Monday's Labor Day edition of WWE RAW drew a 2.44 rating with only 3.385 million viewers, down from last week's 2.7 with 3.894 million viewers. By comparison, last year's Labor day RAW did a 2.88 rating.

Here's the hourly breakdown for this week:

- Hour 1: 3.570 million viewers
- Hour 2: 3.564 million viewers
- Hour 3: 3.021 million viewers

RAW was up against stiff competition on Monday night, including the Ohio State NCAA football game on ESPN which drew 10.585 million viewers.

Raw ranked #3 for the night behind the game and the NCAA post-game show.

(paraphrasing) "Three hours is too long. How can new fans get invested in a show that takes three hours every week?"

Plus, a big CFB game was on & it was Labor Day.

But, yeah, RAW is way too long. I find it hard to sit through all 3 hours. Especially when the product is trash on a lot of nights.

As Dave said, that OSU game isn't going to be the top rated football game they compete with. This is very indicative of them hitting really terrible lows this year.

But I thought Pro Wrestling is supposed to be on fire right now

Idk what people are watching. Raw has been on fleek for a while now.

I've been enjoying Raw more often than not these past few weeks, but that doesn't always translate to ratings. Casual fans are hard to predict (at least for me), but it seems likely that they aren't recognizing the star power. I don't know how relevant Sting is in casual fans' minds, but I'm guessing most younger ones aren't too familiar with him. Seth is a rising star, but he's not there yet, and every other big name is either out or named John Cena.

Raw isn't "great" but it's no longer infuriating me to watch it. There are two TVs in my living room at home so I don't actually have to choose between Raw and Football but I'd generally choose Raw because at least when the WWE fixes matches they don't bullshit you about it.

Worst thing is the blame will be put on someone else to protect who they're behind. For example, if they wanted to place the blame on New Day, it would be the last time they're in the main event.

3 hours is a pretty big problem tbh.

Do what they used to when they had Heat. make the third hour its own show, that people can choose to watch if they want to

If they focused on making SD! its' own brand again, maybe they wouldn't need to have the third hour. 2 hours of RAW and 2 hours of SD!

Seriously a lot of times I even forget Smackdown exists.

NXT is the only show worth watching and that ain't even on cable

With Smackdown moving to USA a move back to 2 hours is definitely possible.

When that happens you know they'll bullshit Smackdown for awhile like they do any new show.
