward, hanging T.K.’s legs up on the second rope, like Orton does with his DDT. Caleb drops down, down with his back in the head of 6’9 giant and plants his face into the ground with a second-rope facial that sends the crowd into a flurry.

”Finally, The Elite One begins mounting some offense!”

”How much more biased can you be? Shut up and stop kissing Caleb’s ass, Jesus..”

Not wasting any valuable time that could lead to recovery, Spires drops on top of his dazed opponent.

1-2

With rather ease, The Crimson Giant manages to kick out and send Caleb flying off the top of him. Instead of getting up by himself, Spires manages to roll under the bottom rope and perch himself on the ring apron, waiting for T.K. to get up in anticipation. The Evolution of Man gets up slowly, still rattled from the Facial off the second rope. With his back turned to Caleb, and still not all the way up, The Elite One takes his chance. Spires clutches the top rope, springs up onto it and jumps forward, sticking his leg out. From behind, T.K. gets taken out with a leg lariat, followed into a leg drop bulldog from The Elite One, making the crowd go even crazier again. The 5x heavyweight champion drives T.K.’s face into the mat, while landing on his neck as hard as he can, and stuns the 6’9 former world champion hopefully just long enough to get the 3-count.

1-2-

Though a closer attempt, The Crimson Giant still kicks out with relative ease, and the camera closes in on the face of Spires, who has a look of “What the hell am I supposed to do?” Deciding that he has put enough strain on the neck of The Evolution of Man, Caleb decides it’s time to try and make him submit. While T.K. lies on the mat, face down to try to catch his breath, his small adversary takes this moment to trap his arm in between his legs and try to lock in The Orgasmic Crossface. Wisely, The Crimson Giant begins to scoot away to get his arm free, but the tenacious Caleb follows him, determined to lock it in. It’s only a matter of time before the much larger and stronger T.K. manages to pull himself up to his feet, while Caleb is still attached to his arm, trying to lock in the crossface. The Orgasmic Legend knows he is in a very bad position and tries to fight out of it, but cannot get the opportunity. In an amazing feat of strength, The Evolution of Man sends Spires flying into the air, catches him around the waist as he is coming down, and takes him over his back, slamming Caleb on his neck and upper back for a toss-up German suplex leaving the viewing audience in awe of his strength. The Elite One’s legs are over the rest of his body as he is folded up like an accordion. There is zero movement from Caleb, who could potentially be paralyzed. T.K. looks over at the top rope and begins to make his way over, the fans slightly confused as to why a man as large as him would be headed toward a high risk opportunity. As The Crimson Giant begins ascending the turnbuckle, all the fans scream loudly to Caleb, hoping he hears their pleads to stop what might be coming next. T.K. perches himself atop the corner and straightens himself out. Then he leaps forward, like a frog paying tribute to Eddie Guerrero with a huge frog splash. Right before he comes down on top of Caleb, possibly crushing his ribs, Spires smartly rolls out of the way, making the big man collide with only the mat rib and face first. T.K. lets out a blood-curdling yelp as he clutches his ribs whilst on his knees. Before The 6’9 beast has a chance to get back to his feet, The Elite One leaps on top of him to knock him off his base. Spires wraps his legs around the former world champion’s arm and locks his hands around his face, finally locking in The Orgasmic Crossface.

Smoke Xtreme: “Well…. Shit.”

Caleb leans back as far as he can, torqueing the neck of The Crimson Giant and making him holler out in pain. The front row fans might even be able to hear the neck crunching with how hard Spires is pulling back. T.K. is desperately trying to crawl to the ropes as best as he can, trying to pull himself up to his feet, but every time he tries to find a route to escape, the harder the submission gets applied. The former world champion lies there on the mat, unmoving and with his hand hovering above the mat, ready to tap out if the hold gets any more excruciating. He begins to drop his hand, ready to tap out, but stops himself just in time and clutches Caleb’s fingers as he tries to pry them apart. The crowd is going wild, cheering for Vendetta general manager to apply as much pressure as possible, and he complies with their demands. The referee gets down into T.K.’s face and asks him if he wants to quit. The look on Caleb’s bloody face is terrible to look at as he clenches his teeth and pulls back as hard as he can and for a second, it looks like there’s no way out for T.K.

