WWE currently has a job posting listed to be the Administrative Assistant to the EVP of Television Production. This of course is the title longtime employee Kevin Dunn currently holds. The job description reads:

World Wrestling Entertainment is looking for an exemplary Administrative Assistant supporting our EVP of Television Production.

The ideal candidate will be a highly trustworthy, loyal, hard working professional who is team oriented, extremely agile and intuitive. The Administrative Assistant will provide professional, confidential support to the Executive Office, such as:

Provide full administrative support to the Executive Office. General office duties, including but not limited to, handling incoming calls, distributing mail, faxes and calendar management. Coordinate travel arrangements for executive office. Reconcile and prepare expense reports. Provide backup administrative support for Executive Offices. Develop and maintain a time off schedule for the Executive Office’s direct reports. Responsible for replenishing office supplies, maintaining and organizing the office and supply room. Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence. Responsible for taking lunch orders and picking up lunch. Take notes/ minutes at monthly Executive meetings.

Stone Cold Have 1 More Match?

My Monday column for the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review…

A look at the rumors and possibility of Stone Cold Steve Austin returning for one more match at WrestleMania 31. The following is an excerpt:

It’s that time for the annual WrestleMania speculation regarding a comeback match from Stone Cold Steve Austin.

This time there is more reason to talk.

Austin will be 50 by the time WrestleMania 31 arrives. Time on the physical side and relevant side is ticking. He’ll always be Stone Cold, but the crowd who still misses him will only be caring for so long.

The other key is the space on the marquee has cleared.

The Rock’s had his comebacks. Brock Lesnar’s had his comebacks. Shawn Michaels has retired. Ric Flair has retired. The Undertaker’s streak has been broken. Hulk Hogan has returned to be the walking informercial for WWE.

Austin is the final curtain call left, as it should be.

Austin made a comment in passing on a recent episode of his podcast about training for a comeback before quickly changing the subject.

Austin’s last official match was never dubbed as such. He ended after a long run at the top when stress piled on with injures and personal matters. He got a standing ovation, but not with the intent or knowledge of it being the end.

Austin has nothing else to prove. That’s not the point, though. People still care, and a payday is to be made. Austin isn’t hurting for money. In fact, he’s done really well for himself with the other endeavors he’s involved in. But there’s a good story and official finale that can be presented with his final match.

The question is who would he oppose?

Honestly, I feel like it'd be a way to get Punk to return. Promise him a WM match with Austin and maybe he'd reconsider not wanting to return.

And if Austin was fit and able to "fight", that would be an epic match to have at WrestleMania next year, most likely the "Must Watch" one.
