The match begins as both men are centered in the ring, face to face. Eric Goodman is not out here with his friend and client tonight, for some reason. Maddox Paine eyes Chris Pyro down with an intimidating look as Pyro, being the fearless man he is, tries to do the exact same to Maddox. Pyro begins to talk crap to Paine, as he is known to be “tired of meatheads running the wrestling industry” and Maddox, while no meathead, is definitely a big and tough dude, exactly what the smaller Pyro hates. The World Champ doesn't give his rants a second thought, but it is forced to listen to him when Pyro shoves his face back with his right palm, before ranting with a few more expletives. Maddox doesn't take too kindly to this, as he responds by throwing a huge right hand, decking Pyro with his black taped right fist directly on the jaw. The smaller man falls to the ground before rolling out of the ring angrily. The crowd responds to his cowardly escape with a barrage of boos as Paine stays inside the ring and angrily stares a hole into Pyro. “The Black Spider” Chris Pyro shakes off the blow before angrily jumping back up on the apron. He slides in through the middle rope quickly before looking back at the World Champ.
Ted Cedar: “This Chris Pyro is quite the loud mouth, and he paid for his arrogance at the hand of that right blow!”
Joey Miles: “You're missing the big picture, Ted. Paine is in a low card match. He sucks so much he got pushed allll the way down! Ha, bitch!”
Pyro shrugs off the blow and charges towards Maddox before making the mistake of trying to lock up with The Titan. Maddox manages to use his 30 pound advantage to force Chris Pyro into the turnbuckle quickly, before pressing his palms into his face. The referee begins to count, but Paine releases before it becomes relevant. Almost suddenly, Pyro throws a big gut kick to Maddox before grabbing the back of his head and slamming him into the turnbuckle face-first. Paine turns onto his back in the corner as Chris Pyro begins to throw some unusually sloppy blows to Maddox, perhaps showing some signs of fear or intimidation, as his game is a bit off compared to usual. Maddox tries to block the hits but Pyro is going wild. The referee is forced to step in and scold the smaller man for his blitz. He begins to count. Pyro stops dealing blows as he doesn't want to get disqualified. He then grabs a hold of the big man's right hand before trying to whip him across the ring. Maddox bounces over and instead whips The Black Spider to the other side. Chris Pyro quickly runs up the turnbuckle in a very athletic way. He does a full back-flip, attempting a top rope Moonsault right off the back, but as soon as he is in flight, Paine catches him on his shoulder! Maddox takes some time to adjust before charging towards the middle of the ring, flinging his smaller opponent over, and slamming him to the mat with a powerful Running Powerslam! Paine quickly pulls the smaller man's leg up for a pin as he gets on top of him!

“2!”
-Kickout, almost at 2. As soon as he kicks out, Chris Pyro shifts his body weight to the side and rolls right out of the ring.
Ted Cedar: “Once again, the World Champ keeps Chris Pyro at bay!
Joey Miles: “This is bullshit. Pyro's just warming up. Give it some time, Paine!”
Maddox roars inside the ring, getting the crowd riled up. Chris Pyro is outside, pacing himself as he heals up a bit. Pyro then quickly darts up and charges onto the ring apron. He gets up on it before grabbing the top rope with both hands. He leaps upwards, using the ropes as an aid, as he goes for a springboard double axe handle! But, once again the World Champ has his number. As soon as Pyro is in mid-air, Paine throws a big time throat-thrust! Catching “The Militant” Chris Pyro in mid-air and sending him right back to the mat! Pyro once again, shakes off all the pain and rolls out of the ring, trying to recover. This time, The Titan has had enough of Pyro's slying away. Maddox rolls out of the ring and tries to attack. The “One Man Death Squad” sees the World Champ running at him and decides to bail. Pyro runs as fast as he can, being smaller he can move faster too. Paine is no slouch and is very athletic, so he is on the chase right behind him. Chris slides into the ring at the last second; right before Paine can get his hands on him. Maddox makes a mistake as he tries to follow Pyro into the ring without focus. The smaller man takes advantage by running to the opposite ropes, bouncing back, and nailing Maddox with a big time running dropkick as Maddox was sliding into the ring. Paine rolls onto his back with one leg sticking out of the ring off the impact. Pyro mounts him quickly and begins to deal hard rights to the face.
Ted Cedar “...and now Chris Pyro off a sneaky attack to the world champ!”
Joey Miles “Sneaky?! That was brilliant! Stop being so damn biased, Cedar!”
Chris Pyro gets up off of the very similarly-dressed Maddox Paine before driving his big black boot onto his chest for a nasty-looking stomp. He jumps up before he stomps to add leverage, as he hits another, and another. Pyro bends down and helps Paine up to his feet by pulling him by his chin. He then leans him against the ropes before throwing a huge back chop to the chest, inciting a “WOOO!” from the crowd! He throws another, and another. Paine leans against the ropes and Pyro quickly tries to whip him to the other side. Maddox counter-whips Pyro and launches him instead. Chris actually expected this, and on his way back to Paine – who is now in the center of the ring – he leaps into the air, wraps both hands around Paine's chin, and drives him into the mat with a hard Sling Blade (running sleeper slam)! The Black Spider quickly covers the champ.

