Bob and Harvey Weinstein are swimming with sharks.

Variety reports that Dimension Films has acquired North American rights to upcoming underwater thriller 47 Meters Down.

The project, to be directed by British filmmaker Johannes Roberts (Storage 24) “centers on two sisters trapped at the bottom of the ocean when a diving expedition to observe sharks goes horribly wrong.”

Producers are Mark Lane and James Harris under their The Tea Shop and Film Company banner.
