Update on WWE Sale Rumors
PWInsider.com is reporting that there is very little credibility, if any at all, to the rumor that television network AMC is looking into buying out the WWE. The report sources an interview with WWE CFO George Barrios from Bloomberg.com where he specifically mentions that the company is not interested in any mergers.

This doesn't take AMC out of the running however, in terms of networks that would like to host Monday Night Raw or Friday Night Smackdown. With the success of Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, Mad Men and a handful of other programs, the AMC network has become a decent ratings powerhouse, and would like to fill a gap in their Monday night time slot.
