PS-M3 | Xtreme Icon vs. Dylan Breywell Empty
PostSubject: Re: PS-M3 | Xtreme Icon vs. Dylan Breywell   PS-M3 | Xtreme Icon vs. Dylan Breywell EmptyFri Feb 14, 2014 7:50 am

Ted: "Well Joey we are slowly making our way to the main card spectacular, we have just one more match before the fireworks really blow the roof off the Air Canada centre"

Joey: "That's absolutely right Cedar, This last match though is a serious contest between one of the newest dudes to enter into the XWA ring, he's still a bit of an unknown quantity having only been in one match so far, but in that match he displayed some serious ability, could we see something special?"

"That's what i'm hoping for, Dylan Breywell showed that he's here to hurt people on our last vendetta coming up to this event, but Xtreme Icon his opponent in this match and the man he pinned in the previous contest is looking to exact some revenge on this upstart newcomer!"

Laura watts is stood in the centre of the ring with a beaming smile reaching from ear to ear emblazened across her face, she holds the microphone at her veluptuous waist and slowly brings it to her lips.

"The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and it is your Pre-show main event of the evening"

the lights go out as we prepare for the entrance of the first combatant, an uneasy atmosphere drops across the air canada centre, this match suddenyl has a big fight feel to it.
"*Yeah, i saw you in the ring, jumping around like a wounded Duck, when you gonna learn sucka? you just can't mess with X X X X X X TREME ICON*"
Kid Rock's special voice recording plays over the sound system as american badass's killer riff kicks in and the crowd start to jump and move to the rhythm, Laura can even be seen moving her hips to the sound, A Spotlight centres on the lower teir of the building, just to the left of the stage as Xtreme Icon makes his way out, the toughts SOB in XWA carrying his can of beer, he pops the ring pull and chugs it way back, crunches the can into his hand and begins to smash himself repeatedly in the head with it, he swallows a large percentage but spits the excess liquid over the purveying audience. With that he starts towards the ring.

"making his way to the ring from Great Falls Montana - Weighing in at 239 and 1 half pounds, The One Man Montana Militia - XTREME ICON!"

As the lights are restored, he high fives several members of the crowd en route before reaching the barricade, he clambers up onto it and lands inside the confines of the secured ringside area, rolls into the ring and begins to fist pump the air with every "Hey Hey" that play over the speakers, the crowd cause a deafening din as they mimic the song and fist pump along with Xtreme Icon showing their support for the former Intercontinental Champion and Hall of Famer.

Suddenly and without a seconds pause the driving guitar riff of Pearl Jam's Evenflow explodes through the PA System and The reaction to this is astounding, Boos almost drown out the music as the air canada centre display they displeasure at the arrival of Dylan Breywell,

Laura tries to announce his arrival but there is simply no point as even she cannot be heard with a microphone for assistance. Dylan barges and pushes his way through the crowd, with varying levels of resistance and finally emerges just the side of the timekeeper's position, he looks a lot more comfortable tonight than he did at the last show and his swagger towards the ring shows, he climbs into the ring and tears his Sublime T Shirt away from his body, it clings to his arm as the sweat and blood mixes with the amount of fluids thrown at him on his way to the ring and he is forced to peel it from his body, Laura Looks on in digust as Dylan twists his neck from side to side and rolls his hands to ensure that he is ready for the fight he is about to engage. Laura exits the ring as Xtreme Icon begins to mouth inaudible comments at his opponent from across the ring, Evenflow fades out as the bell is rung to indicate the beginning of this contest

*DING DING*

Dylan snaps and punches himself in the face, repeatedly, on the jaw and chin. Suddenly having significantly fired himself up he lets out a primal scream and lunges towards Xtreme Icon who instead of engaging the madman simply sidesteps him and delivers a drop toe hold into the corner, Xtreme Icon spins away and shows ring presence to keep distance between himself and his enraged opponent, Breywell returns to his feet and lunges towards Icon once more, Icon attempts to repeat the same maneuver but the Even Flow has it well scouted and stops his momentum, before delivering a soccer style kick directly into the ribs of his opponent. Breywell lifts Icon up to his feet and drives him into the corner with a shoulder into Icon's ribs, Dylan starts to deliver blow after punishing blow to the face of Icon, rapid punches that dont allow Icon to even take a breath. Breywell changes things up by delivering a series of elbows and forearms as part of his unrelenting onslaught, Icon spots a window of opportunity and thrusts his opponent away only for him to leap back up and resume the attack, Finally the ref gives up trying to reason with Dylan and begins his 5 count which is obnoxiously ignored, the ref reaches the count of 5 and decides to insert himself into the situation, wedging his body between the two, pushing Dylan back across the ring.

"What the hell is going on here? It seemed like Breywell was almost in a state of blind unrelenting rage!"

"this is a farce, the referee should've already thrown this match out, look at Icon he's already cut open, and the blood is pouring from the wound, WE'RE NOT EVEN A MINUTE IN YET!"

