"Nothing but boo's in that closing segment. Pure hatred. No dueling chants. CLEAR Good guy and CLEAR bad guy. It's called pro wrestling folks" — Mike Bennett via Twitter.

These days, with fans' (lack of) attentions span, that's not quite as easy to accomplish as Bennett makes it sound. However, it's hard to argue anything else about his opinion of RAW's final moments.

The new Vince McMahon and his wife put it over the top. They put the entire night over the top. And they've done that exact thing two weeks in a row now. Credit to Daniel Bryan too, but his job was easy. It hurt like hell, I'm sure, but it was easy.

If you aren't ready for 'WrestleMania de Bryan' after Monday, I'm not sure you ever will be. All cylinders are firing in perfect unison right now and the climax, albeit predictable, is exactly what it should be.

That's actually what scares me though. Predictability appears to be Vince's worst nightmare at times, and logic and reason are often sacrificed just to "get one over" on the fans. Daniel Bryan going over Triple H in a brutal match gives them an out if they want to go with Batista in the main event, but that's simply not the WrestleMania moment everyone is longing to see.

Vince is aware of that, but does he care? I want to be convinced he does, but ask me again at midnight on April 6th — I might have a different answer.

'Attitude' Enthusiasts – One Step Down
OK, so there's really just "one" enthusiast that rubbed me the wrong way this week, and he wrote this garbage the other day, but I've also noticed that RAW's vicious ending prompted several others to vent their frustrations toward WWE in comparison.

"That's how wrestling is SUPPOSED to be!"

"Remember when RAW closed like that every single week? PG doesn't allow for that to happen enough anymore."

Those were just a couple of comments I noticed popping up in the aftermath Monday night. Being a guy who 100% feels pro wrestling has lost its "edge" over the past decade or so, I don't cling to the past or long for tables, ladders and chairs in every match and segment.

PG is not where I place the blame…ever. It's an easy scapegoat, sure, and I do question whether going that route was truly "best for business" long-term, but what's done is done. Good storytelling trumps anything and everything, and THAT is where Vince and Co. have failed more times than not in recent memory.

As a buddy of mine posted Tuesday in direct response to this same topic, RAW's final minutes felt special. Why? Because we are NOT spoiled and oversaturated with that type of violence anymore. There's still plenty of that to go around though, if it's really what you're after as a wrestling fan, and it's right where it should be: on pay-per-views.

HIAC, TLC, MITB, Extreme Rules — pick your poison, but spend your $9.99 a month first. RAW doesn't need that every week to hold "my" attention. If it does for you, it's unfortunate. I'd suggest you not get your hopes up though about what it means for the future.

Cody Rhodes/Goldust – One Step Down
WWE is on the brink of something decent — above average, at least – with their tag division. The Usos, surprisingly to me, have followed up rather nicely since their title win, The Outlaws are still The Outlaws, and Swagger and Cesaro are sticking together until Mania, possibly longer.

I'm aware RybAxel is still a thing too, but I can't count them as a thing to actually care about.

Then, there's Cody Rhodes and Goldust, who have lost nearly all of their momentum since dropping the belts. Why? If you're not splitting them up, why can't they be more involved with The Usos, Outlaws and the other couple of teams in the mix?

They'll likely be thrown into the three-team or four-team tag title match WWE decides to do at WrestleMania 30, but I can't imagine anyone caring that they are. Unless..they use the last two and 1/2 weeks available to really sell Rhodes and Goldust as a worthy team again.

As a huge tag team fan, I've really enjoyed some of the things WWE has done lately. And I absolutely believe Cesaro and Swagger are better off together right now. Beyond 'Mania, I'm aware the chance of the split is pretty high, but I'd keep them together for a good portion of this year if possible. Then, maybe there will be room for a guy like Cesaro to start his singles push.

In the meantime, give us a reason to care about The Usos' defense at 'Mania, and if it's going to include more teams than just The Outlaws, you still have quite a bit of work to do. Specifically with the Rhodes brothers.

Bray Wyatt/John Cena — One Step Up
Both guys are great, but Wyatt is phenomenal on the mic. And unfortunately, the majority of the WWE Universe (casual fans) probably don't, or can't appreciate just how good he is.

Either man can win at WrestleMania and benefit; both men can lose without being hurt. It's really a toss up. Personally, I'd say give the win to Wyatt, but I fully expect Cena to go over. Again, that doesn't hurt Wyatt — the fact he's in the match at all is a big deal, and it's a positive.

The "one" thing I still find missing in Wyatt's promos more often than not, he was actually much better with on Monday. The "plastic girlfriend" line got a great pop from the crowd, and it should have. It was delivered well and it was personal. Generally, Wyatt's promos are missing those one-liners that really drive his point home. Not on Monday.

Wyatt is SO deep and "out there" with his promos, they're always going to be compelling. But it's not always the most effective. In addition to selling his character and selling Creative's story, he needs to have one or two lines in every promo that envokes that same type of response he got from the Bella reference.

It's those personal stingers that spark those emotions. It's exactly why the Triple H/Orton/Batista segment went over so well — they said stuff to one another that ANYONE could understand and appreciate.

Again, I don't want Wyatt to change anything about what he's doing, because I love it all. I would just like to see a couple of tweaks made that would send him over the top even more.

Cena is playing his part well too, but this program and match is more about Wyatt's growth and progress. For me, at least.
