Ready for the Next Step?
To open the show off, XWA management representative Mr. Gomi kicked things off with a major announcement for the future of Revenge, by announcing the first PPV of the brand's young run!  Of course, that wasn't all, he also announced that it would feature the finals of the Best of Revenge tournament as the main event.  Not only that, but he also stated the official General Manager of Revenge will be announced at the opening of the PPV!  Certainly a lot of things to pay attention to come time for Retaliation.

Deal Smashes the Diamond!
In his Revenge debut, the Destiny Holder reminded everyone why he was once one of the best Rising Stars in XWA.  While Candice had done well up to this point to hold her own, the injured diva was in no condition to fight back as E.G. annhilated her in the ring.  Proving that as tough as she may be, maybe it's best to get that medical treatment instead of trying to impress her family back home.

The Diamond isn't a Mirage!
With another impressive win from the Prized Gem, it would appear that Danny Diamond is on his way to yet another acccolade for his storied career.  However, with his mental psych jaded with the departure of Mirage, just how long will it be till he's truly himself again?  And with Chandler's loss in the face of an opportunity ending in failure, how will he choose to come back?

The Savoir Cleanses Himself!
Yet again Rellim has left the fans talking with an impressive victory over Revenge newcomer Dave Demento.  Not only that however, Strife has also left the brand entirely.  Refusing to remain in the presence of so many who would refuse to be saved.

The Legend Stays at the Top!
Impressing yet again, Legend has really come into his own as he moves one step closer to being the absolute best Revenge has to offer.  However, with his opponent in the finals being an XWA veteran, how will the young star cope with the pressure?  Will he allow Seth to continue to influence him, or will he let the fans choose his destiny?

Graded Results!

As of this Revenge, this section will be reserved for only matches that were provided feedback.  For those who win via no-show, message me for feedback on your work and I'll do my best to get back to you in a timely fashion.

Danny Diamond vs. Tyler Chandler

Danny Diamond: A very interesting concept with the letter written to himself, pretty much a journal of sorts.  And I do love the fact you're continuing to show his struggles to cope with the departure of Mirage from his mind.  How he goes back and froth from uncertainty back to his prior arrogant-self.  It shows that he's not mentally sound like he has been in the past and that's what makes it all that much more interesting.  Not much to really criticize here, obviously you'd have done more if you didn't think it was going to be a no-show victory, so I'll leave it at this.

Tyler Chandler: A very strong effort from you, albeit a bit weak in a couple of areas.  I'll start off with the bad just to get it out of the way, as it's mostly nitpicky stuff.  For starters, you begin your promo off by saying that Chandler associates his opponent with losing, but then goes on to talk about how much a victory over him would boost him to the top.  I guess you could say that it's because Chandler thinks everyone is below him sure, but the entire promo's main basis is about him getting the respect and recognition he deserves.  Proving himself to be the best, not stating that he already is.  Just a bit contradictory, and to me, I think the start is pretty much what makes or breaks a promo, it's what sucks a reader in.  And if it does, the follow up has to connect, and that's what hurt you really.

Overall though, it was a really well done promo, the description was solid and it really got me interested to see where it's all going with his future, win or loss.  Though I would have liked to hear more about him being ready to finally make up for his past record against Diamond, and of course the start bit needed some work.

Winner: Going to have to hand this one to Danny Diamond as his was a more solid work, less to criticize I should say.  Tyler, you'd have gotten this easily if it wasn't for the mistake I mentioned, but it threw me off and dragged you out.  Don't let it kill your hopes though, semi-finalists are going to get a definitive chance to go for the title at the PPV, I'll show you when the time comes of course.  Great work you two, and thanks for showing!