Ted Cedar's assessment of the situation is accurate and Xtreme Icon has been split open by the attacks of Dylan Breywell, he wipes the crimson fluid clear from his eyes with his arm and it visibly motivates him. The crowd, still booing Dylan Breywell for his early attack begin to cheer as they see their choice in this match begin to get enthusiastic towards this contest, The referee manages finally to reason with Breywell across the ring and convinces him to simply sustain a sane state. Breywell spies Xtreme Icon over the official's shoulder and simply pushes him out of the way, Icon staggers out of the corner and the two meet in the middle of the ring, and begins slugging at eachother with fists and elbows and arms, the match is quickly turning into a brawl more than a contest.
Icon gets the upper hand and drives Breywell towards the ring ropes, he pushes and pushes until he flips Breywell out of the ring to the outside. Dylan lands on his back and it winds him momentarily, Icon looks down and watches his opponent slowly drag himself back up to his feet, he turns and darts towards the opposite side of the ring, building up speed and momentum by bouncing off the ropes and flying back across the ring, he leaves his feet and begins to twist, Dylan looks up just in time to watch the moment of devastating beauty as his opponent twists through the air and crashes directly across him delivering a 720 corkscrew body press, the first moment of true athleticism in this contest.

"That was a thing of beauty Joey, you cannot deny!"

"it's Flippy Mcgillicutty style crap, anyone can use their body as a weapon by falling on a dude!"

Icon recovers quickly and pumps his fist into the air as the crowd begin a "lets go Icon" chant, he turns his attention back to his opponent, heaving his prone foe up off the floor and positioning him back on his feet, Icon lunges forward and drives his shoulder into the thorax of Breywell and uses his momentum to drive Dylan back first into the apron of the ring, he pulls back and repeats this motion, Dylan's spine twist around the apron and leaving him to grimace in pain, Icon rolls Dylan back into the ring and climbs up onto the apron, Breywell climbs to his feet and cuts off Icon with a snarling jab to the face, he takes hold of him from inside the ring in a front face lock and drags his body part way across the to rope. Icon is suspended in mid air not aware of what is to happen next, suddenly Dylan twists and drops Icon to the Canvas with a vicious suspended neckbreaker which tweaks his opponents neck and causes Icon to let out a cry of pain. The crowd cease their Icon chant, some of whom show genuine concern for their fallen idol, Breywell stands and raises his arms aloft before the agony in his back flashes across his face as a grimace, he lowers his arms to support his back and turns back to face Icon who is sprawled on the mat clutching at his neck. Breywell shows little mercy as he lifts him up off the canvas and immediately drives him back to the mat with a snapmare take over, once again focussing his attack at the top of Icon's spine, Breywell drives the point of his knee into Icon's neck and wrenches back on his chin with a rear chin lock. Pain visibly coursing through Icon's body, blood running down from the wound that Dylan opened earlier in the contest, his body goes limp, and the official shows a sign of true concern for the wellbeing of the combatant. He checks to see if Icon is able to continue with the contest by raising icon's arm, it almost falls back to the canvas but Icon suspends it and begins to attempt a comeback, trying desperately to fight out of this submission hold.

"Icon's in a lot of Pain here, but his persistance to keep fighting is putting a lot of strain on the patience of Dylan Breywell,"

Dylan places one of his hands over the forehead of the Xtreme Icon and tucks two of his fingertips underneath Icon's eyebrows, essentially turning this into a eye poke submission hold. The Referee does not like the use of the fingers in Icon's eyes and moves to split Breywell's grasp on the hold, Dylan lets go and watches as Icon collapses again to the mat, he covers his opponent looking for a quick win and exit to the match.

1.....2..... Icon kicks out and rolls over onto his front to avoid a repeated pinfall attempt, Breywell directs a harsh glare at the referee suggesting that he administered a slow count. The referee disputes the claim explaining that the count was an adequate one.
Dylan climbs back to his feet and pulls at his hair, he walks over towards the corner and looks into the crowd, he smirks and they as one let out a massive cheer of dissatisfaction at Breywell's actions, EvenFlow's reaction to this is to start repeatedly bashing his head into the top turnbuckle, almost emulating Jimmy Jacobs or a number of Samoan Wrestlers from history. Behind this display of sheer insanity and frustration, Xtreme Icon has restored his vertical base, though still shaken he steadies himself and takes a step towards the unstable Breywell, who turns and lunges. Icon is suddenly taken back to the floor and driven to the canvas with a large amount of force following a running STO. Breywell stands back to his feet and observes as Icon's face contorts with pain and emotion for the obvious discomfort in his neck and spine. Breywell drags Icon up to his feet and holds him in place sneering and snarling at him in disgust, the boos from the crowd are becoming deafening again but the Evenflow seemingly feeds off of them, he lets Icon go and twists 360 degrees holding out his arm for a Tornado Lariat, Icon somehow ducks the attack both men turn to face eachother again, Icon's back is to the turnbuckle which is about 4 feet from where he is stood, Breywell's momentum carries him back around and into the arms of Xtreme Icon who utilises his low centre of gravity to pop his hips and hurl his opponent over his head with a belly to belly overhead Suplex, Breywell's body contorts on contact with the the canvas while his legs are hung up in the middle and lower turnbuckle, Icon drags himself to his feet and clutches at his neck as he stumbles over to Breywell's landing site.

