M3.) David Malakian vs. Razor Xtreme Empty
PostSubject: Re: M3.) David Malakian vs. Razor Xtreme   M3.) David Malakian vs. Razor Xtreme EmptyTue Oct 20, 2015 7:44 pm

The camera pans to the ring from a distance, where we see Laura Watts standing at the ready with a microphone in hand.

Ted Cedar: "And we're back! And that was a cryptic message from The Stranger, as usual..."

David Michaels: "But enough about that! We've got a big match happening here!"

Ted Cedar: "Indeed we do, David! Razor Xtreme is set to take on the giant newcomer, David Malakian, who debuted last week in a shocking victory over recent Intercontinental Champion Dante Cross!"

David Michaels: "It was a hell of a win, but Razor is on a whole other level, and David's going to learn that first hand if he spends too much time trying to show off like he did last week."

Laura Watts: "The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first... being accompanied by "The Titan", Maddox Paine and Eric Badman... standing six foot four and weighing in at two hundred and twenty five pounds... from Los Angeles, California... the XWA World Heavyweight Champion... Razor... XTREEEEEEME!”

Ever the spotlight hog, "Zero Visibility" by Rise Against hits the personal announcement system long before Laura is done with her introduction of him. The camera pans from the ring as the arrogant Champion makes his way out from behind the curtain with a hyped up shout. Paine and Badman trailing not far behind. The Titan looks far less enthused, while Eric has his usual smarmy aura about him. Between Eric and Razor, it's a wonder that the fans aren't pulled over the barricade to start orbiting their combined egos. Though it certainly attracts the ire of all of them; the arena is loaded with jeers. The trio makes their way down the ramp, each in their own respective way, as the anticipation mounts. Razor sure to flash the title draped across his shoulder at every opportunity.

Ted Cedar: "Razor Xtreme, as he'll readily inform you, is the second-longest reigning Champion in XWA history at the present time, and he's dead set on taking first place."

David Michaels: "Love him or hate him, and believe me, most of us do, that's an incredible feat in and of itself."

Ted Cedar: "That said, you've got to wonder how much of that is thanks to Maddox Paine and Eric Badman?"

David Michaels: "Razor Xtreme is undoubtedly at the level of a World Champion on his own without these two here, but given how few alliances there are in XWA these days, it certainly gives him the edge. What he really needs to make sure of is that he doesn't become entirely dependant on the two of them, or he's going to get lazy and then when he has to fight without them at his side, he's going to get fucked up. Oh, did I say that out loud?"

As the trio reaches the end of the ramp, Maddox Paine stops at the barricade's end and folds his hands in front of him, looking very much like a bouncer. Eric continues to follow Razor to the ringside area, and holds his hands up to showcase the Champion as he leaps up onto the apron and turns to face the crowd, extending both of his arms outward in a 'crucifix' pose, earning a soft hook of cheers, but more audibly, boos from just about every other member of the capacity crowd. Razor and Eric simply smirk in response. How predictable. Shaking his head, Razor  turns his attention back to the ring and vaults over the top rope. Almost immediately, he vaults back up onto the second rope in the corner, throwing up 'the horns' with both hands, earning himself another wave of jeers and absolutely revelling in it. He eventually hops down, and runs the ropes a couple of times to get the blood flowing while Eric applauds him like some sort of stage play's grand finale. "Zero Visibility" fades away as the fans are left in momentary silence. Razor, meanwhile, saunters over to a corner of the ring and... sits down boredly.

Ted Cedar: "The arrogance of Razor Xtreme never ceases to amaze me."

David Michaels: "If he's smart, he's not going to sleep on his challenger. Dante made that same mistake last week and paid for it."

The arena lights grow dim as an intense drum beat overpowers the airspace unoccupied by more than the crowd's murmurs, and a thick, gray fog floods the stage, occupying roughly a foot and a half off the air above the floor.  As the guitars kick in, bringing the timeless-and-aggressive riff of Led Zeppelin's "Kashmir" with them, a synchronous flash blinds the arena-goers for no more than a split second. A dim spotlight draws attention to the stage as "The Ivory Colossus" makes his way out from behind the curtain. His impressive form towering over the stage. He stands in silence, momentarily. His chest rising and falling as he breathes deeply, glaring at the squared circle in the distance. Baring his teeth, David raises both arms to his sides and begins to flex, demonstrating his perfectly sculpted and battle hardened musculature for the cameras. Turning once and allowing the muscles in his back to ripple for the camera.

Laura Watts: "And his opponent... standing six foot six and weighing in at two hundred eighty pounds... from  Athens, Greece... David... MALAKIAN!”

Ted Cedar: "And there he is! The impressively athletic David Malakian is set to do battle with the World Heavyweight Champion in his second match!!"

David Michaels: "Welcome to the big leagues, kid. Just hope you didn't get called up too early."

