WWE Hall of Famer Jake "The Snake" Roberts appeared on The Adam Carrola Show recently and talked about going to work for a new wrestling promotion starting in Las Vegas, as a trainer.

Jake said the promotion is offering full medical and retirement packages to wrestlers. Apparently they're looking at launching in December with Jake, Shane Douglas, Tommy Dreamer and Terry Funk training wrestlers in the old school style of pro wrestling. There has been talk of Douglas being involved in a promotion like this for several years but nothing has ever happened, until now it looks like.

Roberts said on the podcast that he's having another hip operation soon and then would be moving to Las Vegas to work with the group.

Wonder if he's talking about this?

The video description says "Are you tired of Fake Sports Entertainment?"

I won't be watching that.

Yeah, the negative angle against WWE isn't something I'm going to support.

Nowadays I don't "watch" (as in sit and go through x hours of) wrestling. I just watch the bullet points: like promos and very specific matches if the people in them are wrestlers I do enjoy seeing.

The point with my previous comment was:
The fact they are "promising" REAL wrestling, when wrestling itself is... pretty much real. The fact they call Sports Entretainment "fake" brings the old and neverending debate whether if "fake" is a good word. Just that. They're already trying to hunt deer when they don't even know if they'll hit a stationary bottle, see what I mean?

I remember seeing a GFW promo video saying GFW that all issues are real or something like that. but it is still a staged show, so how can people see the stories as real if they are all settle with predetermined results
