- Per a report from The Wrestling Observer, a number of past WWE Superstars were contacted about appearing in cameo-type roles for WrestleMania 30 on Sunday. Some of the names that were said to be contacted include: The Rock, Steve Austin, Jim Ross, Ric Flair, Shawn Michaels and Roddy Piper.

The report says there is a decent chance that The Rock will appear on the show, but it's unknown if he'll be there live or appear in a pre-taped interview segment.

Concerning Stone Cold Steve Austin, he said in the past he wouldn't go to New Orleans unless WWE had something for him and wouldn't go to sit in the crowd at the Hall of Fame ceremony. WWE had also pitched ideas to Austin for the show, and based on reports on his being in New Orleans this weekend, many believe he accepted one of them.

I have a huge feeling The Rock will show up there, just as a shocker. Also cuz he's done shooting Hercules and appearing at WM would be a good way to promote.