His show-boating ceases for now, as his focus returns to the ring itself. Turning to face the ramp, David rolls his shoulders twice, before beginning a powerful stride towards the ring. Ignoring the fans on either side of him until he reaches the foot of the ramp and casts a glance out over the thousands in attendance. His attention then turns from the fans to the man beside him. Razor's "enforcer", The Titan. He turns to Face Maddox Paine for a brief moment. Sizing him up? The Ivory Colossus looks down at his hand, following it as he raises it up and brings it up to the top of his head. Pushing back slightly against his ashen hair before moving his hand forward toward the top of Maddox's head. Comparing heights, of which Paine stands about an inch greater. David withdraws his hand and an expression of interest comes across his face. David sees a real challenge. Nodding his head, he keeps his eyes on the big man before leaving the ramp and heading towards the ring. Eric Badman attempts to pester his client's opponent as he saunters over to the steps, but David simply tenses his muscles, feigning as if he's going to go after the well-dressed man, which causes Eric to jump a little bit. David laughs and shakes his head, much to Badman's embarassment.
"Puny man."

David Michaels: *laughs* "Maybe don't pick that fight, Eric. Let your client handle this one."

Ted Cedar: "I'd be inclined to agree... although it wouldn't be the first time we've seen Eric Badman get between one of his clients, and a much scarier foe."

David Michaels: "On a related note, if that's what he does to Eric just walking up to him, I'd love to see what this guy would do to door-to-door Mormons."

David adjusts his pace as he quickly jogs up onto the ring apron and vaults over the top rope, the same way that Razor had done before. Throwing his arms up over his head, fists clenched and biceps bulging, David unleashes a titanic, intimidating roar as the lights come up to about half their usual brightness. Bringing his arms down, David clutches at his right wrist and flexes his biceps from the front before backing into a corner of the ring and relaxing against the turnbuckle, his eyes locked in a determined, stony gaze. His music fades out as he awaits the beginning of the match with a look that is both focused, and yet simultaneously displeased. The intensity of David seems to pique Razor's interest as well; the Californian seems to have been prompted to stand back, and he begins shaking out his hands in the corner of the ring. First handing his title off to the official to give the Timekeeper, and then hopping up and down in anticipation of the bell.

Laura Watts exits the ring as the referee signals for the bell to sound.

DING DING DING

------------

Razor and David before circle the ring methodically before meeting for the initial lock-up. There is a momentary struggle- Razor seems to put up more of a challenge than David had anticipated. A flexing of his muscles and a shift in stance indicates that the big man may be taking Razor more seriously; within seconds he's able to pluck the XWA Champion from the mat, throwing him across the ring! The Champion is quick, though- both on his feet, and in thought. Razor is able to tuck before he hits the canvas and roll right back up. He simply sneers at his albino attacker and thumbs his nose arrogantly as he gets into a defensive stance. Pure provocation, and it works to perfection. David snarls, charging predictably at his scrawnier adversary. RX pivots expertly behind him and secures a Rear Waistlock. Just as quickly, however, Malakian braces and pulls his opponent's hands apart without much trouble. Razor simply smirks; with his hands free, the XWA Champion leaps off of his feet, wrapping both legs around Malakian's body, and his arm around the big man's throat in a Sleeper Hold! Rather than panicking, however, David simply reaches back, grabbing the back of Razor's head with one hand, while the other reaches around to secure a modified Three-Quarter Facelock. With a mighty heave, Malakian throws himself and Razor towards the canvas, throwing his lanky opponent off of him with a modified Snapmare! Outside the ring, Eric slaps on the ring apron to try and get Razor's attention, shouting motivational nonsense at his client. Razor hits the canvas and tumbles, rolling towards Eric. David scurries to his feet and tries to grab a hold of RX, but the Champion rolls out to the apron, where he rises quickly with aid of the ropes. Malakian closes in; Razor tries to deter The Ivory Colossus with a hard kick through the ropes, but has his foot caught under David's arm! Before Razor can retaliate, David clocks him one right in the jaw, and releases his leg, grabbing a hold of Razor's... shoulder and arm?

Ted Cedar: "David's got Razor in a Collar and Elbow tieup over the top rope! He's really determined to finish that test of strength!"

David Michaels: "I'm not sure what's bigger here, David's need to prove his dominance, or the will that fuels that need! Whatever it is, it's damn admirable! And also damn frightening!"

Once David's certain he has Razor firmly in his grasp, The Herculean shows off his impressive strength, lifting Razor up off of the apron - suspending him near-verticallly- to throw him back into the ring over the top rope! And as has been the case so far, Razor takes it a step further, showing off his impressive strength and agility, landing on his feet in the ring! Wobbling briefly, RX is able to get his bearings just in time to avoid David's advance by running for the ropes. As XWA's self-proclaimed Greatest of All Time bounds back, he goes low, sliding baseball-style between David's legs. Popping up behind the Greek gladiator, RX clinches him in a Rear Waistlock. He hits the gas immediately, pushing Malakian into the ropes, but as he tries to gain the momentum for an O'Connor Roll, he's stopped courtesy of a Back Elbow from Malakian! Razor tumbles backwards, clutching at his aching jaw as he rises back up and attempts another lunge at David, only to meet with a surprise Thrust Kick to the solarplexus! RX bounces up- a few inches off of the canvas- before doubling over, setting himself up perfectly as The God of Thunder steps forward and plants him with a DDT, face-first! David is quick to attempt a Lateral Press, but The Highest Level is just as quick to kick out at a count of one. On the outside, Eric applauds, boasting obnixously.

Ted Cedar: "And Razor with the quick kickout. David Malakian has been very impressive so far, but Razor's tenacity is well-known here in XWA. It's gonna take a lot more than than to score a win over the Champ."

David Michaels: "But Ted, don't you know that DDT means 'The End'?"

