| -Prologue-
These two men have had a rivalry that has lasted many many years. Ironic that this match takes place around the time of King of Xtreme, seeing as around 3 years ago, Kanimaniac and Razor did battle at the finals of the King of Xtreme tournament. Kanimaniac ended up raking in the victory over his Xtreme opponent. They haven’t faced off since. However, Kanimaniac stands at 2-1 over Xtreme right now. Will this even the score? These two men will take each other to the absolute limit tonight.
DING! DING! DING!
The match starts as the Englishman dressed like an Asian and the hometown boy stand inside the ring, ready for some action! The fans suddenly begin to chant “Razor! Razor! Razor! Razor!” – Expectedly so, as they are in Los Angeles, Razor Xtreme’s hometown! Kanimaniac frowns under his mask, completely ignoring the fact that his heel opponent is getting more cheers than he is. Razor grins a nice huge chuckle before raising a fist in the air, causing the crowd to give him around 70% cheers while the rest are little kids that don’t quite grasp why “daddy is cheering the mean man”. Razor then turns his attention to Kanimaniac and both men lock-up! Razor quickly grabs Kanimaniac’s right arm with and shimmies himself into a position of locking Kanimaniac’s arm in a Hammerlock. Kanimaniac tries to fight his way out of it, but Razor performs a small hop and wrings his arm downward, working happily, much due to the positive response of the fans. Kanimaniac levels Razor by swinging a big right elbow backwards, catching him on the forehead. Razor loosens up a bit and then Kanimaniac quickly squirms himself around and wrings Razor’s arm instead. He grabs it, does a small hop, and pulls down on Xtreme’s arm, making Razor drop to one knee. Kanimaniac wrings it again and then pulls him in for a quick clothesline. Despite being an amazing baby-face, the fans begin to give the talented Englishman a negative response. “Booooo!” cries the hostile LA crowd. Kanimaniac ignores the response he isn’t used to receiving and quickly pounces on his opponent, who is working his way to his feet. Razor leans against the ropes as Kanimaniac quickly whips him. Razor bounces back towards Kanimaniac and The Dragon King quickly tucks his arm under his larger opponent’s arm and tries to toss him over, but Xtreme leaps straight up, hooks his arm under Kani’s and instead tosses HIM over with a Hip Toss! The fans instantly begin to cheer, almost as if they’re being annoying at the fact that Razor Xtreme is from LA.
Ted Cedar: “I don’t usually say this Dennis, but these fans are ridiculous!”
Adam Dennis: “What are you talking about Ted? These people are great! You should respect our XWA fans!”
Razor pulls Kanimaniac up and leans him against the turnbuckle before swinging a big right chop, catching the Englishman across the chest roughly. He swings another, fazing the former King of Xtreme. Razor then grabs a hold of Kani’s arm and whips him across the ring, Kanimaniac quickly rushes up the opposite turnbuckle and bounces back, landing on top of Razor Xtreme with a huge Springboard Crossbody! Kanimaniac hooks Xtreme’s leg for a pin, “1!” “2!” – kickout! Razor grabs a hold of his back as Kanimaniac springs to his feet before pulling his old rival up to his feet. Kanimaniac levels Razor by drilling him in the face with a hard forearm smash. He then backs off a bit and swings a quick right leg, slapping his hip. Razor stumbles a bit before Kanimaniac swings his other leg and catches him on the right hip, Razor once again stumbles. Kanimaniac then finishes off his killer combo by throwing his leg behind him while doing a spin and dropping Razor Xtreme to the ground with a nicely executed Leg Sweep! Razor hits the floor back-first and grips his leg from behind. Kanimaniac then leaps up and drops on top of him with a Standing Body Splash! Razor groans as Kanimaniac hooks his leg for a pin! “1!” “2!” – Razor once again rolls Kanimaniac off him. Razor rolls onto his side, aided by Kanimaniac to his feet. Razor quickly pushes Kani back into a turnbuckle and begins to swing away at his mid-section! Kani groans as he releases Razor’s head. Razor backs off before he even gets a scolding from the ref. Razor then swings a big right leg and drills Kanimaniac’s gut. He bends him over a bit, locks him in a suplex position, and lifts him up onto the top rope. Razor attempts to toss Kanimaniac over into the middle of the ring with a superplex, but is quickly countered by the resourceful King of Xtreme. Kanimaniac headbutts Razor and Razor falls backward a bit, holding his eye. Razor stumbles around a bit and Kanimaniac regains his balance on the top rope. Kani takes a leap of faith quickly and does a full frontflip before landing both legs around Razor’s neck and tossing him over for a beautiful Dragonrana!