Smoke Xtreme: “Yeah, screw this.”

Upon those three words from the COO, Smoke takes off his headset and begins to charge into the ring. Once Spires notices this, he relinquishes the hold and gets to his feet so that he can deliver a blow straight to Smoke’s head. Xtreme falls down and Caleb drops on top of him, punching him over and over again in the face much to the fan’s delight. The only defense mechanism that Smoke has is to roll out of the ring while The Elite One stays inside the ring yelling some very discouraging things toward him. Caleb shakes his head and turns around, right into a hanuman sending both of T.K.’s fist to uppercut the 5x heavyweight champion and basically lift him off the ground in a jaw-breaking motion as he lands on the mat hard. Smoke scurries back to the commentary table while Caleb lie on the mat, possibly knocked out. T.K. decides that it is time to put Caleb out. The Crimson Giant drops to the mat with his leg on Spires’ chest and holding onto his arm. T.K. wraps his legs around the legend’s head and begins to squeeze in a triangle choke that could potentially render Caleb unconscious. The crowd goes ballistic as they scream for their superstar to escape his clutches as they watch him writhe in pain, rolling around as he tries to find some way to escape. But it is locked in tight, and it looks like he is losing all oxygen in his lungs. His face is turning a ghastly pale, it looks like his eyes are about to pop right out of their sockets and T.K. does not plan on letting up on the hold at all. He has the winner mentality right now and he can’t be stopped. Spires stirs, scooting each way possible, but all of his attempts are in vain as The Crimson Giant pulls him in closer, and it is beginning to look like there isn’t much hope left as Caleb drops his head. The referee takes immediate action to make sure he can continue as he lifts his hand up and drops it to the mat.

1

Caleb’s hand drops down and smacks the mat a first time, unmoving at all and it looks like he may not be getting out of it. The Evolution of Man keeps squeezing tightly to make sure that the oxygen does not come back to Spires’ brain and he remains unmoving. The referee picks up the lifeless hand of The Elite One once again and he drops it.

2

Yet again, his hand smacks the mat without it looking like he’s even coming close to moving and the entire crowd is screaming orders, talking amongst themselves, any type of noise possible. It’s in the bag for The Crimson Giant now. He just has to keep the hold locked in and let the lifeless man’s arm drop one more time. The referee gets ready to end the match and give T.K. the win for the Vendetta world title tournament. He lifts up Caleb’s hand for a third time and drops it and prepares to tell the timekeeper to ring the bell. But, merely inches away from smacking the mat yet again, The Elite One stops his hand, showing a sign of life. His hand shakes violently and he begins spazzing out, trying to find some way out of it. He turns one way, it doesn’t work. He tries back up to the ropes, it doesn’t work. So he does the only thing left he can do to try to get out of it; he grabs both legs, stacking T.K. onto his shoulders and rolls through for a jackknife roll-up.

1-2-

To avoid getting pinned, The Evolution of Man breaks his hold by kicking out and Spires is finally able to breathe again, much to the dismay of the 6’9 former world champion. Though Caleb was the one who just went for the pin, T.K. is the one up to his feet and moving first, while The Elite One is on his knees breathing in as hard as he can to get an oxygen flow back into his brain. At this point in time, The Crimson Giant is filled with rage and he wants to put Spires away, something he feels like he should have been able to do ages ago. He waits for Spires to reach his feet and face him, something that takes a moment, because The Elite One is still trying to get back into it. When he does reach his feet and turn around, he is met with a swift kick to the gut. Caleb doubles over and T.K. steps over his head and hooks both of his arms. The fans know what he has in mind, and it’s a Natural Selection(Pedigree). Just as The Evolution of Man jumps up to try and take Caleb into the mat, Caleb turns the tides by straightening himself up as best as he can and back body dropping the big man over his back. T.K. hits the mat with a thud, but it doesn’t keep him down long. The former world champion gets back up, angrier than ever in the match and heads toward Spires, who is clutching the top rope for balance. Once T.K. is within a good distance, Caleb leaps forward, lifting his foot in the air, and delivers one of the most devastating Lights Out superkicks he has ever given in his life, somehow managing to get his foot up that high. The fans are going absolutely wild, screaming for Spires who looks like he might have the match won. It may have been lights out for T.K., but Caleb is too drained to capitalize immediately. He lies on the mat about 6-7 feet from The Crimson Giant and doesn’t have the energy to jump on quickly. Slowly, he crawls with all of his might and drapes one arm over the big guy and the fans scream the count out.

