“Neville sustained a left ankle injury on a baseball slide during his match with Chris Jericho. Initial X-rays reveal a fracture of the ankle. He will undergo further imaging today to determine the extent of the fracture and to determine if surgery will be necessary.”

Such a sad sad story

As noted, WWE star Neville suffered a broken ankle and broken shinbone during his match against Chris Jericho on Raw this week.

According to WWE doctor Chris Amann, Neville underwent more tests in Orlando at the WWE Performance Center on Monday, and he will not need surgery. Neville is expected back in 2-3 months and Amann had the following to say to WWE.com:

“Neville had some repeat testing done in Orlando today which included X-Rays and a cat scan of his ankle. Upon further review, it has been determined that surgical repair of the ankle would not be necessary. Instead, he will be treated nonoperatively with a cast and crutches. The estimated return for this type of fracture is usually 2 to 3 months.”

Welp, Rollins, Cena, Cesaro and now Neville can be added to the list of wrasslers we're not seeing live.