Ted Cedar: "Once upon a time. If that's the case, why wasn't it your finishing manuever?"

David Michaels: "'Cause kicking people's teeth in was more fun."

David rises back to his feet with a gruff expression, yanking Razor up by the hair as he does so. The Grecian is quick to RX up for a Suplex, but not before lashing out with a pair of hard Knee Strikes to Razor's body! Hoisting the Champion up over his head, David pulls his far arm away, suspending Razor with one arm and flexing his free arm momentarily! The fall that comes feels like it's in slow motion as he delivers RX to the cold, unforgiving mat! David's not done yet- he makes sure to keep Razor's arm hooked as he rolls over and clambers back to a vertical base, bringing Razor up with him and lifting him for a second Suplex! This time, he keeps both hands on his opponent, turning around as he suspends Razor above the mat. Spinning the Champion around in mid-air, David drops to a single knee, slamming The Rated Y2X Superstar (Seriously, Razor?) down across it! Holding him by the neck, Malakian contorts Razor's spine with a Backbreaker Hold! From the outside, Eric screams frantic encouragement to his client, as RX tries to survive the Trial of Hercules. When the Champion shows no signs of submission, David raises his free hand to assault him with vicious, repeated Forearm Clubs across the chest! Soon thereafter, Malakian takes Razor's head in both hands and stands, only to throw him like a stone at the canvas, spiking his neck with a hard Mat Slam. Razor bounces and rolls once, landing on his stomach and reaching out towards the distant ropes, where Eric continues to pound on the apron  'encouragingly'. Meanwhile, Razor's opponent flexes one of his large arms, before promptly dropping the point of his elbow straight into the small of RX's back! Malakian rolls his opponent over and covers Razor with another Lateral Press, hooking the leg and making sure to grind his forearm vindictively across Razor's face as the referee drops to count. "One! Tw-" Kickout!

Ted Cedar: "Another cover and another one count for David Malakian. Malakian is two-and-O, if you wanna look at it like shots on goal."

David Michaels: "The only count that matters is the three-count, Ted. Close doesn't count. Razor Xtreme knows that, and David Malakian knows that."

Huffing a bitter laugh, The Ivory Colossus rises back up to his feet, shaking his head in disapproval. Grabbing his punk of an opponent, he rips him from the canvas yet again and staggers him with a pair of brutal knees to the body, battering his torso even further, almost as if he were deliberately trying to give Razor internal injuries. With a mighty heave, Malakian powers the XWA Champion up and over his head, suspending him high above the canvas in a Military Press! He proceeds to cart RX around the ring, walking a lap before turning towards the entrance ramp, where Maddox Paine continues to stand guard stoically.
"This is who you work for? Pathetic!"
As he likely intended, David's barking draws the attention of The Titan who inclines his head in the direction of Malakian's spouting, before beginning to slowly advance on the ring. Continuing to showboat, Malakian presses Razor up and down, but as he lurches forward, apparently planning to throw Razor into Maddox, the XWA Champion is able to scurry down the back of his opponent; the resulting action is David throwing himself chest-first into the ropes and stumbling backwards straight into a Dropkick from Razor! David bounces into the ropes again, whirling around before rebounding in a daze, just in time to feel Razor's foot scrape across his entire face with a high Roundhouse Kick! The force of the blow is enough to drop David to a groggy knee, but it doesn't quite take him down!

Ted Cedar: "Roundhouse Kick by Razor Xtreme! The big man is reeling!"

David Michaels: *singing* "All the other kids with the pumped up kicks better run, better run... outrun my gun!"

Ted Cedar:  "I think this may be the most appropriate, literal use of the term I've heard."

David shakes his head, slapping at his forehead as he attempts to get his bearings while experiencing a head rush.
"You wanna try and walk over me, junior?"
Seething, the XWA Champion slaps the canvas aggressively as he storms up and approaches the crumbling statue of David. Getting into some kind of martial arts stance, Razor continues to vent his frustrations at his rookie opponent as he fires off a buzzsaw-like Roundhouse Kick that connects flush and snaps David's head to one side, but The God of Thunder
remains one one knee!
"Hit the fucking bricks! You're nobody!"
Teeth bared, the furious champion throws a third Roundhouse, only to be caught as a pale arm rises up to parry the blow, and just as quickly maneuvers to tuck Razor's outstretched leg under his shoulder, but the move doesn't take Razor off his guard- far from it- as he clobbers Malakian's jaw with the other leg, throwing all two hundred and twenty five pounds behind a malicious Enzuigiri! David's head snaps to the other side and he loses a hold of Razor's foot, but he still remains rooted to the ground by one knee. Razor again slaps the canvas as he rises up and begins assaulting Malakian with rapid kicks! One to the chest! One to the jaw! One across the other cheek! A spinning kick to the chin! At this rate, he'll knock David out on his feet before he knocks him down, but that's not the intention. Taking off into the far ropes at a dead run, Razor comes back like a boomerang, with the force of shotgun blast as he slams the sole of his boot into Malakian's jaw, driving him into the canvas and stepping off of his head with a disgusting Big Boot!
"That's it Razor! Pin 'im!"

David Michaels: "That kick was as ugly as Eric Badman... mother of god!"

Ted Cedar:  "You're not kidding, what a Big Boot! Right to the head!"