“2!”
Paine powers out.
Ted Cedar “Chris Pyro continuing his momentum. That's what he needs to do, he needs to use his natural speed to keep up. He won't be able to out-power the big man.”
Joey Miles “So negative, Teddy. I bet he could! Paine ain't shit!”
Off the kickout, Pyro quickly wraps his arm around Paine's neck and then manages to tangle his own arm under Paine's left as he locks in an Anaconda Vice. Not a signature move, but a move he's used before. Paine begins to groan, the pain searing through the back of his neck as Pyro mercilessly pulls back on the hold. The fans instantly begin to clap for the world champ, trying to get him riled up. Chris ignores the call of the fans as he smiles and pulls back even harder. Paine begins to crawl to the ropes, trying to ignore the pain as he hears his people calling for him. Paine drags and drags, but Pyro is not letting loose at all. Finally, after a few painful seconds, Maddox manages to reach the bottom rope with his foot, forcing the ref to start counting! “1!” “2!” “3!” “4!” - Pyro releases it right before the five, not wanting to get DQ'd but also not wanting to let go without causing as much damage as possible. The sly, sneaky Militant competitor gets up to his feet and quickly charges towards Maddox before kicking him on the side with a low dropkick, sending Maddox out of the ring through the bottom rope. Paine is outside now, on one knee, trying to get back up on his feet. Pyro keeps the momentum going as he bides his time and waits for his prey. Pyro runs at the ropes behind him, bounces off them, sprints towards Maddox and flies through the ropes for a suicide dive! Except... he is caught in mid dive by Maddox Paine, as the champ lifts him on his shoulder and slams him onto the hard floor outside with a nasty Standing Spinebuster! The fans begin to cheer as Paine drops to two knees to rest.
Ted Cedar “Oh my God! What a move!”
Joey Miles “I felt that from here... Paine should really not be allowed to be so fucking aggressive!”
Maddox bides his time and then works his way back up to his feet. He quickly grips the back of Pyro's head before pulling him up to his feet as well. He slides the sly competitor's body into the ring as Pyro is barely conscious. Paine slides into the ring as well and before he knows it, he's covering the smaller man.
“1!”
“2!”
-NO! Pyro kicks out of it again!
Maddox knew it wouldn't end him this easily, so he doesn't get frustrated. Instead, he pulls the relatively small man up to his feet, but he finds himself getting clobbered, as Pyro wakes up and fights back with a huge right-legged roundhouse to the face, out of the complete blue! Maddox drops to almost one knee, but before he can fall, Chris Pyro wraps his arm around his neck in a cutter position before leaping up and doing a full backflip and hitting a standing sliced bread, or else what he calls it, a Bat's Roost! Pyro now covers Maddox.

“2!”
No! Kickout from Paine as well!
Ted Cedar “Both of these men are giving it all in that ring tonight. Pyro knows how big it would be to defeat the world champ, and Maddox knows that he'll lose credibility if he loses this match!”
Joey Miles “Please, Chris Pyro is amazing. Maddox should want to win this for the honor of saying he could beat Pyro, but he won't. Cause he sucks!”
Pyro gets frustrated and begins to get sloppy. He raises the world champ right back up to his feet before slowly pressing him against the ropes. Chris whips him, and is finally successful in doing so. He bends over to attempt a back body drop on the big man, for some reason, however Paine is awake now. He latches onto Pyro's head with his arm, hops up, and drives him facefirst into his knee with a knee facebuster! Pyro bounces up as Maddox runs to the ropes behind him, charges forward, and nails him with the side of his right knee, hitting a signature Triple H-like running knee lift! Chris refuses to stay down, as he gets right back up. Maddox swings a big right arm and drops him with a lariat! Paine then pulls Chris back up and raises him onto his shoulder, attempting to go for a second Spinebuster! However, Pyro is ready for it. Chris fights out of the spinebuster and does a full flip overhead and lands on both feet behind Paine. Almost instantly, Chris Pyro tries to lift Maddox Paine up onto his shoulders from behind.
Ted Cedar “Ohhh! Pyro is trying to lift Paine for his vicious Final Dirge!”
Joey Miles “Fuck yeah! Hit him, Pyro. Hit him!”
The Final Dirge, otherwise known as a reverse GTS. Unfortunately, he is unable to get Maddox Paine up for too long, as Paine begins to fight back with hard right elbows. Maddox drops down, using his weight to his advantage. The Titan then charges to the ropes to the side of Chris Pyro, before bouncing back and attempting to charge him with a Striking Spear! Pyro sees it coming and moves out of the way, forcing Paine to go right into the middle turnbuckle! The fans groan at this back and forth fight with counters and counters. Maddox's neck bounces back sickly from the impact as he begins to recover. He turns around and Pyro throws a big right leg forward to his face, hitting him with a signature corner Yakuza Kick! Chris then waits for Paine to groggily get out of the corner. As he does, Pyro leaps up onto Maddox's shoulders in a very foolish attempt at a Hurricanrana. Chris drops back, looking to take Paine over. However, Maddox holds on! Pyro's head almost touches the mat as he remains with his legs scissored around Maddox's neck. Then, in a single fit of strength, Maddox Paine pulls Chris Pyro right back up and then drives him neck and spine first into the mat with a sick Titan Bomb! Paine quickly rolls over off the sit-down and pins him! The fans count along!