Ted Cedar: “Amazing move by The Dragon King! I didn’t expect that to come out of nowhere, but you must always expect the unexpected when doing combat with this man!”
Adam Dennis: “Get off his sack, Cedar! Sure, it was a good move, props, kudos, done!”
Kanimaniac quickly rolls on top of Xtreme, who is grounded, and pins him. “1!” “2!” – Kickout again! Kanimaniac sits Razor up on his butt and locks him into a seated headlock! Razor reaches out into the audience, who instantly begin to clap for the hometown hero! Razor swings a back elbow and then another one, forcing Kanimaniac to release. Razor pushes his hand against the ground and gets up to his feet. As Kanimaniac stumbles back, Razor quickly grabs his arm, hooks it around his own neck, and then drops Kanimaniac onto the ground with a neat Arm-Trap Neckbreaker! Kanimaniac grabs his neck as Razor rolls onto him for a pin. “1!” “2!” – Kickout! Razor pulls Kanimaniac back up to his feet before he hooks his head under his arm, raises him for a suplex, then lands in a seated position while dropping Kanimaniac onto the ground with a nice Falcon Arrow! Razor pulls up one of Kanimaniac’s legs for a pin. “1!” “2!” – Kanimaniac kicks out. Razor gets up to his feet as Kanimaniac rolls onto his side. Kani begins to get up to his feet as Razor pushes him against the ropes. He whips him; Kanimaniac bounces back and slides under Razor’s legs to avoid a Big Boot. Kanimaniac waits for Razor to turn around and then he swings a nasty chopping kick to Razor’s midsection. Razor bends over and Kanimaniac quickly hooks both of his arms before throwing him up, making him do a full frontflip, and landing him across his knee for an Underhook Backbreaker! Razor grabs his back as Kanimaniac gets on him for a pin! “1!” “2!” – Kickout. Kanimaniac gets him up and then places his head between his legs. He pulls him up onto his shoulders and then drills him to the mat with a devastating Powerbomb! Kanimaniac leaps over and locks it into a bridge for a pin! “1!” “2!” – No! Razor breaks it by hugging Kanimaniac’s back and working his way up. He ends up on his feet before pulling him overhead for a backslide pin. “1!” “2!” – Kanimaniac rolls out of it, receiving a small amount of boos. Both men get up, Kanimaniac runs at Razor for a lariat. Razor ducks it, Kanimaniac turns around and Razor quickly swings his leg up and catches Kani in the jaw with a devastating Big Boot! Razor drops to one knee for a split second before he leaps back up to his feet and leaps up into the air before drilling his elbow down on top of Kanimaniac, drilling him with a move his brother Smoke Xtreme made famous but has been used by both as a signature, the Xtreme Elbow! Razor hooks Chris’s leg. “1!” “2!” – Kickout! Razor slaps the mat and then pulls Kanimaniac off the ground. He whips Kanimaniac to the ropes, only for Kanimaniac to slide between his legs again. Kanimaniac jumps up onto the middle rope, throws his legs backwards for Razor to catch under his arms – which he does, then bounces up and gets him with a leaping reverse Bulldog! Razor hits the mat facefirst!
