Vince McMahon has started up another company with his own money called "Alpha Entertainment" and it looking to expand his ventures outside of WWE, including Football. i can't remember who made the announcment that the XFL could return, but when WWE was asked about this they made this announcement that Vince started his own company. They haven't said yes or no, so there is a possibility that the XFL or a whole new football league could be starting up.
