It's moments like this that make me confused as to why people think Ziggler can't go on the mic. The only argument I actually see being valid regarding Ziggler not being good is his selling. I personally like it, but I can understand why some wouldn't. But the guy is golden on the mic. Although, he doesn't get chances to showcase this kind of brilliance on television and it's stuck being on the app.

On another note, I think Titus O'Neil could be really good.

I like him. Good charisma, and his fall-away slam variation is fun. Not sure he's a main eventer, but I'd like to see him get a decent push (IC/US title, maybe)

I dont see Titus as a world champ, but he's definitely a good competitor. If he did become world champ eventually, I wouldn't be all that surprised though. He has the size and puts on good matches when he wants to.

It would be great if they brought back AW to be his manager, but they're not going to.

That would make sense...if Titus wasn't fine on the mic.

Wouldn't hurt him at all, I think it would actually elevate him. There has been a few examples of combinations of that in WWE.

And besides, I just want to see AW back.

Also, not a big fan of Ziggler but that promo was good.

I love his overselling. It's fun to watch.

I think it'd work really well, and I'd love to see AW back but doubt it'd actually happen. Do you think it's possible at all since they're past that whole controversy though?

Yep, that's my issue with him. I actually ranted about it a while back:

He hurls himself around the ring in response to everything, and all he's doing is making himself look rubbish. If Ziggler is the only person who gets send bouncing across the ring just because Ryback raised an eyebrow, then isn't he logically the weakest guy on the roster? I don't see smaller guys that Ziggler reacting that way to powermoves, so I can only guess that he's made out of some sort of balloon material.

There was a match, or postmatch segment where Kane chokeslammed him, and he actually bounced off the canvas and did a little spin. That's not good selling, it's Shawn Michaels vs. Hulk Hogan levels of silliness! Besides, selling everything like that takes away from the biggest moves. Sell Ryback's clothesline like death, not him shrugging. Sell Big Show's knockout punch like that, or Reign's spear, make those moves mean something.

Saw a video recently of Rock getting hit by the Gore (Gore! Gore!) and he flipped backwards. Because that was one of the only moves I've seen him do that for (Stunner being another), it made it look destructive. If Rock backflipped every time someone looked at him, it wouldn't have anywhere close to that sort of impact on me as the viewer.

You don't have to bounce around like a lunatic to make yourself or your opponent look good.

^ Speaking as a fan of Dolph, I do agree that he should be more selective with who/how he sells. Listening to his promo here, I would almost bet he's been told that and took at is people saying, "Try not to be so good."
