Following last night's UFC 169 event, Alistair Overeem called out Brock Lesnar by saying the following:
"I heard there's word that Brock Lesnar is about to come back to the UFC," Overeem said. "Well I'll be here waiting for him." Overeem later added, "there was talk of him [Lesnar] coming back. I'll be waiting for him. That's all.".
Overeem defeated Lesanr in Lesnar's final UFC fight back in December of 2011.
Which WWE Executive is Handling the CM Punk Situation?
As we reported earlier in the week, Vince McMahon and Triple H are said to be of two minds about the CM Punk situation, and as such, Vince is personally handling the matter in terms of reaching out to Punk with the hope of bringing him back to WWE. Triple H and his talent relations department are reportedly staying out of the issue.
In related news, WWE is obviously not happy about the news leaking of Punk's walk out, and are equally unhappy with how big of a story it has turned into. The hope in WWE was that the situation would remain an internal issue so the company could deal with it as such.
