Kane announced on Raw tonight that CM Punk will be the number one entrant in this year's WWE Royal Rumble match.
-Batista made his long awaited return to WWE on Raw tonight and appeared in the opening segment of the show. He greeted Stephanie McMahon and Triple H with a hug and a hand shake, and then confronted Randy Orton. He said he didn't care if Orton, Cena or someone else is the WWE World Champion after the Royal Rumble, because he's going to win the Rumble match and go on to become the new WWE World Champion.
Batista would return later in the show to confront Alberto Del Rio after Del Rio defeated Rey Mysterio in a singles match. Batista got into the ring, Del Rio tried to attack him, but Batista hit a spine buster then hit Del Rio with the Batista bomb to end the segment.
-Also on Raw tonight, Big Show and Brock Lesnar went head-to-head. Big Show cut a promo in the ring and then called out Paul Heyman and Lesnar, and Lesnar finally came out to ringside. After he skirted around getting into the ring with Show for awhile, Lesnar finally got into the ring and tried to take him down. Show threw him down, but Lesnar hit a few shoulders to the mid section in the corner. Big Show then threw Lesnar out of the ring and Lesnar threw a fit at ringside, tearing up the announce table and grabbing a steel chair. Big Show waiting in the ring for Lesnar to get back in and fight him, but Paul Heyman subdued Lesnar and they left the ring area.