1-2-

All the fans scream 3 at the top of their lungs, but The Evolution of Man kicks out, sending The Elite One rolling off of him. The fans are in shock and Caleb has a look of “you have GOT to be kidding me…” on his face. The Orgasmic Legend is on his knees(Damn it, I didn’t mean to phrase it that way. But I’m definitely not changing it either) and he begins shaking his sweaty, bloody head as he tries getting back up to his feet. Submissions and strikes aren’t working, perhaps it’s time to try some aerial attacks. While The Crimson Giant lie on his stomach, not making any movements, The 5x heavyweight champion slowly makes his way to the corner, and goes out to the apron, ready to ascend. As slowly as you can imagine from someone who has been competing for this long in this draining of a match. Once he gets his feet to the top turnbuckle, he notices a disturbance out of the corner of his eye. Yet again, that bastard Smoke Xtreme coming to rain on his parade. Spires directs his attention toward the COO and begins to say some choice words to him, daring him to try anything. This goes on for what seems like a while, and Caleb completely forgets the matter at hand, that being T.K. What reminds him? A Muay Tai kick straight to the ribs that causes him to lose balance and rack himself on the top turnbuckle, causing any male member in the audience to take a moment of silence for potentially shattered testicles. Spires clenches his face, a single tear drops down his face, and he can hardly move due to the pain. Smoke stands on the outside jeering The Elite One and yelling out words of encouragement to T.K., who seems to be ignoring Smoke and all of his orders, ready to finish off the match the way he wants to. The former world champion begins climbing up the ropes himself to the surprise of the crowd and drapes Spires’ arm over his neck, ready to give him a devastating superplex. But as The Evolution of Man prepares to lift him, Caleb keeps his legs wrapped around the top turnbuckle so he can’t be lifted, and fights back with some jabs to the ribs. T.K. loosens his grip on Spires who is a mad dog in jabbing him and then delivers a nice headbutt to the head and neck area. With all of the pain The Crimson Giant has suffered on his neck, he lets go of Caleb completely to clench his neck. Then The Elite One lives up to that moniker. While The 6’9 T.K. is dazed form the headbutts, nearly falling off, Caleb ducks under the former world champion’s arm and grabs him behind his leg. In quite possibly Caleb’s greatest feat of strength ever, he lifts the much larger man up in a reverse death valley driver position and old-school fans of The Orgasmic Legend know exactly what’s coming. He leaps off the top rope, flipping T.K. off of his shoulder and onto the top of his head and neck with a devastating, possibly death-bringing second rope burning hammer, shades of backstage mentor Shawn Duster. The crowd is going absolutely wild as T.K roll over to his back, looking lifeless and seriously hurt. Caleb is unsure of how he pulled that off and is in completely disbelief of his own strength. Regardless, he crawls over to his downed opponent and drops onto him for the cover.

1-2-3!

”Classic match!!! Encore to both men; that was amazing! Looks like Spires just moved to 3 points for the world title tournament.”

”Oh big deal, he won a match. Aren’t we used to this? He comes back, has a decent run, and then can’t capitalize. Then he’ll just “retire” again with his tail between his legs. It’s getting old.

Smoke Xtreme: “Alright, nice job Spires. I’ll give you that. But we’ve only just begun. This tournament is FAR from being over.”

“Fake It,” by Seether explodes through the arena as Caleb cannot even stand after the display he just put on with The Crimson Giant known as T.K. T.K. is not even moving, still down from the crazy burning hammer. After a little while, Spires manages to reach his feet using the ropes as help, and nearly tumbles back down. Once he is to his feet, the referee lifts his hand in victory and he directs his attention to the COO outside the ring. Smoke stands up and claps for him, insincerely. All The Elite One does is smirk back at him and lift up the double birds. Before a recap of the highlights show, Spires holds up 3 fingers at Smoke, insinuating how many points he has and slips out the 3 words… “Bring it on.”