"Icon going back to the well, using the moves he knows he can pull off, but not displaying a care for his own wellbeing in doing so."

"That belly to belly suplex must've done further muscular damage to his own neck, but the damage done to Breywell as a result of his landing would be as great."

Icon delivers stomp after stomp to his opponent's face, shoulders and upper body, relentlessly, and without a sign of stopping.

"he's treading a patch of sodden dirt and mulch into his opponent"

"do you mean 'stompin' a mudhole in him and walking it dry?'"

"yes but i didn't want to impede on any copywritten material!"

Icon turns away from the carnage he has left in the corner and walks to the opposite corner, he slaps his hand on the turnbuckle pad and with a loud cheer from the crowd turns back and bursts towards his prone foe. Breywell is still on the floor following the onslaught of kicks and stomps and is starting to recover by turning onto his hands and knees, he tilts his head up to spy where Icon has gone, his vision is impaired as a pair of size 9 Asics wrestling boots come flying towards his face, Icon delivers a vicious basement dropkick to Breywell which does just as much damage to his own neck as it does to Dylan's face. feeling the turning of the tide in this contest he tries to shake off the pain coursing through his body and gets back up to his feet. Icon picks Breywell off the canvas and pushes him back first into the turnbuckle, delivering a series of punches to the head and body of his opponent, he turns and walks to the middle of the ring before twisting and sprinting at Evenflow. However it is not the body of Dylan Breywell that Icon makes contact with in the corner but the turnbuckle itself as Dylan has the wherewithall to turn away and begin walking to the opposite corner leaving Icon to rue his mistake, Dylan delivers one final shot with his head to the top turnbuckle pad before hurling himself back across the ring and crashing into Icon with the Pit Collision, the first in his well rehearsed trifecta of punishing moves, he peels his opponent away from the turnbuckle and snaps him over again with a punishing snap mare, delivering more punishment to Icon's Neck, he shuffles his way up to the middle turnbuckle and holds up his hands. He pumps his feet up off the middle rope into the air, before crashing back first across his opponent's now lifeless body.

"Amazing Athleticism on display from The Evenflow. showing ring awareness, speed, technical ability and the passion it takes to win by allowing his body to be used as the weapon against his opponent."

"Hold on, when Icon did the very same thing earlier you said it was crap, and that anyone can do it!"

after a period of dead air on the mic where neither commentator will address the elephant in the room, attentions are turned back to the ensuing contest.
Dylan sits up and inspects the devastation he has left and the punishment that has befallen the Toughest SOB in XWA. He pulls himself up to a vertical base and turns to face his opponent, he reaches down and lifts him from the canvas, once at a vertical base Breywell takes Icons arms and whips him up onto his shoulders.
He walks to the ring with Icon prone upon his shoulders and begins to spin, a continuous airplane spin that does little to no physical damage but seriously disorientates the recipient, after several spins around a vertical axis Breywell stops the motion. Breywell looks directly at the gantry of cameras in front of him and miles an evil smirk, knowing that the match has reached it's crescendo, he twists once more and turns Icon so that his neck crashes into Breywell's shoulder, He calls the move the "Cobain's Folly" - a variation on the TKO made famous by Jerry Lynn that incorporates a punishing neckbreaker, unveiling the reason he has been looking to do such damage to Icon's neck and spine. Icon lays prone on the canvas, not moving other than the inconsistent twitching that comes from his feet, Breywell sits and laughs a maniacal laugh looking around at the Air Canada Centre Crowd who are booing and jeering serious dissapproval at his actions, he pulls at his hair and begins to rock back and forth before remembering what he is there to do. Breywell turns and hooks Icon's Leg, the referee moves mercifully into position and counts to three.
The bell is rung to end the contest, and end the punishment. Laura begins to announce Dylan as the winner of the contest before he leaves the ring immediately following the fall like before, but this time she is cut off by Dylan Breywell's unexpected decision to remain in the ring. Now back to his feet, and visibly pleased with his handywork he lifts the limp carcas of Xtreme Icon up off the canvas, hoisting him back up to his shoulders once again.

"GOOD GOD DYLAN DON'T DO IT, HE'S A GODDAMN HALL OF FAMER IN THIS INDUSTRY!"

Dylan Breywell twists, wrenches and without mercy delivers a second, punishing Cobain's Folly to Xtreme Icon, the referee holds his hands up and motions for the assistance of the medical professionals, genuinely fearing for Xtreme Icon's wellbeing. Dylan rolls away to silence from the crowd, noone is aware of how to react and his music does not play as he stalks back up the entrance way laughing to himself. The medical personnel work to ensure that Xtreme Icon will be able to move again following the vicious onslaught against his spinal column during this match, as Ted Cedar adequately sums up this match.

"Dylan Breywell is a goddamned SON OF A BITCH!"