Adam Dennis: “That was a great move as well, but this crowd doesn’t care! Listen to em, what loud boos!”
Ted Cedar: “That’s just wrong Dennis. Kanimaniac has been very impressive in this match!
Kanimaniac ignores the crowd’s negative response and brings his opponent back up to his feet. He quickly leans him against the turnbuckle then begins to swing roundhouse kicks, decking him across the chest. One, two, three, four, only a small percentage of the crowd actually counts along to the roundhouse kicks. Razor’s chest begins to get red as the referee pulls the loaded Dragon King back. Kanimaniac backs off and then pulls Razor away from the turnbuckle. He pushes him onto the ropes and then whips him across the ring. Razor quickly leaps up onto the middle rope, does a full backflip, and lands across Kanimaniac with a beautiful Xtremesault – doing it to a standing opponent for the first time ever! Razor covers him for a pin. “1!” “2!” “3!” – No! Kanimaniac kicks out! “Booooooo!”- Razor quickly gets Kanimaniac up to his knees and slaps the back of his head. Razor yells at him, the fans stay a bit silent as they don’t want to seem like complete douchebags for cheering a bully action. Razor pulls Kanimaniac up and laughs in his face. He raises him onto his shoulder as he prepares to throw him with an Oklahoma Slam. Kani leaps off his back and as soon as Razor turns around, Kanimaniac kicks him in the gut, raises him up, and drills him to the mat with a huge Piledriver! The fans begin to boo for the King of Xtreme. Razor rolls onto his back and Kani slowly gets up to his feet. Kani then raises an arm to signal for the end. He is ready to hit his coveted Shining Wizard! The fans begin to quickly boo! Kanimaniac ignores them as Razor slowly works his way up to one knee. Kanimaniac leaps into action as he charges towards Razor. He swings his legs up for a Shining Wizard! But Razor quickly grabs a hold of his legs in midair and drops him onto his back while hooking both legs under his arms! He begins to turn him slowly as the fans almost literally EXPLODE! Probably the loudest ovation of the night as Razor manages to roll the man who beat him for the King of Xtreme title almost 3 years ago onto his stomach! Razor locks in the Xtreme Walls, receiving a huge positive response from the fans! He screams “How’s that for a King of Xtreme?” as Kanimaniac struggles on his stomach!
Ted Cedar: “Oh no, this isn’t good!”
Adam Dennis: “I may just have gone deaf!”
Razor wrenches away at the Dragon King, but Kanimaniac is known for his ability to not give up! Kanimaniac knows he has to win this match, to prove himself to his old rival. He struggles to crawl forward and forward. Razor pulls his legs as hard as he can. Kanimaniac begins to grunt and moan a bit as he claws his way forward. He gets closer and closer aaaaand, he grabs the ropes! The fans begin to boo as the ref begins to count “1!” “2!” “3!” – Razor releases it and yells at the referee to “Shut the hell up!” The referee begins to scold him as the fans begin to chant “This is awesome!” followed by five claps. Razor bends over and pulls his broken opponent up to his feet. He locks him in position for a Razor Sharp Cutter, but Kanimaniac quickly comes back to life and shoves him forward! Razor runs forward a bit, turns around and eats a Dropkick! Kanimaniac gets up and yells a bit before throwing his hand up, trying to get the fans motivated, but at this point, they are just being dicks to the very well-known baby-face. Kanimaniac goes out to the ring apron and then begins to climb up the top rope. He gets to the top slowly and waits for Razor to stand up! Razor slowly gets up to his feet, as Kanimaniac takes a leap of faith! Razor leaps into the air and catches him in mid-air with a beautiful Razor Sharp Cutter! The fans explode with cheers as the sneaky heel rolls the beloved baby-face onto his back for a pin! “1!” “2!” “3!”
DING! DING! DING!
[I realize this wasn’t so great. I had about half of this done, and then I realized Kani couldn’t show so I tried writing something half-decent so that it could tell somewhat of a story between these two.]
