Tag Team Wrestling Nintendo Entertainment System 1986
Oh what could have been! This game is known for being the first pro wrestling game to feature tag team wrestling. Off the bat you'll see that there's only two teams... yeah four guys. The babyface team is The Ricky Fighters and the heels are The Strong Bads. And yes this game is where Strong Bad gets his name from.
What's funny is that there's four championships to win in this game with a division with two teams. That's funny right there. And above The World Championship is The Super Championship. Whatever I guess. It's an '80s arcade game.
The worst part is the action. You wrestle by hitting an action button and selecting your moves. This would be okay by instead of using the directional pad you have to mash the B button! And when you tag in your partner the number of times you have to press B to get a certain move changes so you can't get a flow for the game.
The way the sprite gets in and out of the ring looks stupid and while the crowd was great for Pro Wrestling in Tag Team Wresting they are an eye sour.
This game just gets too much wrong for me to recommend it. It's playable but I'd say to just avoid this title.