Whether it's at Badman's prompting, or simply common sense, Razor drops to the mat and presses both of his hands into David's sculpted chest. The referee drops to count the pin. "One! T-" Kickout!
"What the FUCK was that SHIT!? Don't even tell me that SHIT'S for real!"
Razor skips astonishment and moves straight to unbridled anger, launching himself at Malakian from his knees and punching him as many times as he can in the face before the referee scurries over to admonish him. As soon as the official moves in, Razor switches position, grabbing a fistful of David's blanched hair and sitting the near-three-hundred pounder up on the mat. Wrapping an arm around Malakian's neck, RX locks in a Sleeper Hold on his opponent once more. As he does so, he begins to rise up, only to drop a knee into David's lumbar. David begins to yelp in pain, but quickly grits his teeth and transitions to a growl. Razor repeats the motion, standing up and alternating knees. Malakian's hands shoot out to either side, fingers extending fully before clenching into tight fists. Razor switches knees again. The Champion grins sadistically as Eric continues to shout encouragingly at ringside. Maddox, too, seems to have a vested interest in this match, having left his post to follow the action around the ring on the outside..
Body him Razor! Bury this young punk!
Several knees later, as Razor gets ready to deliver another, David's made note enough of his opponent's timing to make his move. As Razor removes his knee from David's back, The Herculean uses a concentrated explosion of power, pushing himself up onto his feet, forcing Razor to transition from a Sleeper to a Side Headlock. From here, he's able to hammer away at the gut of RX with rapid Back Elbow strikes, until finally, Razor is driven back! Razor recovers hurriedly and lunges at David, but the rookie has this surprisingly scouted as well, tagging him in the mouth with the butt of his elbow! Ouch!

David Michaels: "Now that's what I call smash mouth offence! Pucker up, Razor!"

Ted Cedar: "Momentum changes hands once again! Will David turn this match back in his favour, or can Razor fight off this comeback by the upstart?"

As RX staggers from the wrecking ball that just collided with his jaw, the two-hundred-and-eighty pounder takes off into the opposite ropes. Razor's ready as he bounds back, though- David's forced to duck as Razor leapfrogs him. Malakian stops quickly, beginning  to turn around just as Razor lands on his feet, but whirls straight into a Backwards Dropkick by his opponent! The unorthodox blow makes contact with David's chest, allowing Razor to push off of him and somersault to the canvas, while David stumbles back. Catching himself on the ropes, David turns to charge at Razor, only for a hand to wrap around his ankle! Turning to look down at the parasite that is Eric Badman, David breaks free of Eric's grasp and turns to look up, just in time to catch a charging Razor, catapulting him to the floor with a Back Body Drop! Badman scrambles to avoid being crushed by his client as Razor strikes the ground with a sickening splat! The referee begins to count RX out, but is largely ignored by those inside and outside the ring. To his credit, Eric is immediately back at his client's side, checking on him for injuries and paying little mind to David letting lose with a bestial roar inside the ring. However, his eyes widen when he sees the pale monster turn to start running the ropes opposite them!
"MADDOX!"
Just as David hits the center of the ring, Maddox hops up onto the apron, blocking The God of Thunder from executing the Suicide Dive we saw him level Dante Cross with last week. David stops dead in his tracks and clenches his fists angrily. Clencing his teeth, he steps forward and spits at Maddox.
"Bloody COWARDS!"
Maddox smirks for a brief moment before looking down, trying to control himself, lest he get his boss disqualified. Meanwhile, Razor and Badman have snuck to the other side of the ring. Maddox providing ample distraction. When The Titan looks back up, his expression is once again cold and stoic. Between this, and the sound of a light thud on the mat, David catches onto the cues, whirling around and catching a darting Razor by the throat! Without turning, David proceeds to throw a Thrust Kick at the apron, only to just miss as Maddox hops down, raising his hands innocently in the air. The lack of balance and focus on his opponent allow Razor to capitalize, as he begins to throw several rapid, precision kicks into Malakian's sternum, turning his pale chest an angry red as RX breaks free of the chokehold and backs his opponent into the turnbuckle.

Ted Cedar: "That was a big mistake by Malakian, and now he's learning the consequences!"

David Michaels: "That's exactly what's happening. By the same token, it's not exactly easy to keep your eyes on Razor Xtreme when Maddox Paine is standing right behind you! I'm not sure there was a winning scenario for Malakian there."

"Kick his FUCKING head in!
Now free of his opponent's claw-like grasp, Razor caps off his ensemble of kicks with another high Roundhouse, striking Malakian across the jaw and causing him to slump against the corner. Razor begins to make his way across the ring towards the opposite corner. Facing the crowd, the XWA Champion brings his leg up and slaps his knee, signalling he's for the cornered Shining Wizard!
"Razor nooooo!
Razor whirls around to charge, only to come face-to-face with his larger foe barreling across the ring toward him, and back-to-canvas with a lightning quick Running STO! David keeps an arm draped across his chest for the pin attempt. "One! Two[/u]!" Kickout! RX gets the shoulder up at two!

Ted Cedar: "Near-fall there for David Malakian after a THUNDEROUS STO!"

David Michaels: "He needs to follow up, rather than focus on Eric and Maddox this time. He's got the Champ on the ropes, which is more than a lot of guys can say, but he won't wanna stop there."

