TMZ has reported that rapper Christ Bearer (real name Andre Johnson) was rushed to hospital early on Wednesday morning after cutting off his own penis and jumping from a second story balcony.

The 40-year-old was rushed to the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles where doctors treated him for his horrific wounds; he is currently believed to be in a critical condition.
It is not currently known if doctors were attempting to or if they are able to reattach Johnson's severed penis.

TMZ reports that Johnson was with several other rappers when the bizarre incident occurred. Police are reported to have found Johnson critcally injured outside of a North Hollywood apartment building.

They say that Johnson cut off his penis and jumped from the balcony without warning but that they weren’t using what they term as “hard drugs” that would cause someone to commit such an extreme act of self-harm.
Johnson/Christ Bearer is a member of Northstar who were founded by RZA of the legendary rap group Wu-Tang Clan. The group has denied any connection with Johnson through a statement on their website.
