Earlier today TNA Wrestler Austin Aries spoke with the press n a conference call promoting the TNA One Night Only Tournament of Champions pay per view. Below is a quick recap:

Austin Aries states he has not noticed a huge change in moral within TNA. He says wrestlers these days know there is a level of uncertainty in the business.

Aries praises the longer, arching storylines and says the fans can really sink their teeth into the stories now. He says he wants to be a part of more stories like that in the future.

He talks about the One Night Only PPV and states that they are a different business entity all to itself. He says this is a business model where the storylines are pushed aside.

Aries says that he is disappointed that TNA is returning to Orlando but sees it as a step in a different direction.

He praises TNA for growing more internationally than when he was first in the company back in 2006. He says TNA has found great ways to promote themselves and grow in those different markets.

Austin Aries said the roster is always excited and looks forward to the UK tour. He says the UK is TNA's biggest market and that UK wrestling is not oversaturated. He plugs the upcoming TNA UK PPVs tapings.

Aries says the company has given him lots of creative freedom over his character and that his character is really just himself.

He praised Kurt Angle and Jeff Hardy as top guys that have earned their spot. Says he always wanted to fight Kurt when he returned to TNA.

Austin Aries says people would be surprised how easy it is to stay healthy and in shape on a vegan diet. He spoke about the virtues of eating clean, natural food products.

He says the X-Division has a small identity crisis where people just don't know what it is or what it should be. There are really no defining set of rules.