"Yeah Razor, hold on! COME ON RAZOR!"
David's expression returns to its usual level of disapproval. At this point, he's expectant of the Champion kicking out of things that would put regular men in the ICU. He's certainly had enough breathers. Rising to his feet, The God of Thunder turns to look at Razor, now laying on his stomach. Grabbing him by the ankles, he drags RX towards the ring's centre and sits down atop his spine, cupping both hands beneath his chin, cranking back with a Camel Clutch!  Razor groans in pain as his foe bends him into a J shape. Both men oblivious to the interaction between Maddox and Eric a moment ago...
"Hold on Razor! Don't give up!"
Eric continues to 'motivate' to his client as he hops up onto the apron. Suspicious of the manager's intentions, the referee moves to cut Badman off, taking his eyes off of the wrestlers in the ring... allowing Razor to bite down on David's thumb. Malakian screams as his grip comes apart, and he rolls away, clutching at his hand and growling in pain. A desperate Razor crawls toward the ropes, where Maddox slides something in to him. Taking it into his hand, Razor gets a wicked grin on his face as he watches David amble to his feet. Eric still taking care of the referee. Razor slips on Eric Badman's trademark Brass Knuckles and cocks his fist back. Goading Malakian with his free hand, Razor watches his opponent stumble towards him and then blasts him hard in the stomach his the knuckles! David doubles over, but Razor's not done; the XWA Champion drops down to a knee and throws an uppercut into the same spot, causing David to heave in place, before throwing the Brass Knuckles out under the bottom rope. Just in time for Eric to 'give up' and drop down off of the apron.
"This is what happens when you walk the Razor's Edge!"
Rising up in a hurry, RX feeds David a helping of knee strikes to the stomach, before showing off his strength, lifting the two-hundred-eighty-pounder up onto his shoulders in a Fireman's Carry to a shower of boos from the crowd! Could it be?!

Ted Cedar: "Razor's Edge! Razor has the big man up!"

David Michaels: "This is it, Ted! "

Razor launches David up off of his shoulders, but as he does so, The Herculean connects with a punch of his own- a savage right hand reminiscent of the Superman Punch that put Dante Cross away- just as he begins to come down, knocking Razor down and away, as both men crumble to the mat! The referee begins to count for a Double Knockout!
"C'mon Razor! Get up! He's out of gas!"
Badman's frantic pleas fall on deaf ears. At a count of four, David begins to groggily rise to a vertical base, backing up towards the nearest corner of the ring to catch his breath. Frustrated, Eric follows in hot pursuit, as Razor begins to get up at a count of seven. Once more, the dastardly Badman hops up onto the apron, directly in David's face! Shouting insults at the mountain of man slumped in front of him! Malakian grits his teeth and rises up, ready to clock Eric the same way he had Razor moments before. But as he turns toward Badman and cocks his fist back, he suddenly ducks and scrambles away- Razor Xtreme throws himself straight into Badman shoulder first, knocking his manager clear off of the apron and into the barricade! And the crowd goes wild! The look of wide-eyed horror on Razor's face is multiplied as he turns around and comes face-to-face with David, who doubles him over with a rough kick. Reeling in RX for a powerbomb, The Ivory Colossus roars furiously, powering Razor up above his head for a Crucifix Powerbomb! With Razor suspended above the mat,  Malakian backs toward the corner, but before can execute the original Razor's Edge, Razor drops down behind him and lands on his feet as David stumbles forward, throwing himself off balance and just keeping from spilling to the canvas. Dazedly, David watches the XWA Champion vault up to the top rope in a Moonsault position! Realizing his predicament, David desperately pushes onward and upward, rising to his feet, sprinting to the corner, and leaping up onto the second rope in an incredible display of athleticism!

David Michaels: "Oh shit! Incoming flight from Suplex City!"

Ted Cedar: "My god, not from the top rope?!"

"Noooooo!"
There's not much for Razor (or a sitting Eric Badman) to do but pray from here, as Malakian wraps both arms around the Champion's waist and throws himself backwards off of the turnbuckle! The fall through the air seems to happen in slow motion, speeding up just in time for the car crash-like impact, as both men hit the Canvas hard off of an Avalanche German Suplex! Razor's now-flattened body goes limp as David somehow keeps his arms wrapped around Razor's waist and bridges his body in a pinning attempt! The referee slides over in fittingly epic fashion to count the pin attempt! "One! Two! Three!"

Ted Cedar: "David Malakian has done it! The kid just beat the XWA Champion!"

David Michaels: "Someone might need to tell him that later, I think he's out cold!"

As the referee's count hits three, David can hold on no longer, and collapses while Razor drops down on top of him, then slowly rolls to the side. Both men lay demolished after the elevated collision, and it's some time after "Come With Me" hits the personal announcement system that the Grecian is able to be roused enough to have his arm raised in victory. He may not even realize that he just scored a victory over the XWA Champion. Meanwhile, the only thing saving him from the ire of The Titan is probably the fact that Maddox is too busy trying to peel a distraught Eric Badman from the ring apron. Chances are, Malakian would hear from them soon. Stumbling out the ring, the unlikely victor makes his way towards the backstage area. The realization settling in finally as he reaches the top of the stage, and throws his arms up in victory, letting loose with a loud, powerful roar.

Ted Cedar: "What an upset by this kid, David Malakian!"

David Michaels: "He better enjoy it now, because if I know Razor Xtreme, Malakian's gonna have hell to pay later."

Ted Cedar: "As much as I hate to say it, you're probably right about that..."

The camera then pans to the ring; with Badman and Razor having pulled themselves together enough to argue about who's fault the loss was. Maddox simply shaking his head.

Ted Cedar: "We'll be right back with Vendetta, folks, stay tuned! The main event is coming up in the semifinals of the King of Xtreme Tournament! Fans bring the weapons! Shade versus Caleb Spires! All that when we return from commercial break!"

With one last shot of a distraught Razor Xtreme, the scene fades as Vendetta cuts to commercial break.

(Good luck. Know I went about 475 over. Fun as hell, tho. <3 Still trying to figure out pacing, but I think I did a lot better in that regard this time.)

DING DING DING

As soon as the bell rings, the conniving XWA World Champ charges towards his much bigger opponent and throws a big running knee, sending big Dave flying back-first into the corner before he can even ready himself. As soon as he hits the turnbuckle, Razor begins to unload with rapid right hands, trying to make a dent in the big and dominant competitor's physique. He throws his right hands mindlessly, just trying to cause as much damage as possible, however, his much bigger challenger throws Razor back with full force, sending him flying almost halfway across the ring! The champ rolls up to his feet only to get shoved back into the opposite turnbuckle and now Malakian gives him a taste of his own medicine by throwing his own hard right hands. This match has started off as a brawl – the champ knows he has no business trying to out-power the much bigger and stronger man. David throws more focused rights, actually trying to dominate his opponent. Razor bends down in the corner as Eric Goodman begins to shout his usual crap to try and motivate his “friend.” The ref tries to keep this match in order as he presses back against David, trying to force him off Razor. As soon as the big man backs off a bit, Razor picks his spot and throws a big right kick to the right knee, bringing him down a bit. Malakian doesn't shake much, so the champ throws another kick to the knee, dropping him a bit. Xtreme then throws a big right forearm, making perfect contact with the chin of Malakian. Xtreme then runs to the ropes behind David and the big man is ready with a clothesline. Or at least, he thinks he's ready, as Razor slides under the lariat attempt and runs to the opposite ropes before charging back and dropping both legs forward, hitting a low-dropkick directly to the same left knee of David, finally knocking him down a peg.

Cedar: “Like him or hate him, Razor is an experienced in-ring veteran and he knows his way around the mat. He's dealt with big men before and he knows how to do it, he's picking at the left leg of the much bigger man to try and bring him down.”

Michaels: “Razor may have beaten big men before, but this David Malakian is unlike anything we've seen before, Ted. This guy is a vicious beast from what we've seen so far, there's no planning for a guy like him.”

Razor quickly grabs the head of Dave as he sits down on one knee and he tucks it under his arm in a facelock before driving himself back as hard as he can, sending the big man down face-first into the mat. The champ goes for the futile pin, possibly using it as an excuse to get a bit of rest.

“1!”

Malakian kicks out instantly. After kicking out, Dave sits up a bit and Razor quickly wraps his right arm around the neck of the Greek beast and then tangles his left arm under Malakian's left as he locks in a modified sleeper. A rest hold early on, to try and keep the big man grounded. The referee makes sure that David doesn't wanna tap, which is pretty obvious at the moment, and Razor continues to apply pressure. Razor uses every ounce of force in his right forearm to keep the borderline chokehold on the big man as Dave begins to turn his entire body off to the side. He keeps his momentum going and then makes his way up to his feet before throwing a big back elbow right to the sternum of the champ. The blow is so stiff and powerful that Razor lets go of whatever he had left of the hold on him. David then presses his palm against the forehead of Razor and runs back towards the ropes, shoving him by his face over the top rope and right onto the outside! The champ lands next to his 'security' in Maddox Paine and Eric Goodman as David stands high in the middle of the ring, showing Razor that he hasn't done as much damage as he thinks he has. The fans in the arena cheer, because they hate Razor more than anyone else and they are glad to see him get tossed around.

Cedar: “and now Malakian is just having his way with Razor. The champ is trying but there isn't much he really can do right now!”

Michaels: “Is it bad that I enjoy seeing this? I don't feel the least bit of sympathy for the champ, he deserves everything he's getting right now.”

Razor gets up on two knees as Goodman and Paine help him up. He angrily darts back up to the apron before the ref can even count to one, as Malakian charges forward too. David tries to run a shoulder through the ropes, but Razor dodges to the side and as soon as Malakian's body exits the middle rope a little bit, he tosses a big right leg to the chest, catching him with a swift roundhouse. David stops himself, as that one actually hurt, and Razor quickly springboards over the big man in a full spin before landing right between his legs and attempting a sunset flip-esque pin. However, David grabs on to the ropes to hold his balance and as soon as he has enough of it, he quickly shimmies his way back, makes enough room, and then bends over and grabs Razor by the neck with both hands before raising him right back up to his feet in a single burst of strength. He then presses the champ back against the ropes and launches him to the other side with an Irish whip. Xtreme bounces off the ropes and sprints back, before attempting to jump into the air for a flying nothing, but he is caught in midair with a big bear hug by the big bear of a man! Razor groans as David puts all his strength into the bear hug, but luckily (Or... unluckily) for the champ, David only keeps it on for a little bit before adjusting the hug into a giant side slam, executing his signature “Bury Your Dead” (Kurrgan Shuffle). Razor hits the mat hard and the bigger man quickly goes for a pin on the champ, hoping to get off easily.

Razor kicks out before the two was fully completed. Malakian shrugs it off, realizing he shouldn't have expected the win right off the bat. He quickly pulls Razor by his hair and slowly picks him up to his feet, not wanting to give him any resting time. The conniving champ quickly begins to throw hard right-legged roundhouse kicks to the side of David's left knee, going right back to it. Malakian struggles a bit, as his knee is beginning to hurt, but he doesn't let it bother him too much. However, Razor then begins to switch up his offense in a dramatic way! By swinging those same roundhouse kicks, just a bit higher, as he begins to attack the ripped chest of the monster. He throws a big left-legged roundhouse right to the mid-section before throwing a right-legged roundhouse to the knee again, and then a left to the chest, and a right to the knee. Picking apart his opponent with the kicks that he is good at hitting. Finally, he goes for the big one. He swings his right leg at full speed and tries to connect with the skull of the big man, however Dave finally fights back, as he catches the leg of Razor with his left hand, showing excellent motor skills! He then tucks his right arm around the shoulder of the confused champion before picking him up onto his chest and throwing him all the way over with a fallaway slam! Except he keeps his arms wrapped around him after the impact, bridging the slam for a pin!

“1!”

“2!” -

Razor kicks out, except this time, the “two” count was fully completed.

Cedar: “Malakian is certainly doing a number on the champ. Every time Razor thinks he's starting to get the upper hand, the big man brings him back down!”

Michaels: “But as much as I hate to say it, the champ is showing great resiliency here as well. He is surviving the blows too, and that deserves some credit. But only a little.”

Razor rolls towards the ropes as David quickly tries to keep him pressed. As Razor leans against the ropes, the big man throws a big lifting knee right to the gut of Razor, making sure to hit it with his more healthy right leg. He then grabs the head of the champ – who is bent over from the knee strike – and he quickly attacks him with a powerful forearm strike right to the side of the head. Razor leans back against the ropes and the much heavier man quickly sprints to the other side of the ring and charges back at full speed, attempting to take Razor out again, but he slows down just a little bit due to his hurt left knee and by the time he is able to sprint back, the champ manages to dodge his charge by pulling down on the top rope, sending the big man flying over the rope and to the outside! However, Malakian shows his feats of athleticism as he manages to grab on to the ropes and land relatively safely on the outside on his feet. Xtreme doesn't notice this because he's already running to the opposite ropes and bouncing back, attempting to fly out quickly and hit a suicide dive; however, Malakian is already up and as soon as Razor's head is through the middle rope, he clubs him as hard as he can with a double axe handle! The champ stumbles back in agony, however he doesn't fall down. Instead he stumbles back all the way to the opposite ropes and bounces forward. Malakian is already inside the ring and he quickly charges at the champ before bringing him down with a big-time running STO, making sure to use his right leg to drop him to keep his left leg a little more rested. David then quickly gets on Razor for the pin.

“1!”

“2!” -

Not enough damage dealt, as Razor kicks out at 2 once again. David is beginning to get a bit frustrated, but he had to have known that the champ wasn't gonna fall that easily. He grabs a hold of Razor's head, wanting to keep the momentum going and not let Razor get too much of a rest. However, the crafty champ once again attacks in a burst as he hits a big back kick right to the left knee. As soon as Dave gives a bit of way, Razor backs off and he throws himself up, using his left leg as leverage as he quickly hits a signature Step-Up Enzuguiri! Malakian stumbles a bit, but doesn't fall. Xtreme quickly works his way up to his feet and runs to the ropes behind David before charging back and grabbing the back of Dave's head as he jumps forward, driving him skull-first into the mat with a running one-handed bulldog, something he's used for many many years now. As soon as the big man's head hits the floor, he bounces to the side and rolls onto his back. The champ powers through whatever pain he's in and sees David right in the middle of the mat. He quickly charges over to the ropes, jumps onto the middle one with both legs, and uses it as a springboard to do a full backflip, executing a picture-perfect Xtremesault! Razor rolls up onto two knees as he takes a short breath, and then he drops forward and hooks a single leg!

“1!”

“2!” -

David kicks out shortly after the two!

Cedar: “Three of Razor's biggest moves back to back and that still didn't do the trick!”

Michaels: “Whatever statement David is trying to make here tonight can be considered officially made. This kid will not give up!”

Razor yells 'DAMMIT!' as Malakian kicks out of three back-to-back signature maneuvers. But he still has plenty left in the tank. Razor gets up to his feet and he quickly attacks the leg, managing to think straight for a bit. He goes over to Dave's left leg and quickly stomps on it as hard as he can, just for good measure. He then bends over and picks it up a bit before twisting it to the side in a vicious manner. David begins to yelp as the champ puts unforgiving pressure on the twist to his leg. David tries to use the momentum of the twist to turn his entire body over, but it ends up being a bad decision, because as soon as he does, Razor wraps both of his legs around David's left leg and does a move he hardly ever uses, an ankle lock! “The Herculean” is strapped down in the middle of the ring as the champ puts an excruciating amount of strength behind that submission. The younger but bigger man screams out in agony as the unbiased Canadian crowd begins to clap away to try and motivate him to get out of this. Razor may be weaker physically, but he's very smart, and he knows he doesn't need to be stronger than David if he takes away the use of an important limb. And he has. Malakian screams in agony as Razor twists away at the leg as if he were trying to open a very tight valve. Dave's screams are almost uncomfortable to hear, but the “Rated Y2X Superstar” enjoys hearing cries of pain, so it's music to his ears. With the claps and support of the crowd getting louder, the big man begins to crawl towards the ropes slowly, trying to fight past the pain of this dreadful submission. Malakian drags and drags. The bottom rope seems to be a million feet away, but he's almost there. Razor realizes this and begins to get desperate, as he twists and turns more and more.

Cedar: “Come on, kid. Push yourself, you're almost there!”

Michaels: “Even if he makes it, that ankle lock is an awful move to be in. Who knows how this will affect him even afterwards!”

David Malakian forces himself more and more, knowing that the less he pushes himself to get to the ropes, the longer he'll be in that submission. He is only inches now, aaaaand... he grabs the bottom rope! Referee Jack Hammer quickly begins the count! “1!” “2!” “3!” … Razor doesn't release. “4!” - Razor releases. The evil champion made sure to take advantage of every second of that count to deal as much damage as he possibly could. Razor rolls off the ankle lock and David grabs on to his left leg, trying to tend to it. The champ gets up to his feet and he quickly walks over to his maimed opponent. He bends over to try and grab a hold of the leg again, but David quickly grabs Razor by the hair – almost out of desperation – and he tosses him to the outside through the middle ropes! Xtreme tries to grab the ropes to ease his fall but the throw was too strong so he doesn't have enough time to grab it and he misses it, before falling right down onto the hard concrete floor outside! Razor lands on his side nastily as he tries to recover, but is in a lot of pain. Malakian uses this moment to lay down on his back and catch his breath for a second, trying to recover from all the pain he is in. He grabs his leg in pain, but then decides to fight through the pain. He grabs a hold of the middle rope and uses it to raise himself up slowly. He works his way up faster than Razor can, however Razor is about up on his feet too, mainly because Maddox Paine has marched over and helped him up. David is in an insane amount of pain, but he also knows that this is his chance to take both men out right now. He limps at a fairly quick pace to the opposite ropes, ignores the pain in his leg as he bounces back as fast as he can, and he leaps through the middle rope, showing Razor how it's done as he hits a beautiful suicide dive that takes both his opponent and his opponent's enforcer down and out!

Michaels: “Just a beautiful move by David Malakian! And smart, he's taken out both Razor and Maddox! He may have just opened up his chances of winning even more!”

Cedar: “But at what cost? That move HAD to have taken something out of him as well! That can't be good for his freshly hurt leg!”

Ted Cedar is right, as Malakian is in an excessive amount of pain right now, and is unable to capitalize. Eric Goodman charges his rather large frame over to the chaos and attempts to shout words of encouragement to both of his friends. Malakian hears his raspy and annoying voice and he uses it to give himself adrenaline. He quickly grabs the ring apron and forces himself up to his... foot, as he tries to keep his left leg from touching the ground too much. He then bends over and picks up his legal opponent, leaving the big Maddox Paine behind. The referee is at a count of “3!” right now, and Malakian doesn't let it get any further than that. He slides Razor into the ring under the bottom rope and then follows him in the same way. Razor turns onto his side and begins to get up to his feet. David lets him, as he doesn't want to exert more of his own energy by trying to raise him to his feet. As soon as Xtreme turns around, “The Ivory Colossus” quickly throws his right arm and chokes Razor Xtreme before using his bare arm strength to raise him up and slam him down hard, hardly exerting too much of himself as he hits a devastating one-handed chokeslam! Razor is down after yet another signature move, but David isn't about to call it quits just yet. He realizes that Razor is right in position in the middle of the match, and he does something foolish. He slowly makes his way to the outside onto the ring apron before putting his right leg onto the middle turnbuckle. Not that he cares, but the fans begin to cheer, as the big man is about to take a big risk!

Cedar: “Is David Malakian about to go to the top rope?! This isn't a very smart move, considering his left leg is very much damaged!”

Michaels: “Who cares? He's a warrior, he fights through the pain, and if he hits this move, he's due for a big payoff!”

Malakian slowly ascends to the top, trying very hard to not put much pressure on his left leg. Once he is finally at the top, he stands high above on both feet. He then turns his attention to the middle, as he begins to walk the ropes! He tries to balance himself perfectly, but the pain in his left leg is distracting. He is almost near the middle of the ropes... and his left leg completely gives out! He stumbles and loses his balance as he falls onto the rope, his left leg hits right under his kneecap against the top of the rope. Razor realizes this and fights through his own pain as he quickly charges over to David as he sits atop the rope, and before he can fall off, he manages to use that as leverage to make him fall right onto his shoulders! He has him in position, and everyone knows it! He wouldn't have been able to carry him up, so he made him land on his shoulders instead, showing off his ring awareness. Razor throws him up with whatever strength he has left, and Malakian's face makes full contact with the champ's knee as Razor hits his finishing maneuver, the Razor's Edge (GTS)! Malakian looks like he just took a headshot from a sniper as he hits the mat, completely unconscious. Razor Xtreme drops on top of him for the pin!
